Ive seen a few "police misbehaving" posts increasing over the last ____ months..
I think the police force might be the middle men between all of us..... and the Rothschild, Rockerfellers, the IMF and all the other corrupt, ill-intentioned powers-that-be. I think they will start manifesting the symptoms of our problems, even though they are not the source.... I believe our problem is belief, that "I" am seperate from "you", seperate from nature, seperate from God,,, The greatest lie(s) ever told.

Plz if u want some amazing "red pill" material, read "mary elizabeth croft", read "the power of now" and "a new earth
" by ekhart tolle. A course in miracles, Conversations with God. Please do, I want YOUR help, I need Your help, and so do the rest of the people who understand what I just said.

excuse me if this post was not as pure as it could be, I've had a few beers..

Are police in the United States really this stupid???

I have a question...

being not a US citizen I want to understand if this violent behavior of the american police forces is something that is increasing just within in the last years or are these some random acts of individuals and the internet is only highlighting every single case and blowing it up out of proportion?

these cases make the United States look like the worst police state (more like Nazi Germany) and tbh I'm not willing to believe that... I am visiting my family in the states almost every year and never ever experienced or even witnessed anything similar...

Yes, but not all of them. They are being militarized here and the young rookies are just hoppin to use their super powers. There's a special place in hell reserved for those who abuse their powers.

Isn't it frightening where people can shoot and kill and and do whatever they want without any fears of punishment or consequences? We call those people the police in America

Yep... and if you think this is bad, back in the 70's it was real bad when the cops would wait on the outskirts of the rez and wait for Native women to be coming back onto the rez late at night from being in town. They would pull them over and get them out of their cars and beat and rape them. And God help the women who were walking, or had car troubles. So many cops back then got away with it too because it couldn't be proven.

I think that police really need to watch how they use their tazers. ..as well as how far they push their power.

I honestly feel bad for the decent cops, because this kind of behavior just feeds the public distrust, and hate for police.

At some point , there will be some serious retaliation , and unfortunately the decent cops will have to be in the middle of it.

These cops need to be taken off the force...if they can't communicate in a more effective manner .

The best cops I've seen are ones that don't let their egos get in the way, and actually understand human nature ,and how to get people to cooperate with them , in a respectful way.

How is this any different then what a sales person does?

A cop is just a human doing a job, this entire "us and them" idea is what's causing all the problems to begin with..

These guys can't be anything else but brainwashed goonsquads and don't have ANYTHING to do with real officers of the law. Just a bunch of power hungry highschool bully's without diploma's who had no other choice then to go where they can continue their old habits on the job and get payed for it too, the police force.

It's getting kinda hard for us outsiders with the amount of stories like these pouring out of the USA.

Yeah these types of stories need to be brought to light but this doesnt represent the majority. Those 2 are far from what it means to put on the badge. My problem is why all cops are bashed in these threads. Law enforcement is a thankless job that has a high rate of divorce, suicide, and die on average 5 years after retirement. More cops die each year in the line of duty than these types of stories come out. I just don't understand why alot of people hate cops but never have a negative experence personally. There are around 700,000 employed in the US. Numbers game alone says there are going to be horror stories like this.

It is a vicious circle, as respct has to be earned and how can they expect anyone to respect police in general, when they do such unforgivable things to people ? They will even arrest you for trying to stop them from beating someone senseless, how long will it be before they taser someone with a pacemaker fitted and they die ?

PS. The officer knew that the boy had a learning difficulty before he attacked him !

Of course it isn't all cops.

But cops are a group of people that the govt gives extraordinary rights and privileges to in order to collect money from the common citizens.

They are a group that has all those extra rights in common and they also have an attitude that is pervasive in that group. They are better, they are right (even when they are wrong) and they can and will beat you if they think you are not submitting to their will.

If 50% of the many cops that I know personally (and have known in the past) were good guys that actually tried to 'walk the straight and narrow' , ie: Practice what they ENFORCE, then I might not have bad presumptions about cops that I don't know.

But unfortunately, over 90% of the cops I have been familiar with are not good guys.

Yes but I think that is 25 thousand for each count in the paper right? no all counts to be higher than 25 thousand. I could be wrong.

from what i interpret through reading the document, is that each charge against the officers is NO LESS than 25k.
total amount is at least $275k if all charges incur a guilty ruling, then you add in Lawyer fees, cost of this action(filing the paperwork), and such other and further relief(i'm guessing therapy, etc) entitled to the plaintiffs(jesse/family) as seen relevant by law or in equity.

How horrible this must have been for the family to watch un-fold before thier eyes.

I'll be honest. I haven't read anything other than the first OP thread opening. I didn't want to even see the cop defenders yet.

Okay. Let me see what took place in this thread. I'm curious to see if the "un-flag" option is needed in this one. By the looks for things so far, I don't think that will be needed.

S&F for bringing it to the ATS forum for review.

To all those who say "not all cops are bad" etc...

Any so called "good" cop who stands by and watches or ignores what a "bad" cop is doing or fails to report his/her fellow workers for what they KNOW is wrongful behavior is a BAD COP themselves.

When they start policing eachother with the same vigor that they police the public, that's when there will (once again) be good cops.
