Yes...she still did not board that bus with the purpose of protesting...she was simply on her way home.

Again...try all you want...this is not the same thing.

I concede that point.

Well played.

Does it make a difference though? Both still protested.

I missed this. Are you talking about Rosa Parks?

If so - - you better check your facts.

So if the civil rights movement failed in the 60's, you would today, be for separate water fountains for colored people, because a select few ruined it for everyone else.

I'm 65. I am fully aware of the Civil Rights Movement.

Its very similar to the Marriage Rights Movement of today. It did not happen overnight.

She did, but not to promote her radio show, website, etc.
What's next for Adam? Buy my book?

Cracks me up. We are comparing Rosa Parks to this case. Laughable. Rosa Parks demonstrated for discrimination, this guy demonstrated to rile people up about dancing at a memorial. He should have been smarter about picking his battles....I for one nelieve dancing at a memorial in an effort to just get people spun up is picking the wrong battle. By hey...he got the publicity he wanted. I refuse to call him a protestor....he's an attention seeker. there is a difference.

It's laughable that people would get behind this guy...utterly laughable.

We can see by Mussolini's own declaration, that Fascism itself is Statist, but actually gives more freedom than Socialism. Socialism is but a bridge to the more violent form, communism, and fascism is only slightly to the right of Socialism. All three ideologies are Statist, that is the State is supreme and the individual has no rights but rights of the collective.

Thanks for proving my point. It was the Fascist statist that stopped the individuals from dancing. In effect taking away their individual rights of LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT of HAPPINESS!!

There is a higher order to things and the individuals rights are paramount if they are harming no one. And slavish obedience to authority leads only to them taking more control and ultimate tyranny. TEofH, you seem like an intelligent individual; it astonishes me how this simple fact escapes you!!

Question Authority!

I had read that awhile back, but could not find a source for it.

So I conceded, as I had no proof.

Hes protesting about dancing at a memorial? You aren't really that gone are you? You can't really be...

It has nothing to do with dancing. It's about freedom, it's about destruction of the police state, it's about everything worth fighting for. I fear for you man...

It is not about dancing.

Come back after you have done some research on the particulars.

I believe this was done to get a predictable overreaction from law enforcement captured on video.

This could have been handled differently, and much more quietly... That choice was entirely the enforcers.

No non-violent american should be handled this violently, that is where law enforcement makes a continual mistake, it is their brutality that makes all of this possible.

Corruption, and police brutality are going to take this nation to a place no one should want to go.

It's time for mutual respect, discretionary enforcement, proportionate use of force, and an internal fight against rogue cops, bad cops, corruption etc.

To deny these problems, blame the people, and look the other way, or worse defend the indefensible. aid corruption, cover up corruption, brutality and even murder will not make these problems go away, on the contrary it will likely bring about a day of reckoning the likes of which has never been seen in the USA.

Shall we dance now, or later?

All this is happening under a socialist democrat president....no matter waht you say about Bush,if they wantd, this regime could, with its majority's in the house and senate, have stopped it anytime in the last 2 years...yet obambi increases the assault on freedom daily/....and rosa parks was selected to be the one to refuse to move...she was protrayed as a tired domestic too worn out to move....but she was carefully coached to be the poster child of "ride in the back"

I know it's not. It's about attention seeking and gaining publicity over trivial matters. We have a lot more important things in this country to worry about than this clown getting his butt kicked because he basically asked for it.

I just don't think you get it, do you. It's NOT ABOUT DANCING.

What's more important, and what are you doing to better it?

What is more important than freedom of speech, freedom of expression, limited government, the rule of law, and much much more at play here?

HELLO!

Kokesh has devoted his life to protesting for freedom since he got back from the war. What have you done? That's what I thought. What the hell is the point in protest, if you don't gather attention to your views? Isn't that the entire point.
