The so called " Crystal Skulls" are fake. The first skull that was found in Maya was proven to be a fake.
says the person who thinks Maya is a place...
Did you mean Maya Civilization? Btw, it's Mayan Civilization and they died away several hundred years ago
Not sure where you got this info, but I happen to have a friend who is of Mayan descent. Not to mention the roughly 6million Maya living in Guatamala and other parts of the Americas.
On another note crystals store holographic information (light). Much like CDs or DVDs work. Or as water stores memory too. Much like your crystaline DNA holds memories of your ancestors. So in a sense crystals are the Earth's DNA.
In reply to the skulls are fake crowd, who judges them and studies and what is their motive? An expert at history still has to toe the line in order to maintain funding. It seems that archeologists are the ultimate debunkers. Wiki is in on it too. When they say these are modern fakes, they are also toeing that line that has been given to them. Like the world civilization is only 5k years old. Or whatever they tout out now.

There have been quite a few studies regarding the sculls and many different beliefs of their origins. Some believe that they were created by the Mayans, aliens or were gifts from the gods. Some believe that if brought together they will end the world, or save it, and then there has also been talk that the one who possesses all 13 sculls could attain unimaginable powers.
Seems like an all or nothing deal, eh? I've always been interested in the crystal skulls. They're made of quartz which is what we use to store information in some devices but we only need a small bit. So if that's what these are for imagine the tarabytes of memory are on each one. maybe the history of our race and our planet and the Aliens that visited us.

I've always found the subject of the Crystal skulls fascinating. I'll have to research this claim. I know that more than 13 Crystal Skulls have been discovered already, though most of them aren't near as "flawless" as the Mitchell-Hedges.
I own one myself. Of course mine is sitting on a bookcase and filled with vodka.
S&F for the article, tabloid or not.edit on 14-5-2011 by Mactire because: (no reason given)

Ok so can i have the source for the HP claims. And not some hoax site.
And 13 fake skulls put together will do nothing.

CDs and DVDs are not holographic. They are like punch cards.
Water does not have memory. There are a few hoaxes claiming that. Water is an interesting material with many interesting properties. Memory is not one of them.
DNA is not a crystal. It has been crystallized to elucidate its structure, but in our bodies it is not a crystal. Crystals are not like the Earth's DNA. They may hold information about the past, but they do not hold information used in the future.
