When you are dealing with Aliens whose technology is 1 million years ahead of our own, then humanity is not in a position to know anything. Of course any rationale human being is going to demand proof or evidence, but we are at such a disadvantage and I doubt we could prove anything when it comes to such a technologically superior foe.

Dismissing a thing out of hand like that is your loss, friend. The meeting did happen, too many people were there, say the aliens, and later wrote about it and talked about it. Disregarding a thing does not make it unreal.

Like god, aliens are the only extant beings that defy science, the scientific method, hell even provability! They really aren't any different that any other unfalsifiable claim.

Bullet proof. That is the perfect excuse, they are so advanced that they defy leaving evidence of their existence. And yet they can't turn off their lights when they travel across galaxies to visit us, please.

I apologize, I made a hasty statement, I can't find anything specifically refuting it (probably because no serious researcher would go near such a ridiculous story ). I mean, come on. This meeting was so secret, that a picture slipped out? Skunkworks can employ thousands of people, working on a secret aircraft in, well, secrecy, but Eisenhower can't meet with aliens to discuss allowing abduction and cattle mutilation without a photo? There's nothing like contradicting yourself. You have no evidence whatsoever of Aliens flying through space with their lights on.

The statement I made was valid and it's not nonsense. You're not in a position to know anything and your lack of evidence is proof of that. If Aliens are here and they don't want us to know they are here, then they have the advantage and due to their superior technology, there's nothing you can do to change that.

For someone making a statement like that, you sure do have a lot of threads about aliens, friend. Perhaps a little research on the subject may change your mind. There are many photos of crashed craft, look for the ones taken by the Russian military.

I am sick of people posting "ALIENS DON'T EXIST" threads as well.
I am sick of it because I am sick of seeing how narrow minded people are.

Saying aliens do not exist is like saying a place you have never been does not exist.

I have never been to the Taj Mahal. I hear it's beautiful. There are pictures of it. There are eye witness reports of it. It shows up on maps, etc etc. However, the fact is, I have not been there. Pictures could be faked. Eye witness reports could be lies. Maps could be falsified. So on and so forth. Therefore, it could very well not exist.

It's the same with those who say aliens don't exist. There are pics, reports, etc etc. However, these nay sayers have never SEEN an alien personally, or personally stepped foot inside an alien craft. Therefore, they could very well not exist in their eyes.

However, to say they DO NOT exist, and to say they PROBABLY don't exist are 2 very different things.
One should be able to admit that something may exist even though they have not witnessed said "something" themselves. When someone outright denies the existence of aliens, the first thing that I think of is the "wow. what a narrow minded fool."
When someone outright claims that they DO exist (similar to your post) I think similar things.

There is no proof that they exist.....plain and simple. Regardless of how much you want to believe it. Conversely, there is no proof they DON'T exist.

So, in conclusion. I am sick of people saying that something DOES, or DOES NOT exist without proof. Regardless of what that 'something' is.

you can use this same arguement for the existence of god if you replace all aliens for god or angels....

if this was a discussion about that you would.probably bash it with extreme prejudice.


there is no proof of aliens just experiences of some, just like some have claimed to have experinces with demons angels or gods..

he'll you can prove santa exist ton of kids experince it every year.

I wouldn't bash someone at all. I would simply say the same thing I always say when someone outright denies, or outright claims that something exists when there is no proof of it. It's foolish and narrow minded to say something 100% does or does not exist without having proof.

It's fine to say "it's plausible that 'x' exists because ___________." or to say "it isn't plausible that 'x' exists because __________."

Your view on the subject is fine because you aren't saying "ALIENS EXIST, WE HAVE CONTACT.. HERE'S PROOF" and then the proof is simply a book regarding eye witness accounts and so on.

I do disagree with the 2nd scale you illustrated though.
I still feel for the "X" to be anywhere OTHER than the exact half way mark, something we can consider irrefutable, 100% proof would have to be brought forth, and it has not.
That's just my take on it though.
