I couldn't make it that far in. You're right about the other, I noticed you had already posted by the time I got there to correct it.

Every time I see this topic come up (again), I always think about that "Newlyweds Game" classic where they ask the wife which direction the sun comes up in their neighborhood - not one said "east", and at least one said "west".

Seriously, get something as simple as a Farmer's Almanac - get one that's older than dirt - and it'll still be right. Nothing's changed. If you suddenly torqued the Earth over so that the axis was pointing a different direction, the crust would rip. I spent some time trying to find out what the energy input is for tilting the spin axis of a rotating uniform sphere and was surprised to find it degenerated into tensors. Blech.

I find it extremely difficult to accept science from someone who has no teeth. If their dental plan is that bad, I can only imagine what the state of their "science" is. Maybe if we dance around a fire it will rain, and all will be well again. Now THAT is science!

What gets me is that everyone has clung to the pole shift part and totally ignoring the actual subject of the movie.

Global warming/climate change.

I have a feeling most who are carrying on about this being a pole shift are also big deniers of global warming/climate change.

They're just not seeing the forest from the trees.

No, I think that the ones squalling about a pole shift are AGW believers, but they're believing that evil man has CAUSED a pole shift by pollution. The ones that aren't also confusing a magnetic pole shift with an axial pole shift, that is.

Yes, especially because of the ice. Once it starts melting at an alarming rate we know were in deep ****.

I don't know what changed, but five years ago I charted and recorded the settings of my solar panels. I did change my solar panels 15 Deg more to the North this year. I set the them at 333 Deg NW when installed. I changed them just yesterday to 348 Deg NW, because the sun is setting further north now. I never changed the direction of them until now. I'm in Central NM.

Does anyone here speak Inuit?

How do we know thats what they're really saying and not something invented along with whatever they're saying?

You'll find that peaked about June 21, and now it'll set further south every day until it's dead on west on September 22.

Change is good. My climate has been very good recently. The guy in the video said towards the end that the east wind is bad but now behaves like the north wind, which is good. So it doesn't sound like "a warning" at all because the Intuit people get two hours of shooting time in the morning and that's good for them.

Of course this spinning ball will be effected. ...and they say Humans are supposed to be an intelligent species....right.

I agree, and pumping water can also affect the earth, for example the San Joaquin Valley in California has sunk 30 feet, and many other cities are also sinking due to drilling and removing fluids from the earth. Land can also rise if the snowpack is melting, for example Michigan is still rising from the melting of the last glaciers. Maybe this is changing the way things look, due to the land rising or falling. Along with everything else.

I did account for that when I installed them. but never had moved them 15 degrees more north. I installed these 5 years ago. I set the program for the panels to follow then Sun to 333 deg NW that is where then sun was setting for the last five years. now I increased it the program by 15 more degrees this week. It would be nice if that program could print a chart out for the last five years now that would be interesting to see. It's just strange though because my neighbor is a solar junkie, he has panels on the roof and in the yard, any anyplace he could install one. he moved all of his panels also. he has a solar business for the last 20 years. The weather patterns have also changed in NM and is was very extreme for the past 3 months, not to mention this month as well. So something has changed; just what it is I'm not sure what though but it's beyond your basic sun setting by seasons.

I've lived in my house for 10 years now, and my house faces north. Ever since I moved in, sometime in the 2nd week of May, the sunlight would cause havoc on my garage door sensors. This year, it happened the exact same as it has the past 10 years.

My conclusion: Everything is the same as it has been.

I wonder if anyone on ATS has access to a sundial.

Surely, if the Earth's axis has changed, wouldn't everyone's sundials need re-calibrating?

Well i do know where a super sun dial is and very high tech. but I don't think the national lab will give me access to it or the super computer it's connected to. The state of NM has Super computer with all kinds of models, but will cost me 5000 per hour to use it. Maybe the ancient Indian villages here have one set up that might be free.

You all know that the scientific community is under control of corporations right? The government shut down NASA just to insult the private community of space exploration. What do you think the X project was about? NASA used that as an excuse to steal the normal workman's ideas for their own. Funny how NASA switched to helium all in one week. They have better success in sending object's to space with a balloon. I hope this english is good enough for you to understand.
