Hello Readers on ATS....
A month or two back i read a post on the Inuit people where they are saying the sun is setting in a different place.

After much debunking from readers in regards to ice melting and what have you , I just felt certain there is some difference also... as we are currently in very testing times in regards to nature.

Anyway..... I was over at my parents house for a family roast sunday dinner, my Dad turned to me at the table and began talking about the sun (dont know how we got onto the subject) . Anyways what he mentioned was that the sun is moving at a different angle from where it should usually sit in the height of summer.
Basicallty we live in Glasgow, Scotland, UK ,

What he told me was that the sun would usually always move begind a tree as we sat at the Garden patio table, This is in the height of summer we are talking about.... Not once has it moved at that angle this year.
It misses the treeline completely , its a lot closer and a lot higher in the sky.
My Dad said maybe like a 25 to 40 degree difference.
It made alarm bells ring as i remembered watching the Inuit thread video, and i hadnt even mentioned this to my dad at all. I then told my Dad about the Forum thread i had seen and he agreed that yes, there deffinetly is a lot happening that we are not told or supposed to know.
Anyways , I never really had a grasp on what my dad was telling me as i had not seen it and therefore it hadnt realy sunk in..... Until.....
I was a over again having dinner on Tuesday 26th July and this time we were sitting out the back garden for our meal at the table. After we had finnished my Mum went inside and we sat and chatted for 15mins , then he told me to look what he meant about the Sun position.

I glanced up and was totally amazed to see what i saw!!!
He was right! The sun has never been in that position for as long as the house has stood!!
I am talking 26 Years here.... So yes... We both know what we are talking about!
The Sun was so so much higher in the sky and also closer than would usually have been the case.
Nowhere near the trees at all.... and i swear these trees have never been 100 ft tall , more like 10 - 15 ft!! lol

There is no way i can comprehend what i saw , the house is solid so go on and try and hit me with sinking ground theories.... It wont cut it believe me!!!

It's good yourself and your father notice things in the world.. But common sense tells me that if the sun had changed position, this couldn't be hidden from the public.. It would be big news and wouldn't be broken to the world by a couple of guys in their back garden in Scotland..(no offence to you)
Alot of people still use the sun alot in their daily lives eg farmers.. Someone would have noticed this a long time ago..

And also what do you mean the elite derroying our planet? They may have control over money, media governments etc.. But the sun is one thing they will never control..

This is interesting, because the other week when I was cycling to work I thought the sun was in an odd spot.

Even more strange is that I had the same thoughts as you, the sun seemed higher in the sky than it usually is in summer. Almost as though it was more north than it should be.

I am based is Portsmouth, which is as far south as you can get without heading to the isle of white, and after paying closer attention, I have definitely noticed this.

Then again, I'm probably just going mad with the lack of summer at the moment!

i know people will try and debunk and what not,
but if your claiming in the height of summer u have recognized where it was in the past and where it is now within a few weeks of the year then theirs not much that can prove you wrong..

I understand that the Elite do not control the sun, I do know however they control ....
Money , War , Media , Technology , Governments to name but a few.
This is what is destoying the planet....with precision useage.
Eg... Wars come from media propoganda....
Events are Covered up via media...
Technology is silenced and used "Against us" and not "For us" via Money buy-outs.....
Any great events yet to unfold are covered up via Media and Money..... The real humans of the planet will never know of any catastrophic events as we are just common civilians used as pawns and dont get accounted for in such events.
I dont know what is coming for Humanity , but i do know .....

Most of the "public" is ignorant and are too busy looking "down" on their mobile phones / ipads / ipods and rarely if ever look "up".

Even when the "public" look "up" do you really think they are going to care or notice the sun or anything has moved position?

You are also forgetting the "silent" majority, people who do notice, but just move on and say nothing, or say it in close circles of say local farmers too etc, they are too busy making living.

My roommate has been saying for a year the sun is in a different place when rising here on the East coast.

I don't know i haven't lived here as long as he has and he sits outside every morning for sunrise with his coffee. He has made a few observations, the top two are the lack of birds that use to blanket the area and the sun's position. He said over the years the birds have lessened in size of the group. They are these white birds, don't know their name but they are all over Florida. He also makes comments on the position of the sun. I have lived here for about two years so I haven't been here long enough to notice the change.

mm this is interesting. I have been away to India (where I'm originally from) for a couple of weeks and there I noticed the sun to be much higher and the sky to be larger than it is here in NZ (where it is currently winter). But from my childhood I remember the sky in India not to be that 'large' and the sun so high. Could just be some light refraction or something but if not then that is weird. Someone should check ancient sun dials and see if they work accurately still or not.

Due to my job i drive alot... i am a site engineer so im always drivng the same roads year in year out, i too have noticed the sun rarley seems to effect my driving as much as it used too, before when i drove certain roads the sun would sit low and i would need to have my sun visor in my car at like 90 degree's so i could see the road, now i can have it all the way back. the sun doesnt shine through my window as much, it also seems hotter, like i know that sounds a starnge thing to say as surley im just mistaken but it certainley does seem warmer in my car than it used to be!

Can you ask someone in india? i know there are alot of old dials there and other sun based measuring devices that were claimned to be incredibly accurate... this should be an easy thing to find out

Actually, there are thousands of people all around the world who have noticed these changes, myself included. I have a thread going about similar things I have noticed in the last several months. Not so much the sun being in a different position, aside from the fact that it rises about an hour earlier than it used too in my area, but the enviornment being completely out of whack! Please note that I am not saying I think this is anything cataclysmic and everything I noted is based on my own perception and opinion. But it certainly is strange when you see Fall foliage in New England at the end of July.

To me the sun appears to be getting larger. I don't know about a position change. This could be due to some haze in the sky due to smoke from coal fired power plants in the far east.

Could be aptmospheric illusions, is it low near the horizon when it is larger?

Does anyone know the location of an old sundial ? Maybe check to see if it is still accurate, should answer it once and for all.

Or maybe ask somone who lives near stonehenge to see if anything has changed.

My guess is the sun is still where it should be, although it is going to be interesting finding out why people are perceiving it to have shifted.

In noticed the same thing a few times recently. First time was around 6 AM EST a couple weeks ago. The sun appeared much higher and larger than usual. It was a very humid day so I just thought somehow it was my eyes playing a trick on me. I also noticed it later that evening. And last night around 6 PM I noiced the same thing. I have no explanation what it could be though. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed.

I hadn't read the other thread mentioned about the sun but this is so weird. I live in the middle of the united stated (Missouri, St. Louis) and my office (rather, cubical) has a window that faces East. I've always been aware of the sun as in the morning it blinds me. This lasts until around 11 am. At which point the sun has risen enough to no longer blind me and starts its trek west. Well, a few weeks ago I noticed that the sun is coming in my space now way more from the north. Which means one of my monitors gets hit, then for a while I'm blinded. But only until 8am or so. Then the sun is so north of where it used to be that the angle of light now only hits my south wall. Something is afoot

My argument isn't empty.. It's common sense.. What about the millions of scientists and astronomers.. Mainstream and amateur..

Do you not think someone would have noticed and leaked the biggest story if all time..

These people who are making observations and noticing the sun is moving.. Are maybe just noticing something that has happened for millennia.. The sun does change position in the sky throughout the year.. It's what gives us seasons..
The only sure why to find out if the sun is in a different position, is to find something showing the position of the sun in the sky, exactly one year ago and compare it to where it is today..

Just thought a quick mention in reply to your post is needed.
My Mum also has 3 apple trees in the Garden..... One Large (circa 20ft) and two small (circa 4ft)
They are all looking fairly doomed this year.
The large one has maybe 3 tiny apples compared to around 150-200 usually . Its not looking healthy at all!
Very strange indeed and this year is the only time that has happened.
I know this is not a horticultural website so i wont ask for tips!
...Thought i would mention though
