From another post to me.

You wrote:

["It appears to me being alive on this planet now about 60 years that all of the things going on are more frequent and getting more intense like labor pains."]

I'm older than you, and also feel the allurement of: "It was better before"; and ofcourse it's nice to be querulous, one of my favourite pastimes since I was a child.

Fortunately I can, on good days, temper it with some rational thinking, so it doesn't lead me into the trap of including sky-daddies. Especially not a sky-daddy who, if his mythic description is anything to go on, obviously are of demonic origin. What with all the bloodthirst, genocide, schizoism, tantrums and control-freakish-ness.

If I absolutely HAD to choose something to believe in without evidence, I believe, I would settle for the flying spaghetti monster or the absolute existence of Nirvana.

Quote: ["I believe Jesus is about to come back soon. With the middle East on fire and the threats to kill the jews, I see God's intervention coming when things continue to heat up."]

You see, what you want to see or are conditioned to see.

Quote: ["World War Three has already begun in my opinion. With another great depression coming, War comes right behind. Full scale."]

Apart from ww 1&2 Europe has never seen so much blood and misery, as when most of it practically was a christian theocracy.

Quote: ["Russian Missles are still aimed at the US."]

And US still plays world-police.

Quote: ["For the most part people in this country have gotten fat and lazy."]

Which undoubtly is unhealthy, but hardly directly associated with degrees of holiness.

Quote: ["People have turned their back on God and His righteousness."]

You keep referring to this mythological entity, as if his existence is a fact. Shouldn't his existence be validated, before you ascribe qualities to him, which you then try to enforce on other people?

Quote: ["People in this World are selfish."]

The best functional ethical systems we have, are actually found in secular, liberal, egalitarian socities, which take care of the weak, young, old and its minorities. Those who want to be ethical in a special holy way can also do that, on the condition that they don't try to manifest it practically in a fascistic extra-parliamentary way.

Priceless. And to what do you attribute your "ignorants"?

Sorry pal I don't subscribe to those religious shenanigans, there are just too many flaws that I cannot get past. People's religion is based heavily on where they were brought up and what the people around them believe in, there are too many religions for me to pick one and assume it's the right one, there is absolutely no proof to support the existence of a higher power, and the Bible is filled with lies. To be completely honest I think a good portion of people are scared to die and use religion and the afterlife as false hope to dissuade them from the fact that when the brain shuts off, thoughts are not processed so you cannot understand what is happening around you, meaning that you are dead and that's it for you. Enjoy your time that you have alive and don't shape your personality and lifestyle off of a book that was written thousands of years ago, do what you want to do and what you think is right.

However when December 21, 2012 rolls around, lots of wacky things are going to go down. The earth ends it's 26000 year precession cycle on that day, our Sun will line up on the plane of the galactic center which contains a supermassive black hole, most of the planets in our solar system will be aligned, and it will also be the winter solstice. That's just from the astronomical viewpoint, don't forget all of the things happening here on earth. The terrible laughingstock presidential candidates, the wars going on (that's nothing new though), and the unbelievable national debt (which increased from ~5.7 trillion in 2001 to ~14 trillion in 2011). I think the Mayans calender was simply based on astronomical observations, but as time rolls on I can't shake the thought that something big is going to happen on that date.

Mind if I?

1. War [Fear]
2. Rumors of War [Fear]
3. Earthquakes [Fear]
4. Volcanoes [Fear]
5. Floods [Fear]
6. Famines [Fear]
7. Persecutions of Jews and Christians [Fear]
8. Hate [Fear]
9. Murders/Including Abortions [Fear]
10. Gay Pride Parades [Unsubstantiated Fear]
11. Fear [Haha]
12. False Prophets [Fear]

Wars always happen, it's the intention behind the battle, and the reasons for which. That is what's important to consider.

Rumors of war is a form of gossip. Consider the above within the rumors and not much else is necessary.

Earthquakes have happened and will always happen as long as Earth exists. People need to be educated about how to protect one self in the event of an Earthquake as much as possible. Infrastructure needs to accomodate the possibility of Earthquakes so there's room for improvement.

Volcanoes also happen, but aren't much of a threat. Once again, knowledge of what to do, and appropriate evacuation methods need to be known and made available if not for nearby civilization. Trippin about them is pointless, unless you want to go throw a giant plug in the top. Be thankful you're not on a planet that experiences regular solar bursts that force you to hide underground.

Floods: see above.

Jews and Christians, as everyone else are still held to the same universal code which is existing in the same space as one another. If we can't tolerate living amongst one another simply because we have different beliefs about who the "one and only savior" is, then what's the point? Obviously there is no one and only savior, only the possibility of incredible beings. Existence, just like light, is an infinite spectrum. The hate and fear stemming from religions is largely relative and highly fallible. The absoluteness of some religions or the beliefs of some individuals in regard to their own religion or others is also a shame. I can tell you this right now, the religious or other practices of many are indeed digressive and non-conducive to prosperity, but there is always time to change.

Hate is a choice. Hate is a feeling that feeds itself, and if you think it makes you feel good, you're only kidding yourself. There is no true reason for hate, and the reasons that people give to justify their hate range anywhere from thinking someone is a infidel all the way to Cindy having a cuter pair of jeans than Becky, or Dan having a faster car than Jimmy. It's nonsense in an incredibly miserable fashion that can burn many.

Death is an illusion. Murders occur in countless forms. We can only hope that the "hate" that is so unjustified diminishes, and with it, murder. Abortions are unfortunate and people should be educated and wise enough to avoid getting pregnant unless they feel they are legitimately ready to have a child, it's really simple.

Gay pride parades are goofy. Lots of gay people seem to be goofy in general, if you ask me. There's no reason to hate them or their stupid parades. If people are gay/choose to be gay, so be it. Others will not be/choose not to be, so be it. The constant fear of gay inundation or gay agendas is foolish.

Fear is the main tool used against our true self.

'False prophets' come in many forms and lie on a spectrum that is infinitely diverse. There's no need to worry about them, just be aware of what they say and use your own judgment and intuition.

The word ignorant is not a curse word. It means unlearned, of which I attribute to some who are unlearned in matters which concern the Word of God.

Some here might think I came to push and shove to get people to believe like me. Everyone has a right to believe what they want. Me? I do seek one hungry for truth. There have been some here saying, prove there is a higher power. Yeah, they were probably laughing at and scoffing at Noah when he was building the Ark too.

Out of all the people on the earth at that time, the Word of God declares only 8 people were saved. Continue to scoff at your own peril. You cannot say you were not warned. It is really hard sometimes to understand how people can be so vicious and hateful to those who's heart it is only to help see the love God has for us all by having His only begotten Son to die in our place.

God is Good!

Thank you for the english lesson, but I am pretty sure you should have said "ignorance".

But instead, you explained to us how you were somehow right. The same method you use with your preaching. Ignore the facts and assume people that don't agree are somehow less educated than you.

I hardly see the similarities between what you do and what the bible-Jesus said you ought to do.

I wonder if the people of Noah's time were thinking "hey - didn't we already go through this with Gilgamesh??"

And I haven't seen anybody really be hateful towards you on this thread. If you are going to preach here, you might want to grow a slightly thicker shell.

You keep mentioning that the Finish Line is in Site. Which site is that? ATS? Youtube? "BBC? Oh, wait.... you mean in SIGHT! I have a feeling your inSIGHT on this matter is as incorrect as your FREquent misspellings. All the reasons on your list have been around forever, with the exception of the gay parades...but then, gay USED to mean happy and carefree, so perhaps the happy parades of the past means that even that part of the list has been around forever too! While The End might be Near-ER, I see no reasons why it would be Near, based solely on your list of what is really common, ordinary life on this planet.

Think I will start a new Thread. This is getting old! The point to this thread all along has been that the Age of Grace is coming to a close very soon. The finish Line Is In Sight (Thank You). Grace, undeserved favor will be coming to an end sooner than most know. How do I know? Oh! that's right, I frequently come across as being ignorant. Well, at least this thread was a means to inflate the ego of some. They can now think of themselves as being grand and how fantastic they were in handleing this dumb Christian.

You missed my main point, which was more important than the references to the spelling, about how nothing whatsoever in your list is different from any other time in history, which also makes it no different than the other predictions seen in here about the same subject over and over. Human nature can really be alarming and self-destructive towards our planet and each other, and natural disasters happen fairly often with some worse than others. I applaud those that deal with life with a more serene and calm attitude though lately it seems as though buddhists seem to take life better than a number of the very judgemental "Christians" I encounter here. Most of the latter seem to take great joy in telling others how they will burn in hell. Hardly the teachings of Christ.

Dear Tupac,
Aren't you dead? :X jk
Most of this appears to me a perfectly defined new religion..... The only thing I can agree with is the idiocracy of the government. The rest .... I'll believe it when I see it, just like God.
However, since I think having a "belief" is more important than what you actually believe in, I will say that I believe God WAS an Alien, and Jesus was a cult leader. Party on.

Wow. What a list:

1. War
2. Rumors of War
3. Earthquakes
4. Volcanoes
5. Floods
6. Famines
7. Persecutions of Jews and Christians
8. Hate
9. Murders/Including Abortions
10. Gay Pride Parades
11. Fear
12. False Prophets

All this death and destruction - and parades! Wait. Parades? We should be concerned with parades?

I wonder how many lives have been lost because someone saw a parade...

Considering your absolute and exclusive preachings, with the parroting of OT intolerance, you'll have a hard to time to convince your critics of anything else.

Quote: ["Everyone has a right to believe what they want. Me? I do seek one hungry for truth."]

Anyone hungry for truth would have looked around on his/her own and would already have heard THE standard christian sermon you have delievered a zillion times, because its practically the only thing christian missionaries have to say:

'God' messed up creation, and needed somebody to blame. He already had a slave-species with the purpose of gardening and satisfying his insane needs for worship. That species could conveniently take the load of 'god's incompetence and was told, "see what you made me do".

But still needing worship, as a boozer needs the bottle, 'god' decides to forgive mankind for the problems he's the cause of himself, and the Jesus and redemption thing is started.

Quote: ["There have been some here saying, prove there is a higher power."]

I wouldn't buy a pile of rust on four wheels, just because someone tells me it's a car in mint-condition. People have a right to test the product promoted. Or are you above such mundane requests?

Quote: ["Yeah, they were probably laughing at and scoffing at Noah when he was building the Ark too."]

You STILL keep referring to mythological characters as if they are real.

Quote: [Continue to scoff at your own peril. You cannot say you were not warned."]

We continue at our own peril, and we have been warned. We just don't marklar your marklar.

Quote: ["It is really hard sometimes to understand how people can be so vicious and hateful to those who's heart it is only to help see the love God has for us all by having His only begotten Son to die in our place."]

Hitler is also a very misunderstood person. He had mankind's best interest in his heart, which was manifested through the attempted genocide of races Hitler didn't like.

From a later post of yours:

Quote: ["Think I will start a new Thread. This is getting old!"]

!-2 days old. The real problem is, that you have met opposition, you can't handle, so now you try to make a disappearance act and hope next time will be only with yes-men. I will actually make a predicition: Your next thread will be have the exactly same theme as this one, and will end the same way.

Preaching is more successful in churches than public forums. Or in areas with famine, where you can bribe people to listen to you.

Quote: ["Grace, undeserved favor will be coming to an end sooner than most know. How do I know?"]

Yes, how DO you know?

Quote: [" Well, at least this thread was a means to inflate the ego of some. They can now think of themselves as being grand and how fantastic they were in handleing this dumb Christian."]

'Handling' you won't be added to any merit list.

You came here to preach and be unquestioned? Not surprised at all, especially considering that you didn't bother to answer any of my questions regarding your ignorant drivel.

One more time, and in big text so you don't miss it:

Where is your evidence that any and all of the events you cited are happening with greater frequency and/or intensity beyond your own subjective impression?

Additional questions:

Why are you citing the chapter in which Jesus promises the end to come within the generation of his living followers while pretending like you have knowledge of the Bible?

Do you consider eating shellfish, certain birds, and 'creeping things' to be an abomination as well as homosexuality?

Dear Cor Leonis,
Upon further inspection, I must disagree with your "parade" entry. Since God only had one son, and we are all his children... in his eyes we are all girls, and therefore we are all guilty of homosexuality.
Peace to you.
