I vote for Zombie apocalypse--the slow shufflers, throw in a bit of economic collapse, a tsunami or two and a few cases of spontaneous combustion just to make things interesting.

You go to put your dishes in the dishwasher? It's a zombie.. Dishwasher eats you.

Hairdryer? Eats you...

Call you mom or dad? They eat you..

Call the cops? Phone eats you..

Try and warn ATS on your laptop? Eatin.......

Try to leave town? Street lights eat you...

Of all the doomsday scenarios getting around relating to 2012, i cant recall any where the earth is completely wiped out can you Slayer?
There are alot of alignments coming together and prophesies converging as we speak (type).
Its not just the religious that can feel it, spiritualists, naturalists even certain scientific experts can feel something is in the air.
Your light-hearted hollywood themed approach to an issue that has the potential to effect us all in some way is not just unecessary it is careless.

I was born aquarius and have always had a sense that when I kick the bucket it will be due to drowning so I am going to go with the mega tsunami. Ok I changed my mind that sounds kinda morbid. I will predict that I, personally, will die of natural causes at the ripe old age of 93 surrounded by my healthy kids, my healthy grandkids, and my health great grandkids, and my hot 90 year old wife. By the way thats precisely 53 years after 2012. peace

i draw my source of knowledge from movies

disaster movies and while i watch them they make me think wouldnt it be nice to do "this" in a certain situtation or wouldnt it be nice to "have this" in situations.

but a possible scenario is a viral or bacteria plague that comes from space aka meterorites.

for those with open minds know anything is possible but most of us just stock it up to crazy talk or it will never happen.

see but thats the thing people have died throught out recorded history from all of the above with exception to the black hole and maybe a solar flare or gamma burst.

yet..............

I'll go with a three-prong approach: Plague/virus + Demon/Prophet + Nuclear armageddon
A "Good vs Evil" fight to the end... yep.

Example:

I'm putting my money on some kind of comet/rogue planet scenario.
Second choice is some kind of massive solar flare.
I wish the bookies were taking bets.

My moneys on alien invasion or nibiru. Would love zombies though, I'd imagine it would be easier to survive.

When the Great Old Ones and Elder Gods return I will put in a good word for you Slayer! My actual favorite is from the role-playing game Rifts. Nuclear war re-ignites ley-lines and causes massive earth altering events as each death magnifies potential psychic energy that over flows the the ley-lines. Magic returns but the earth is altered tremendously as dimensional gates open up letting demons and such in to our dimension. Heck even Atlantis returns because it vanished into a extra-dimensional pocket when earth was drained of magic. Imagine a whole island suddenly coming into being and what it would do! Mankind falls into a dark age as we lose most of our technology, no internet, no world wide communication just chaos There is a 2012 to ponder!

A pedicure I have never had and then go out and spend all of my ATS points at the mall.

I might even get wild and have my toe-nails painted florescent luminous green, so I know where they are when the lights go out.

No massive waves, maybe the oxygen just gets sucked from the planet.
