Seriously, is there any logical argument against gay marriage?

In insecure neurotic societies, like the ones we live in today, people are afraid of people who are different from them as it brings doubts about their own way of life and beliefs. This is why many straight people oppose gay marriages and it's a similar case with religious people opposing secular societies, atheists and so on.

Healthy secure societies are not offended by different opinions or different ways of life, when those do not cause any harm to anyone. If things progress as they seem to be progressing, then in a few decades marriage, religious indoctrination and homophobia will be almost gone, in the same sense that a virus is gone.

Not everyone is ready yet though, as those who have been brainwashed from an early age are not easily brought to the "light".

So don't think about it! To be honest the idea of straight sex leaves little to be desired to me but I am not trying to persecute anyone over it.

I think homosexuality is potentially some kind of biological defect, no science behind that - just unsubstantiated thought.... Our purpose is to procreate. I also think marriage is ridiculous.

That said homosexuals are as much a human as I am and anyone who thinks they should be treated differently or not be allowed the same privileges, no matter how trivial, has their head up their a$$.

How about the simple fact that the bible apparently says so? Marriage is something that belongs to the religions, not the states. Therefore it should not be possible to legislate marriage, but the churches should do as they see fit. The only problem still is the problem of not have separated church and state.

For some reason I doubt you would oppose that physical interaction since it would probably be more appealing to you. But it is in the same league as two men kissing.

Most argument is based within religious beliefs.
And most sides will push to provide for some by denying others.

How about YOU can't marry because I said so? That carries the same amount of logic you hateful christians have.

Religion needs to be treated as a severe mental disorder, Those that participate are a disease to humanity which needs to be cured NOW.

What do you mean its not a good argument? THE ANIMAL IS STILL GAY, just because he cannot make babies, does not change the fact that a male animal is having sex with a male animal... And I've seen my male cats being gay also so I can confirm that xD

Besides that same argument fails for humanity because for it to destroy us, 100% of the males would have to turn gay tomorrow for any serious rebounds to happen, which it will not

While my state hasn't approved of gay marriage...yet, I'm certain it will in the near future. Still, they do allow civil unions for same sex couples and that gives them close to the same benefits as married couples.
I'm not shy about being gay anymore, although I used to be...but I'm also not asking fundamental religious institutions to forcibly marry gay couples, who they marry is their business. As stated before, marriage should not even be recognized by government since it is commonly performed under religious premises.

The only point of this thread is to draw people who don't agree with you and yours and try to make them look like idiots. Because in the end, doesn't matter if they've come with valid reasons or not (I've already seen at least one which you knocked even though based on logic), you'll just label them as "wrong".

It's when people can't speak their minds freely without being attacked when society will fall. Not because gays marry.
