You still have to work within the system. They can still control the market which can break mom and pop operations. Or influence gov so that you have to go through a bunch of red tape to work for yourself.

And through all this you still have to eat and have a roof over your head.

1. Treason is a behavior, where as communism, socialism and marxism are political ideologies.

2. Treason is a govt official having sworn an oath to a constitution or leadership and knowingly engaging in behaviors to undermine, weaken or destroy that constitution or leadership.

3. Every member of the judicial, executive and legislative branches of the US govt. that engages in any behavior in an official capacity that is not specifically mentioned in the constitution is a degree of treason. Sedition is too objective and has been eliminated from the law of the land a very long time ago. Although the "appearance of inpropriety" and sedition are hand-in-hand in most instances.

4. To not actively submit bills to rescind unconstitutional laws currently on the books dating back to the foundation of the constitution is dereliction of duty, if not treason.

Maybe you know, or maybe you don't but I am in the process of leaving my corporate job. At first I was going to start my own business. Starting a business is not as complicated or troublesome as you seem to believe. However, it does require you to get off of the couch.

In Australia we have a Fabian Socialist Government selling out its citizens to the Chinese Facist/communist/tyrannical maoist Government(sic).
Yes a mouthful , a bit like having Chinese food laced with MSG?

We are going to have Fracking of coal seams that will poison our environment for centuries, so the Chinese can have our Gas.
This is Treason......to poison your own people to profit by collaboration with a foreign nation.
Communism was a fairytale invented to enslave millions .
Holywood recently has revised history, and portrays Stalin sympathisers as victims.
They should have all been deported.

I'm self employed but I realize that not everyone can do it, for different reasons.

It's like earning a million dollars. Sure everyone has a chance to make a million but not everyone can. There just isn't enough for everyone to make that amount of money even if they get off the couch and try their hardest.

Agricultural subsidy is an example of how the government controls things. They pay farmers not to grow to keep the price of products elevated. I wonder who that helps most in the end?

I see welfare as being the same thing. Pay workers not to work so production of goods is controlled to keep a certain price. That isn't communism, socialism or marxism. Anybody know what it could be?

There are trillions and trillions of dollars in our economy, so I honestly do not buy that. If you provide a good quality product or service, you can make enough for a comfortable life. Maybe you won't make a million a year, but isn't 50 or 60k better than being on welfare?

It isn't free-market capitalism, that is for sure. I see welfare as a bunch of lazy people living off of my life like parasites.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.


And 40 years ago this country was very close to becoming socialist. Then that tool Reagan was voted into office and everything has gone downhill ever since.

We are not a constitutional republic as defined by our original constitution, and if you read my posts you will see the reference to the "original" constitution. America is a corporation called Corp. US. Our presidents are, and have been for a while, the CEO's and our Senate is the acting Board of Directors of Corp US. U.S. citizens have been declared enemies of the corp.and bonded as collateral for the debts created by the corp.

What you're proving though is that this form of government we are living under now is worse than any "socialist" government we can currently fathom.
The capitalist are then enemy of the state and at least in a socialist government your day-to-day needs would be taken care of. In America, if you are poor you aren't guaranteed anything except a slap on the back from your local "conservative" and told to pull up your bootstraps....if you can afford them.

As for the rest of your post, it sounds to me like your thread should have been called "corporatism should be considered treason". Socialism really has nothing to do with it.

US GDP is around 15 trillion and the working age population (15-64) is around 200 million. That's around 75K per capita. Now I will admit that there are some ventures which will add to the GDP but all things being the same everyone making above 75K is leaving less for the rest.

Damn right it isn't free market capitalism. That has never existed on any significant level.

The op has pointed out that Communism, Socialism and Marxism should be consider treason.

While as distasteful as these forms of government are, they are a point of political thought. We are a country of laws, and based on those laws are the very idea of freedom and choice. We have the right to choose what politicians we choose to elect and if we desire them to stay in office or remove them when we do not desire to have them in that position any more.

We can not punish a person for believing in something, nor should be. That would be reminiscent of the McCarthy era, where there were modern day witch hunts for those who were suspected of being communist, and those convicted or turned in, were ruined for about the rest of their lives. While the very ideas that the three political groups would espouse are distasteful to all of us, they have the very same rights as anyone in the US does, to not only state their political belief, but also to legally enter into office.

The problems we face are multi-pronged and multi-facet; the problems cannot be blamed on socialism alone. Many people are right about socialism. Socialism is an economic system, the same as Capitalism. These have been used both in the past and present for evil designs. Recognize this, and we can have a more appropriate discussion of the benefits of the two.

By destroying our economic independence, we become more and more dependent on gov.. Economic slavery destroys the opposition, and we are forced to become the very dependents they want us to be. Would you allow sharia law, for example, to superseded state or federal law?? Would you allow the KKK to influence government??? What if Kim Jong Il wanted a seat in the senate, or Hamas, or Al Quiada, or The Muslum Brotherhood???
What if another National Socialist Nazi Party, or LaRaza demanded equal representation??? Is there not a point when we say "we the people" will not tolerate an outside ideology be allowed to destroy our form of governance and unique American culture, or force their politics on us.
we have welcomed immigrants from all over the world, with the expectation that they assimilate into our culture and obey our laws, but we also expect them to leave their former politics back home!

One can believe that John Doe is an s.o.b., but if he decides to beat the hell out of him, it becomes a crime. I believe G.W. committed treason when he made the statement " the constitution is only a god damn piece of paper".

By the way, Joe McCarthy was proven to be right when he exposed the communist influence in America. The supposition that he ruined "innocent" lives is revisionist history. The Senate Committee on un -American Activities only questioned 9 individuals. All admitted to being communists or either took the fifth amendment and refused to answer.
A thorough reading of history will reveal that around the turn of the century, there was a strong communist movement in America, with elected communist party officials in many positions in our government. After the soviets took over Russia, many of these party members actively worked as spies for the Soviets. The offices of the CFR were next door to the soviet embassy in New York, and the constant comings an goings of known communist party American government officials, is what eventually led to the investigations. It was a huge blow to the communists who were financially connected to some of Hollywood's wealthiest moguls. They cried foul and went on a disinformation campaign against McCarthy. Some people bought into the propaganda and with Hollywood's assistance, attempted the slander him. More
press coverage of disinformation about McCarthy eventually won out and he was toast, but the facts remain in the congressional record. Look it up.

I think that suggesting that a political ideology should be considered treasonous is treasonous. America stands for freedom (if you extremely over-simplify it, i guess). Taking away someone's right to identify with Marxism is more against America and the Constitution than Marxism.

You missed the principle about what the original author actually said equality of every human being
(when people use the extremes in their argument labour vs unemployed, it shows they dont actually understand equality for every one)

Everyone having the SAME equal access to: education, health care, food, water, electricity, civil matters (lawyers), social services regardless of income status
