See now that is what gets me, how do you know he was a scumbag?

How do you know he had a gun?

When ever a soldier or anyone is killed, their name is not given out until the family are informed. The parents of this individual had to get the information from the papers and the news to hear about it.

I think you need to go rethink whom you are tarnishing with the name scum bag ans get the facts correct first of all.

And another thing. If the police wanted the situation resolved, why did they not take the family inside the police station and talked to them, refusing to do so, added to the volatility.

The thing is, as large scale as it was, it would be hard to take control again, look what happened in Vancouver news.nationalpost.com... almost the same thing, took quite a while to control but it wasn't over race but still a riot is a riot no matter how it boils down and even then with this one the police couldn't even charge everyone who was involved the courts had to throw out a few of the cases, but still, the police in London will face the same issues as the police in Vancouver, they will want to make sure everyone is safe and innocent bystanders aren't attacked.

And so does Industrial Racism within the Police and the Corruption also. Everyone knows the police hands out its own justice where no one can see it. Which can be difficult to prove when it is their word against that individual. If relations had improved, after the 1980's riots there this would have not happened.

The police in that area and other areas in the UK target the black community, why. They are illegally searched, and asked for their ids which by law they should not have to give it.

Sort out the main problem, the relationships between the police and those who live in areas such as this. And also the social problems. then sort out the so called gang groups as you put it.

All i've seen them show of the riot itself are still images of things on fire etc.

Yet something happens in a backwater on the other side of the world and they have video footage of it the blink of an eye!

When that members comments borders on the lines of Racism then yes. The other member has the right to call it. He does not class those who have been born in the UK and whom have lived here all their life's, as English or British. Ignorant in my opinion. But everyone is entitled to their own, I suppose.
