It was Jaws.

I had a blue bedspread. Imagine waking from a Jaws nightmare only to find yourself half eaten by the blue bedspread.

Eaten Alive! About this crazy hotel keeper that kept a pet alligator and fed unsuspecting guests to it. Saw it at a driven double feature. While a B slasher movie the way they did the photography just caught you off guard every time. That alligator haunted my dreams for weeks, snapping at me from every dark space in my room. Keep your closets closed people, they are doorways to darker places.

Growing up in a home were the parents loved horror flicks, I suprisingly never had nightmares as a kid.....

...and then there was "Strangers" Holy ish! that movie scared the hell out of me! My wife had to wake me several times out of nightmares after watching that.....

This movie was disgusting and wrong. Not for the faint...

I've been debating on watching that one.

I was told about this movie by a guy who warned me: "you'll regret watching it"...but I watched it anyway. Not so much scary, just disturbing.

Several movies give me nightmares. They include movies that display life events that "could" actually happen. The Manson movie, the original Changeling and other moves about real life events scare the heck out of me. The real monsters in the world have the face of a human being.

Not sure if it was meant to be a horror flick, but Fire in the Sky did it for me.

It came out when I was about 12 years old and since then I have been freaked

out by the "grays". I know the movie didn't depict the aliens in that classical appearance

of them, but DAMN, I still get freaked out just thinking about them.

www.imdb.com...

The Ring hasn't exactly given me nightmares, but I'd definitely say it was a head flipper.

I remember getting really freaked out by "The Ring". I watched at the theatre with my girlfriend and was totally freaked out all night. In fact, I don't think I slept a wink that night because I was staring a hole through the television in my bedroom.

YOU TOO!!!!!

I thought I was the only one who freaked out over that scene

I say the film that probably did it for me was Pumpkinhead. I was 10 when I seen that movie and 25 years on I still cannot go into a dark room with blinds or curtains open. Can't do it.

When I was growing up my Uncles made me watch movies like 'Child's Play'. I can't remember too much, but my Grandma said I used to wake up screaming and crying all the time.

The movie doesn't bother me too much anymore, though.
