Yeah, aren't they currently drafting new laws that would provide the most harsh punishment for women caught driving in Saudi Arabia, after a woman dared to drive there?

Any woman who is caught driving and spitting will likely have her boobs cut off, and then be stoned to death.

These uppity Saudi women have got to be dealt with, its getting out of hand.

This is old news...shes been in jail a couple of weeks

No the woman was polite when she told her. They showed the security camera on the news here. I can't find a link to that video, it's a local story here.

The woman she spit on didn't seem angry at all. I would be annoyed and upset if someone spit on me. You don't know if someone has a disease they can transfer to you with their spit.

You didn't read the article did you? She is here on a student VISA, yes she is here legally but she isn't a citizen and the crime is charged with since it isn't her first times is grounds for deportation. Those are the rules, if she can't respect them they she can go home. It is nobody's fault but her own.

if this lady is a legal citizen then the judge ought to send her to anger management classes, or even fine her or jail her for biological attack, spit after all can carry biological diseases therefor spitting on someone is considered a biological attack,

I agree that maybe anger management classes would be good for her but this isn't her first time doing this. She had her chances and well this time it was her last one.

if she is a legal citizen and is being deported, then the judge is basically saying this country belongs to government and law enforcement and NO ONE ELSE, because if this country is of any belonging to its legal citizens and she is one, then they have no more right to throw her out then she does to throw them out.

It's a hate crime because she has made many comments about Americans in a negative way and it isn't the first time she has spit on someone. She has a problem with it apparently.

When she was in jail she changed her tune saying she loves Americans yet others have said she goes around saying how she doesn't like Americans so yeah hate crime. I bet she changed her tune because she knows she will probably get sent back.

We dont need any more nuts in America. Deport her. Its also why I am against ANY amnesty for illegals. If you cannot refrain from criminal activity AT LEAST until you get your papers and become a citizen, I dont want you here. My opinion.

It wasn't the first time and she has a history of making comments about how she doesn't like Americans. If she doesn't like Americans then WHY come to an American school?

I live near where this happened so I have seen the news reports on it.

She spit on her professor and was kicked out of school for it so now her VISA is void and she has to go home, this was just icing on the cake.

She is a serial spitter!

Deportation to Arabia is like giving the death penalty, if she was an extreme devoted Muslim I doubt they would/could have printed that picture of her with her hair uncovered, without creating more Muslim extremist hate or a lawsuit.

I don't think that any westernised Muslim would sympathize with her case.

She is not an American citizen, she was here on a school VISA and was kicked out for spitting on her professor.

Also she was wearing the Muslim gear and they made her take it off for her mug shot and processing.

No it doesn't. Many things get posted on here that are years even decades old. It's an internet forum.

I posted it to share and discuss with others her actions and the result of those actions. I wanted to see if others thought her deportation and crime fit. After seeing it on the news a few times since it's a local story, deportation fits. She was kicked out of school for spitting and she is here on a student VISA, so now she has no reason to be here.

Deport her!
I agree with the poster who said if a guest in your home spit on you--you would throw them out. Getting a Student Visa is a privilage not an entitlement. If Americans go to Saudi and disrespect their law and culture--then deport them too.

Deport her NOW so she could spit back at home where she'd get beaten for even trying to complain about anything.
Since she feels opressed in America, let her enjoy her own backward pit she came from.

Alot of people in the Middle East have been taught to hate Americans and Jewish people from a very young age. You cannot reason with this type of mindset.

The right decision was made to deport her. No matter who you are, or what country you're visiting, you cannot go around spitting on people. This is common sense.

You know, as a general rule I am a relatively mild - mannered woman.
BUT...(and this is a really BIG BUT)
Had she spat on me I would probably be in the hooscow as well because I would have immediately slapped her into the middle of next week.
I have no tolerance for idiocy like that.
You don't like us, you don't like our country.
So LEAVE.
But I see she is being put out, being the repeat offender that she is.
I 'll willing to bet her countrymen wouldn't let her get off with a simple shoe being thrown at her as punishment for her spitting on someone.

thank you nobody has said before i'm gracious you are the firs one but blaming is the easy answer understand others is much much complicated... we have the choice or we see ourself as just a bunch of monkey who spit and
knocks on the ground, screaming like monkeys, or we straightens up and we talk like civilized people ... it's not easy being a real human, with a concience, and Responsability to self and others ,to know where you have to set limits, change his attitude when necessary, not being manipulated by his ego

to be human being is not for the lazy...it is a challenge that very few people want to take, unfortunately.

Honestly, when I was a kid once I spit on the sidewalk. Besides the fact that it wasn't a very ladylike thing to do back then (1960's), my Mother turned into the equivalent of a nine-headed fire-breathing leviathan when she saw me do that.
Needless to say, I never did it again, lol
