Tried Islam, it didnt work out, thinking of converting to Judaism.

Thanks for all the tips! However I tried Islam for a couple of weeks and the thing is, it didnt really work out very well. I am now considering swapping Islam for Judaism to give that one a try. I figure I need to at least allow a couple of weeks to give it a fair chance.
Islam and I had a few disagreements, mainly about my fornicating alcoholic lifestyle.
Anyone else have any experience of conversion from Islam to Judaism? Any tips or tricks that would help the transition would be much appreciated.

You cant become a Jew afaik, you have to be born one, same as Hinduism. But i find it funny when you say you tried islam for a few weeks, that made me chuckle.

You need to find your own spiritual path dude.

in religion. Seek out knowledge and wisdom in life,

Why don't you just try being human...

I don't see why people need a Religion to function in life.

Is it the feeling of belonging to a community of people who share similar beliefs?

Christians annoy me because they portray themselves as helping and loving, but at the end of it all they are helping people because they believe that they are going to heaven for it... A human being would help someone just because they are human.

You don't have to have faith to feel you belong! You are part of the 7 billion strong!

How could Islam not work out? You can rape and beat women, and kill anyone who doesn't convert to your religion. And you get 72 virgins when you die. Maybe you just need to try harder.

Religion + People = War

Subtract religion from War...and your left with People.

Engaging behaviors (rituals, etc) in order to try and induce the opening of the Door so as to dwell with the Presence is opposite and will not work. Instead, once the Door is opened and you are in the presence, your behaviors will modify.

Tried religion. It didn't work. Thinking of trying basic common sense, reason and logic while fully admitting that science doesn't, at this time, have all the answers but also understanding that doesn't mean some jewish zombie carpenter or other absurd notion makes any real sense to someone with half a brain.

I guess that is a fair question. Religion is big business. I believe this generation of religion has openly showed us what they are all about. Greed. Even if I was a big fan of religion, I don't think I could call my self a worshiper of something. Let go man, free your mind. Why bind yourself to the rules of some dead dudes who don't mean #. Follow your moral compass and enjoy life without having the wool over your eyes. Believe in today and that it is what you make of it. You know it's down there, don't let them distract you. Dig into all the basements of the religious houses of Earth and you may be amazed at what horrible truths come to light. Don't be afraid.

Hi, as you know Islam has a lot of different sects.

How about you follow the Islam of prophet muhammed and his family, you know his family, the imams whom the power was hijacked from as soon as the prophet died. his family, of whom most were killed along with their children. His family who were oppressed and suppressed by the fake caliphates. Islam was not to be spread by the sword until the prophet died and the caliphate was hijacked. they then spread the wrong islam and modified whatever they wished, but the true religion didnt die, the household of the prophet sacrificed themselves for the religion to live, and today its alive. the final imam will redeem it.

Get real, stick to something for a realistic length of time. You know that to become a Jew you'll have to take classes, you'll be refused up to 3 times by the Rabbi and after that you'll have years of work to convert. Seriously like, a few weeks really?
