Hey there,

This photo was taken at the backyard of my house. This picture just freaked me out when I saw it.
Tell me guys what you think of it.

Before we rush that it is unidentified:

Sun set? Defocused camera making the sphere look like ellipse?
The moon? Also defocused?

Does it stay or did it move? Should've made a video.

I agree that a video would have been better; but if it is 'defocusing' as you suggest, I would expect more deformation of the trees. However, could also have been altered afterwards of course.

I guess it's unidentified untill it's identified. Untill then.. It's still unidentified.

When there are no pictures, we say... No picture, no proof.

Guess you're raising the bar now... Got a picture.. No video, no proof. Next time it'll be, no contact, no proof.

....till finaly.. No anal probe.. No proof.

Hey OP, Good pic. That looks pretty wild. Wonder what it is.

Any additional information about how ya stumbled on it? How long it stayed around, how fast it moved.. etc

What's the story?

New user with a shameful plug of their own personal website..

I'm sure that's against t&c's

I have to agree with you here. Just signed up today, and then first thread is a link to his own website.

Surely that is a transgression.

Also regarding the photo, more information regarding the picture, when, where, climate, atmospheric conditions etc, would be very helpful.

Some people seem to see UFO's on a regular basis... and some never see any.

Ceiling light would be my guess too.

Did you see it AND THEN take the photo or
take the photo and then noticed it?

By the way, pretty photo all in all.

Pink at night, fisherman's delight.
Pink in the morning, fisherman's warning.

I agree.

That's what I thought of as soon as I saw the pic.

Thats a plausible theory. It looks almost flat at the top of the picture.

Can I see the whole, unedited picture?

Second.

Bullcrap, and it's only going to get worse. There's a website in the Netherlands that promotes this hogwash and it is creating more and more victims every day. There are also nut jobs who outright lie to people about seeing lights and this and that...

HOGWASH.

Get away with your fake UFO and spirituality phenomenons and let the people focus on what is actually going on. Namely, world war 3 being plotted by religious nut jobs.

Oh and another question: What did you do to the EXIF data of the photo? It is missing crucial parts and I know for a fact a Canon Digital IXUS 80IS writes this metadata.

No, your not seriously asuming this is a UFO or something out of this world???

I recon you go to your local Specsavers and get your eyes tested. I dont want to offend you, but come on? Do you ever get outside your house, have you never seen a MOT fly?? Cause what you have here on your photo is only a MOT, not a bright limunous object from out of space, just a simple mot flying around a tree to get some food. Notice that the centre of the "object" is massive and the edges left and right are somewhat transparent. That is because the centre is the body of a mot, and the edges are the wings flapping hard enough that for you it looked like an disk shaped object not out of this world..

I'm no debunker or shill, i'm a photographer myself and have seen things like this before. Nothing special really!.

I'm really surprised to see, that actually no-one yet has identified this as a mot, don't you people ever go outside of your basements???

Well guess some people want to see things so badly that they block a little thing called skeptisism, wich is a really good thing to have, so you wont mistake a MOT with a UFO (Refering to Flying Saucer/Not Earth bound life).

I did once, but the light hurt my eyes.

I think it was taken indoors and is a reflection of a ceiling lamp.

I do not believe it is a moth, I have seen moths.

Nailed it for my money there Gortex, right on the nail! My first impression on seeing the photo was indoor light, and was about to say as much until I saw your post! Star for you my friend!

this pic was taken outside and it was too early for the moon. Besides I noticed the UFO after I went through the photos
