I wouldnt be surprise if some people are posting # here and getting paid for it. ATS gets A LOT of hits per month on the internet and it is well known.

Start thinking for yourself for once. You are just repeating what Fox News, CNN are talking about. Even BBC started to say that Norway bombings were done by Muslims without any evidence, even here people said that.

Now people related Muslims with terrorism well, EVERYTHING UNFORTUNATELY CHANGED THIS WEEKEND. The world is not "evil" and "good" but a good mixture and gradiation of boths.

How many Muslims are in the world? around 1.5 billion? So 1.5 billion people are terrorist?

You have done nothing but make unsubstantiated and unsupported claims and accusations, you have made no attempt at reasoned debate, failed to respond to any questions asked of you and have insulted and tried to verbally attack anyone who had the audacity to disagree with you and who attempts to enter reasoned but respectful debate and discussion.

I have never ignored anyone during my time here on ATS, and despite being close to ignoring you on a couple of occassions, I have no intention of starting now.
It is a free and open site and I will continue to post whenever moved to and when I feel I may have something to offer and I will continue to try and respect T&C at all times.

Despite it's faults ATS is still a great site which I enjoy, despite the apparent increase in narrow minded bigots like yourself.

Little 14 year old reading all these anti-Muslim messages, gets an inaccurate image of a people in his mind, emotions build up over the years, then, in time we got another killer on our hands.

So all these arguments that are based in nothing more then xenophobia...need to go. You can keep them here but remember, people are waking up and are starting to view things a little more like people as I do. They will maybe tolerate your hate filled arguments a little more until their effects are more known. You are right, and that is part of the problem. People believe what they read, and see and hear on the news.

I think, to sum this thread up, I would say that the statement: "UK Gets First Sharia Controlled Zone" is misleading and incorrect. This was a small minority of Muslims who were causing trouble, they are extremists and do not represent the voice of Islam in the UK.

When I first read about this report I was angry, as were a lot of people. We should be angry at the extremists, not the majority of Muslims.

I will say this again, I am married to a Muslim and I am a Catholic. Everyone in the community loved the fact I was Catholic because it "united two religions" Of course I do get questions like: "Would you convert?" but its only one or two out of 100 people from the community. It is not everyone.

He is not a believer of multiple wives, as he is from a DIFFERENT ISLAMIC SCHOOL and therefore, he was not teach that. There are only two men in the community who have 2 wives and it was the WIFE idea as they were good friends and the other one needed support. These was very criticised in the community and a lot of people rejected this idea, because it was against there community laws. At the end of the day, it was accepted because it was THEIR DECISION.

If you want to talk so much like you know everything about Sharia Law, there are 4 different Islamic schools, therefore different teachings, there are some more severe than others and Muslims usually do not like the other one because it's more liberal/conservative than theirs. My husbands school is Shafi (Sunni) and it is not has one of the most liberal and less severe:

I love my husband and I love we have different background with very similar values and morals specially family ones, he is one of the most spiritual people I have known. We have Buddhist friends, Catholic friends, Jewish friends and even Atheist friends and we do not argue about their views and we all respect our believes.

England didn't do any of those things. It really grates me when only England gets the blame for what the UK did. Some of the biggest imperialists we have ever had were actually Scots, but no, England gets all the blame and Scotland gets off like it was a victim itself...

The Muslims in Al-Andalus were clean, were civilised, built one of the first universities and libraries in Europe, they discovered many things and I can go on forever... They had an amazing system there. Europe got very much influenced from them, like it or not!

I and others are also not anti-immmigrant either. You seem to have confused yourself.

Our problem is not with immigrants (I work with and get on very well with a South African, a Ghanaian, a Zimbabwean and several Arabic muslims), but rather with a select group of immigrants who seem to take it upon themselves to try and impose the way of life from their now backward nations in a modern, liberal Democracy where the vast majority of people, from all creeds and religions, do not desire it. But they do not care and people of that ilk will not be happy until everyone submits to Sharia, regardless of their race or religion.

History is irrelevant in this debate and you are barking up the wrong tree in a totally different forest.

So the question is, what are they trying to impose?

On Street Drinking is banned in many UK bylaws.

Where is it that you live that you think that on street drinking would be acceptable?

(this point in no way addresses my dislike for ANY gang deciding they may set up their own districts and inforce their own regulations in any area.)

Well, it is in some form, but not the twisted, hate filled form that these peeps seem to want to propogate. This particular flavour of Islam/Sharia is the product of Wahabbi extremists, which only form a small part of modern Islam.

For those that want to generalise, it's like judging all Christians on the actions of a small Baptist sect in the USA.

I agree on that.

I was not saying that everyone think like that but many people through the 30 pages of this topic have said that, All Muslims, blah blah blah.

Many countries do not have Sharia Law and please, Muslims represent less than 3% of the population of the UK, why would the goverment even pass a law that can only benefit 3% of the people?

That would be completely stupid.

They do not even agree on the basic facts of our education or health that represents everyone of us and they going to pass laws because of religion...

Some Muslims don't even agree in having Minarets. Minarets are not really Islamic... so, a lot fo Muslims do agree than when people come here and they behave like back in their country, they do not like it.

When the law in France about banning vails covering faces was passed, a lot of Muslims I know were in favor of this law. In the Quran is pointed out that the woman can cover their face as choice. Also, they agree with it because is not a very European way of living. Just like when you go to Saudi, you cannot wear clothes that reveal from your knee down and elbows below.

If he was drinking it while walking then I agree he shouldn't drink in public as it is not really allowed. In my area is not allowed and people still do it and I get a lot of drunkies around here with beer bottles everywhere the next morning.
