One simply needs to go to the Wiki article HERE to see the study of the skulls.

You will see many were studied, with electron microscopes and by other means by reputable sources, and none of them determined they were ancient artifacts with an unknown creation process. Heck, one was made in the 1950s.

If these skulls were of identical design, found around the world and really had a process of creation we couldn't figure out, I might be interested. As it stands, it's rubbish - a delusional tale people grip to in their desire for this to be an amazing and mysterious story.

This is extremely interesring stuff. Do you think this could be related to project blue beam?

Nope, I sure don't. But give it time... Someone probably will sooner or later!

There have been quite a few studies regarding the sculls and many different beliefs of their origins. Some believe that they were created by the Mayans, aliens or were gifts from the gods. Some believe that if brought together they will end the world, or save it, and then there has also been talk that the one who possesses all 13 sculls could attain unimaginable powers.

Seems like an all or nothing deal, eh? I've always been interested in the crystal skulls. They're made of quartz which is what we use to store information in some devices but we only need a small bit. So if that's what these are for imagine the tarabytes of memory are on each one. maybe the history of our race and our planet and the Aliens that visited us.

I bet there's a lot of porn in there.

That is so cool that the 13th skull has been found. Can't wait till they get reunited, so I can find out what will really happen.

You get to summon the eternal dragon and you get three wishes.
For my first wish I'd bring back dragonball z

Then I might think about bringing more light to this world but mostly I'd like to bring back dragonball!

I love your comment!!!
Have you watched the DBZ abridged series? It is quite funny if you can appreciate a good mocking!

Now I'm not really sure what to think about this crystal skulls thing. There is so much conflicting information about them its hard to know what to believe. I guess we will find out one way or the other if they have them all and put them together.

Either nothing happens and the subject is finally put to rest, or people will claim they didn't have all the real ones and speculation will continue. Or something happens. But if something did happen would the public even know about it? I'm not so sure.

Of course the American ones are fake. Americans can be quite the con-artists... I should know... i am one

This is a great topic OP! I once saw a documentary on the skulls and will now have to refresh. They are quite fascinating!

13 is in fact an interesting number. Like the astrological signs recently adding the 13th (Ophiuchus... the sign of healing)

Maybe that's why Dan Akroyd makes his vodka in a skull. I really should get one of those for display in a shelf.

It may also be why the Skull and Bones use the logo they do. And everyone knows how evil they are.

I know them to be mysterious but not evil. Not much is known about the organization. What do you know?

The Mayan skulls are like the equivalent to like finding Secret Items in an RPG game or something. It's quite fascinating. DBZ is a good comparison as well.

The same issues always come up with anything 2012.

Now the doubters are trying to say the HP computer articles are hoaxed too?

Oh come on. You just don't simply understand the skulls or anything foreboding to it. Plain and simple.

edit: If you think these are fake. I have to ask, do you think Obama's tificate was fake? just asking.

If you want to believe in such nonsense, feel free - but there has been plenty of proof that there is nothing to this. There is no record of HP actually testing that skull, and a later test proved it did have tool marks - circular grooves, showing it had been worked on by a metal wheel, buffed, etc.

There is very little fact surrounding these skulls - and there are known con-men who have sold these in the past, and such fantastic tales would have served them well in making a sale.

and these things are supposed to combine to be a super computer?

Obamas BC can't be compared. These skulls were a gimmick by some french guy a few hundred years ago when fake artifacts were more common than food.

Hey you say that the 13th has been found.. but I thought that all the others but 1 had been proven to be fake.

Your wrong...there have been dozens of skulls found..Most have been proven fake but some are really interesting and have the same characteristics of the first skull they found. I remember watching a documentary about it on the history channel and how there was a good handful of skulls that were made with such precision that they couldn't be replicated today

So was this skull in Himler's possession? Or just on his ship? I know that they were supposed to be very into such things and travelled around collecting as many esoteric things as they could find.

So if it was Himler - that would date to at least 1940s and if the other "fake" skulls where thought to be made in the mid 50s ... I'm thinking maybe the museums are trying to downplay.

It is pretty widely known that the really interesting stuff at the Smithsonian is in storage and not on display.

If a skull was found to be made with an advanced technology that doesn't fit the "timeline" we're all fed... best to say it's "fake".

That's very tidy and easy. And it gives solace to all who show interest. Skeptics have "experts" to point to and believers have the skulls and discrepancies to point to.

Everyone is happy in their own universe
I love it.

I'm on the fence about the Crystal Skull stories, but what I really doubt is that Hewlett Packard would have any interest in researching these sort of artifacts - back in the 60's they were slap-bang in the middle of development for venturing into the computer market with their first 'mini computers' (not so mini in todays standards
).

I seriously doubt they'd be putting their time and effort into researching possible mythical items.

My source for this? I work for Hewlett Packard

Peace out

And yes, the sculls have been looked at by scientists, with startling results:

Art critic Frank Dordland even addressed Hewlett-Packard, the famous company that specialized in crystal oscillators at that time, for a competent examination of several crystal sculls.

The results were shocking not only for the scientist himself. The research by Hewlett-Packard in 1964 in a special laboratory revealed that the skull had been made long before the first civilizations appeared in that part of America where the skull was found. In addition, rock crystal of such perfect quality couldn't be found in that area. The most amazing thing was that the ancient skull weighing 5.13 kg, 203.4 mm long and 125.4 wide had been made of a whole crystal. This fact contradicted the laws of physics.

Hewlett-Packard experts say that the skull had been made regardless of all laws and rules. They surprisingly said: "The damned thing can't exist at all. Those who had done it had no idea of crystallography or of fibre-optics. The people completely ignored the axis of symmetry, which was to prevent the crystal from splitting during processing. It is strange why it didn't split at that!" No matter how unbelievable it may seem, the strange crystal skull can be seen in the Museum of American Indians.

www.mendhak.com...

The mendhak site list the locations of most of the sculls. It seems everything is falling into place. Like all of the prophesies ever told are slowly bearing some resemblance to the truth. Interesting times indeed.

PS: Did several searches, couldn’t find any threads on this. Why I do not know.

Can you explain why the off-site quote also has the word "scull" even though theres no such typo in the link?

I wouldn't be so quick to write off any of "these sort of atifacts" as plane "possible mythical items" the fact that they are based around myth is just that the understanding of said items is inconclusive or shady at best.
There is much ancient technology that hasn't been understood by modern/western science. Considering that the blueprints for those very "mini computers" may have their origin in Egypt!? Look up the temple of Horus. The word chemistry itself comes from Egypt which was orginally known by it's people as Kemet meaning black... So chemistry could be translated to black mystery/history.
