Ladies and gentlemen, we have a great one among us! Arkaleus, the great judge of evil, has advised us that we are "unclean" and the evil children of Shaitan. Please, oh great one, show us the path to righteousness, allow us to bask in your infinite wisdom and vision. NOT! Dude, you're hillarious!

Actually he was speaking to you and the other guy... Belitting someone's perspective and making backhanded comments don't make your point any stronger, I don't even know why you post in some threads when you don't add any intelligent conversation to the posts... But again, it's a free country, belittle and insult away, nothing like respecting another persons point of view... What point of view do you have to offer other then the not so comical commentaries you make??

Arkaleus,

You are absolutely correct and you are wise beyond your years. Don't listen to the naysayers and apologists for every perversion. Traditional values became traditional because they work and history tells us that enduring cultures adhere to these values.

Couldn't agree more, however beaucrats and corporate conglomerates are trying and it's working to take away any old traditional american values people's once respected and took great pride in. Like someone said earlier, we need more statesmen, not politicians. It could work if people stopped being apathetic and spongeheads.

Never stop sharing your convictions with others. If enough of us share our sincere convictions without malice and without self-aggrandizement, there is a chance we may be heard in time to turn things around.

Which is why alot of us are here, we have concerns about our future, we're all wondering what has happened to American culture.... Not pop culture, thats not what makes this country, but it seems to be pushed into our heads many many times and it does make people think thats what America stands for now, i'm only referring to those that are again, spongeheads.

Mass media is a cultural juggernaut, but it is not the only influence.

I couldn't agree more.

I have decided to ignore 27jd from now on.

I will not see your posts anymore, so don't bother.

Screaming your accusations and complaints before the gentlemen will only serve to hoarsen your voice and redden your face.

I recommend that the rest of you do as well, lest we allow a single
to come and upset the spirit of our discussion, which is rather important.

Certently not someone that claims we are all in leauge with shaitan or who the hell ever.

I myself dont like ANYONE trying to tell me what is for my on good and wrapping it in a lot of quisi-meta-phsyical BS dosent give it any more power to me. I liston to the Rolling Stones, Doors, Black Sabbath, Who, etc, like my Whisky and have been known to spark a bong on a special occasion and dont give a # WHO likes it or not.

I would not have some wanna be prophet tell me what is good for me than I would some wanna be dictator, both are just seeking to control those weak-minded enough to by into their BS.

Your are not really saying this guy is right are you?

I don't need to strengthen my point, you are so quick to defend some fanatic that will call you evil and condemn you as some wicked sinner the second you disagree with what HE considers wrong. I have attempted to address him in an intellectual manner, if you took the time to read ANY of the threads from the beginning, but obviously you don't bother, you just immediately jump to conclusions. Feel free to read this thread from the beginning before you say I have no point of view to offer, and see how your buddy, Arkaleus the judge, responded.

We are truly kindred spirits Amuk.
I like newer stuff as well (slipknot, korn, ministry) and 4:20 is my favorite time of day!

That's all I was trying to say, and for some reason I am the bad guy.

I have to agree with Truelies in that most of what is discribed is so-called pop culture that most people will grow out of.

My culture does not revolve arround "People" or "Entertainment Weekly" or wht the latest fad is.

As someone else mentioned it is BBQs, Family, My Job, My Community and making myself and my world a little better. I dont need some politiction OR some religious fanitic telling me what is evil and what is not.

Maybe its just because I live in a small town but I really dont see the problem if you are dumb enough to be taken in by MTV or center your life arround on-line porn there is not much hope for you to begin with.

Like it or not this is STILL the land of the free and you can live your life in as shallow a fashion as you wish. I do not agree with all of it but I will fight for your right to live your life as you see fit as long as it dosent DIRECTLY harm someone else

Look, I am not some wanna be prophet screaming at the street corners.

I am a real person doing something real.

I know it turns you "regular guys" off.

I have tasted all of your vices. I have also spit them all out.

I know what my people are like, I know what they are up to.

But we need to have a higher level of dialogue than BBQ's and weekend dates. If you are not able to rise to this level, then get out of the way.

My call has gone out to those whose who have sufficient virtue and intellect to judge and weigh America. I have learned that many of you do not desire this, and you complain a lot when we try this.

You seem to think that your habits are just a-ok-fine, your beer, your occasional bong hits, your whatever. You guys aren't the ones I am talking to. I am talking to people who desire righteousness, who desire judgment, and who are willing to attain them.

Not all Americans like to sit around the TV and drink beer, and not all Americans have value systems that make it ok to chase women and talk useless gossip all day. I am trying to restart that sense of righteousness in those who listen. I get crap from all sorts of brainless apes calling me a prophet, or just plain insulting, and I just wanna beat the crap out of them sometimes.

I know I am going to offend a lot of you, because I don't think that the typical American lifestyle you live is good or virtuous. I think it is evil, and I think that it causing great harm to the world.

I love my people. I love my nation. I want you to remember what it is like to be free of evil things. To be free of ignorance. To be able to judge matters wisely, without fear of violence from your peers who are merely afraid of being seen for what they are. For fear of uncovering their lies, their gross sins, and their mischief. So that the righteous have power over the wicked, and NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

Those of you who are following my posts around, you are partaking in an old tradition and it comes from Heaven. My words strike chords with my own people because they are truthful and timely, and if you are able to add to them I will love you as brothers.

Quit insulting me, apes. I am going about my natural business, mind ye your own.

Arkaleus.

I know Arkaleus cannot read this because he is a coward and has chosen to ignore my posts. But do you see what I mean? Do you see what kind of fanatic he really is? He has stated he wants to beat the crap out of us apes, LMFAO. Pretty easy to hide behind a computer, cast judgement, and threaten violence. I'll bet in the real world he is a quiet little fella who shys away from a fight, then gets on the computer and lets out his anger. If it makes him feel better, whatever. But he still makes me laugh!

Not to be an a$$hole like everyone seems to think, but because he chooses to insult those of us who are still good people, although we choose to have fun in life. If he was just posting his views that he personally disapproves of certain things, fine. But when somebody responds and says "cool, you are entitled to your views, we are entitled to ours" he goes into biblical-like ramblings, insulting us by calling us wicked slaves, wretched, apes, and wishing our mouths were filled with worms, oh yeah, and he also said we would be covered in the gore of our own wicked government if we do not rise against it. And that's just to name a few things he's posted. I stated before that I thought he may just be some smart@$$ trying to upset us, which may still be the case. I also thought that he may be some Islamic fundamentalist trying to somehow persuade us to hate our culture, being as in the beginning he kept stating how he is an American, and not a foreigner, and he also claimed to be a muslim, which he has since seemed to have backed away from. I don't know what to make of him, but he certainly asks to be singled out.

Hey Ark its me the big ape......LOL

You sound like you would be one of those lighting the fire on the book burning I am talking about on another thread.

Your people?

How many of you are a follower of Ark?

To begin with you dont know # about me and I would match my life against yours any day. I personally dont give a # WHAT your beliefs are but you are indeed entitled to them just as I am mine. I am not the one frothing at the mouth about the evils of drinking a beer and worring about the world not living up to YOUR ideals of what IT should be. I am not the one claiming my words are in the "bibical tradition"

Get over yourself

But you know what?

I will defend your right just as I do theirs. You have just as much right to spew your crap as MTV does.

And any time you wish to beat the crap out of me I will give you the address to my Dojo.

Come on down and teach me a few things

Just courious, what are you gonna do after you pass judgement on the rest of us?

What power over us are you looking for?

How do you intend to obtain this judgement?

These words from heaven you speak of, does God talk directly to you?

Are you and your "followers" gonna lead us to the promised land?

Kinda like an American Taliban?

Is it too late to get my 75 virgins? I hope so I would rather have one naughty hillbilly girl

However, my gift cannot be transmitted in the Dojo.

I am looking for judges and wise thinkers. If you are not one of these, why have you answered my call?

And because these teachings are true, you persecute them. When we gain wisdom, and perspective, we are like them that climb high trees. We know good from evil, and can weigh all matters. What part of this do you find ignorant?

Oh man, if you were have ever read William Gibson stuff, especially the short story "Burning Chrome," you'll see where The Matrix comes from. "Burning Chrome" was written around '85 and perfectly describes The Matrix' signature scrolling green code and the protagonist enters the matrix to hack the superpowered bad guy, Chrome. Trinity was basically Molly from "Johnny Mneumonic" and "Neuromancer." The first Matrix movie did an awesome job of combining a lot of good sci-fi imagery and concepts that while looking good and providing good entertainment were as old as dust. The plot line is the classic hero story wherein a nobody undergoes change overcomes obstacles and beats the bad guys, wins the girl, and gains power. By the time they wrote the sequels they realized how much people were reading into the movie and made really really really cruddy movies.

That may be so, but you sound a LOT like a street preacher.

I am a real person doing something real.

I know it turns you "regular guys" off.

I have tasted all of your vices. I have also spit them all out.

So you're not a regular guy? Well, having no vices would certainly make you irregular. Unfortunately, everything you do is real, and everyone in the world is real, so you're not unique in that regard.

I know what my people are like, I know what they are up to.

But we need to have a higher level of dialogue than BBQ's and weekend dates. If you are not able to rise to this level, then get out of the way.

So... what, are you planning?

My call has gone out to those whose who have sufficient virtue and intellect to judge and weigh America. I have learned that many of you do not desire this, and you complain a lot when we try this.

Who are you referring to when you say 'we?'

You seem to think that your habits are just a-ok-fine, your beer, your occasional bong hits, your whatever. You guys aren't the ones I am talking to. I am talking to people who desire righteousness, who desire judgment, and who are willing to attain them.

Of course everyone desires righteousness. Judgement I'm not a descriptor, but a noun. To live righteously makes sense, but to live... "judgementally?" You're kind of vague.

Sounds like you're really stereotyping Americans. People will call you a prophet because you make broad, sweeping statements in a messianic message. If you're looking to start a religion, go for it. There's a LOT of opportunity in the cult market and you can make a lot of money. "There's a sucker born every minute." PT Barnum.

I know I am going to offend a lot of you, because I don't think that the typical American lifestyle you live is good or virtuous. I think it is evil, and I think that it causing great harm to the world.

Well it's very hard to define 'typical American lifestyle' in a country that's as diverse as America ranging from subtropics to desert to plains to tundra and everything in between with a population of 300 million, many of whom are first or second-generation immigrants. As far as the righteous ruling over the wicked, trust me that only happens in the afterlife because power always corrupts, dictating that to remain pure you must remain powerless and be satisfied with living righteously.

Does anybody else now see what I mean about Arkaleus not sounding like an actual American? He makes alot of major mistakes writing in english, that an actual American would not likely make, and his ramblings sound so much like the BS that spews from Islamic extremists. Not to mention his slip-ups, like in the post above where he says "we" referring to his efforts. I'm sure I'm probably giving him too much credit, he's probably just some jack@$$ yanking our chains.
