Why do you consider British citizens to be afraid of children and criminals?

Because I just watched a riot happen here in Canada.

And here people were happy to name names. To work to push out that they were not afraid of them, and willing to bring them to justice.

Day two, and you guys have barely even begun to think about maybe doing that. A little bit.

You are all of two minds. You are afraid of the criminals. You are afraid that these youth will come get you. Find you. Hunt you down.

I've now seen two societies, not too dissimliar. One afraid. One concerned, but willing to butt heads with it.

Here is the meat on the bones. You're afraid of you're children, you're afraid of your military, you're afraid of your government, you're afraid of the police, you're afraid of the criminals, you're simply AFRAID.

And it is so ingrained, you don't know it.

And so this riot, it continues.

The fear of the British will show when the police starts their charges.

The fear of the "chavs"is already shown by the fact that they're cowering under mommy's bed now that there is 16K police on the ground and vigilante groups guarding civil property.

You either need to go asleep or wake up.

Theres been 685 arrests in London alone, so plenty of people have been shopped.

We dont give a crap about what happened in canada, stop trolling.

You should be.

There has been a series of riots all over. Rolling riots, in different places, but all over the World. You're not unique in the riot. But there is a uniqueness in how each set of them has been dealt with, and been ended and the outcomes.

Those outcomes are dictated by how the temperment of the society, and its willingness to deal with the issue straight on.

Some of the countries have dealt with their recent riots eloquently. Others are still mired in them.

Which one are you?

Why do you assume people here are afraid to "name names".....they are not!.....it's happening!

There are plenty of people here in Britain that are not afraid of reclaiming our streets....in fact that is EXACTLY what they are doing!

So we should call in the USA and ask them to start smartbombing London?

Theres a police helicopter over my house right now, hovering about 400-500 yards in front of it.

Something must be happening for it to be in the air at this time of night.

Police are being fired at in Aston Birmingham.

This is beyond bad, its like an evil spell has been cast across the land.

I think there should be a temporary suspension of human rights, the army called out and an armed curfew being enforced.

These scumbags must be stopped or we will descend into chaos.

Well it was 70 miles away but if it kicked off here, I would be less than 5 mins walk away from it, its very unusual to hear a chopper flying that low at this time of night.

Even if anyone in the crowd has guns, they will be greased by the authorities.

Gun ownership in the UK is nowhere near like it is in the United States from what I understand.

I just can't help but think though, these riots just seem a bit orchastrated to me...

Its not rumours im afraid, its just been reported on the news.

Shots were fired from a group of 40 youths at the police.

If the police are forced to fire back then so be it.
