sounds vague and muddled. I still dont know any specifics and how ddos is the answer. theres plenty poeple involved in political movements already. i think anon lack focus & a gunuine cause to rally round. just my opinion tho

I don't remember when I found it, sometime late last year. I like computers and was doing some reading at Infosec Island and came across some articles that led me to the blog.

I don't know what is gospel and what isn't. He states that he is ex military and that his XerXes is not a gov't sponsered project. If he is connected to any kind of agency or has LE connections, I don't know.

well if these guys get traced & caught so easily they can't be that smart or maybe they are its just the FBI is smarter. I guess we will have to wait and see what the charges are.

a ddos is a digital protest as opposed to analog... ddos is the same as an anolog sit in. It is a form of protest and dissent... In all its forms activism can be a very politicaly empowring tool for people....

You guys are silly. Silly Silly Silly. Do you really think members of Anon launch DDoS attacks from their own machines????? They launch DDoS attacks from YOUR computer. Whoever you are reading my post right now, you probably have some malware or spyware on your box right now that could be used to gain access to your machine so it can be used in a DDoS attack. That attack will get traced back to your IP, your ISP and then your MAC (not the Steve jobs computer) address. They know who did it and what machine in your house was used for it. These kids probably went sniffing and trolling on 4chan, exposed their IPs which were sniffed and scanned for open ports.

Their machines were compromised and used by Anon in a DDoS attack. And guess what? This is also exactly why it is impossible to prosecute suspected hackers - it wasn't them! Their machines were compromised.

Prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the kid was sitting at his keyboard launching the DDoS attack personally.

Go read about the old couple who were implicated in a DDoS attack. Their wireless network was compromised and it was used to launch a DDoS attack by a neighbor.

You are correct maam. If I had been a German, and living under Hitler;yes, I would have been part of killing the Jews. I mean what are we without laws? What are we without rules? I'm sure a lot of German soldiers were haunted till they died over what they helped do, but it was what they were ordered to do. I'm sure many cops lose sleep over things, maybe even lawyers, prosecutors, judges etc, etc. But you have to follow laws, and rules. Sometimes logic is there, but is defeated by the law.

You know that judge wanted to nail Casey Anthony on anything he could, but he couldn't do anything because the Law was spoken and it said Not Guilty. Nothing we can do, or him.

I'm not perfect, but I tell you this, when a police officer tells me to shut up, I do. When a State Trooper tells me to stay back behind the line, I do. I respect the law, not so much them. We must hold true all things great, the law is not perfect, but its what we have, and its all we have.

These guys knew what they done was against the law. Now I understand some of them may have really thought it was just cool and fun. I give the little ones credit; however, if found guilty, they should get the max penalty.

bud there are lots of things peeps can get caught for and depending on what you are doing it is not so easy to cover your tracks. These peeps may have been from the masses doing the ddos attacks. When using such attacks you cannot hide behind a proxy. They know whom you are and your only kind of safe becuase of the big numbers of you.

There are no Anonymous Hackers, it's the CIA using script kiddies as patsies to further their agenda to usurp the internet from the people by orders of Jay Rockefeller. You know it's the govern ment behind Anonymous because 1) They are Anonymous (can't be traced...yet for some reason ..WE CAN and the patsies can) 2) it is terrorism which is a CIA project in general...its what they do. 3) it will ultimately take the internet from the people or at least suppress any real use for the internet other than commerce. Anonymous is the CIA, don't be fooled by all of these lies. Anonymous is hurting our freedom....not championing the people. we dont know how they were caught. I dont know if you read about the guy whos website was getting ddos'ed. He found the IRC channel it was launched from, he broke the password hid in the channel, logged everything the OP was doing then revealed himself and asked him to tell the script kiddies to stop attacking his website. If he can do that so can the feds.

some peeps use bots some peeps use their own machine. It is activism, the same as sitting on a road knowing you can be arrested...I have done both they are politcal statements.Maybe if more peeps stood up and where counted.. Less would be arrested..

The problem is most people arn't willing to break the law, in western countries there are legitimate ways to raise issues. the mob doesnt rule. Also their activism can be counter productive to their cause becuase of the potential collateral damage they can do which can annoy ordinary people.

it will be interesting to see what these people who have been arrested have actually done. If theyre controlling big botnets and lauching attacks theyre in a whole load of trouble.

hey if people feel that stronngly about something and want to do this then fine. But if you can't do the time don't do the crime.
