Unusual Preparations at the CDC?

If something is coming in and has certain attributes which are known to be harmful it does make sense because if worst case scenario happens the 3 agencies would need to work together through coordinated efforts. If this is only the Us, it is strange, but if it is worldwide scary.

I have read here for a few months how NASA has been warning its employee's to stock up. They are not the only ones.

Thank you for this information, it will give me the kick in the butt I need to restock inventories on the home front and remain vigilent.

There was a thread here on ATS a couple of months ago that as far as I know hasn't been debunked and if the threat actually materialized would involve the coordination and cooperation of NASA, CDC, and DOD. www.abovetopsecret.com...
As far as the IMF, funds would be needed on a global scale for less wealthy countries to deal with the threat. I'm not saying this is the answer, I'm just saying a threat like this would meet the criteria.

according to the information provided this could have been a message to get prepared for.. employee paid vacation to disney world, an incoming comet that will devastate Earth as we know it or anything in between those two.

the likelihood of what it could be could have relevance to the nature of the security surounding the discussion, who was being informed and who wasn't etc etc..

it is doubtful that the message was the same message NASA introduced to all of it's employees, in my opinion, because that message was generally treated with little thought, it has been E-mailed to employees, seen by their families and uploaded to youtube as well as other places on the net .. the nature of this however tends to make one feel like this comes from 'inside information'

all in all i still think that just that amount of information could mean anything. in these days, with current economic futures that nearly ensure problems, america upscaled in it's war efforts in the middle east area, provoking thoughts on the earth's tilt changing, comet elenin - among others - reaching close to us in the coming months.. i think i could go on but my point should be clear.

thanks for posting what your friend told you and thanks for correctly posing your attitude on the subject. who knows this could be something major, could be nothing - but you posted it in the right place.

I too am not a conspiracy theorist, nor a fear mongering type of person, but by golly let's get out them thar shotguns!

Maybe this is anew private warning that was issued and since the CDC is involved maybe this has to do with that thread about negative blood types affected by extraterrestrial threat. Just a theory on cOnnecting some dots

Since the CDC is the Center for DISEASE Control, I would think if they are preparing for something it would relate to a major health issue. I would also think if it were something imminent and catastrophic that an IT guy with a government security clearance would be the one setting things up and not a contractor with conspiracy theory tendencies..just my opinion

I suppose the doubt I have here is how he was asked to leave the room but later on was "allowed" to stay and see this livestream from NASA meant only for higher ups in CDC - doesn't add up to me.

Hi I personally watched two short warning films from NASA to it's 'family' leaked onto You Tube. Both were advising preparedness for disasters. Both came out within two weeks of each other and the second one was more serious it described typical preparations given to Nuclear events as in...stay in room without windows,shut off ventilation systems that used outside air etc. I dismissed the first film as the everyday 'be ready for anything stuff' but the second film coming out so soon after the first and the somewhat heavier tone made me post it up.
I am very critical of scaremongering too but I admit this made me sit up and take notice.

Wasn't NASA up at the Great Lakes recently? Maybe something in the water that the CDC would be interested in? Sure I've read something saying that the Lakes are becoming more polluted, and damaging free radicals attack DNA and alter/mutate the organism. So something originally waterbourne, becoming airbourne?.
An E. coli laboratory strain became airbourne by itself...which is unusual as it literally evolved out of what defines it to be 'E.coli' in the first place....

They may have known about ELENIN as early as April 2009. The attached link shows massive storms occuring on Saturn in April 2009.

I suspect NASA, CDC, FEMA etc have been in preparations for some time.

Maybe they are discussing the possibility of the budget shutdown? All the agencies hearing about the possible effects that may happen to them? That's all I could think of for all those agencies to get together. With that kinda video, not sure why those particular agencies would be conferencing, sounds like your friend may be talking about the video posted by someone else, or trying to convince you of his own theories by combining two different things he has seen?

If there was a huge event coming, or some kind of extinction level event, I'm not entirely sure Nasa would care about advising people to draw up a "PET PREPARDENESS PLAN"

Well, if it something is going to come already, for Christs sake, let's get on with it. The waiting is killing me. I want to see some action.

I was at the supermarket, people are stocking up on water and bleach [1 cart was full of 14 containers of bleach ] .

Posters have expressed doubt as to why the IMF would fit in with the rest of the alphabet soup listed how about if it's not that IMF but the International Maritime Force currently at anchor or patrolling off the coasts of Yemen and Somalia and the "new ocean".

It is my belief that if the Government(USA and Other Countries) were aware of some sort of event and didn't want the general population to know about it they would continue "business as ususal" to a point.

Then suddendly, without warning...abruptly stop. Just as if everyone decided to go on Vacation. No Social Services Offices open, no upper level management able to get in touch with higher ups or Directors, High Level Administrators, Leaders of Congress..basically all the leadership levels because they would have "bugged out" in advance of "whatever" was going to happen.

If that happens everyone would know because we would "be on our own" so to speak.
It's just like a Military Operation....If you decide to initiate a bombing campaign, you will make sure yousend word to those on the front lines to withdraw your own people from the area before it starts...

I think a redundant command post or communications node linking multiple important agencies would probably be something they'd want to have at the ready regardless of whether or not any sort of disaster was imminent. Could it simply be contingency planning? Did he indicate whether the setup seemed temporary, designed for imminent use, or more general in nature? I'd honestly be surprised to learn they don't keep such systems up and running just in case, regardless.
