I think the libertarian party is the party of the future and is vastly underrated...and underreported.
I'd like to be on the libertarian team and help in this effort...please

However, if the libertarian team is full-up, I would be willing to help out on the conservative team, if needed

I am kinda conservative libertarian girl

Wow! Take 24 hours off and miss the ship.

If it's not yet full, I'd very much enjoy being part of the Libertarian team. If that's filled up, maybe I could join the 'other' team. My primary interests are economic policy, the welfare state, and international affairs.

What exactly would the team members be required to do?

Research and discuss the important issues that need to be addressed in this campaign year, debate the merits of each party's position on the various issues, and confirm each candidate's stated position on the issues we discuss.

I'm interested in participating. I'm either a member of the Democrat/Liberal, Libertarian or other segment. I'm interesting in playing devil's advocate to any position to do research and post. Let me know where I'm needed and what I need to do.

As I U2U'ed ya Sauron, and for the benefit of other people not sure where to sign up. The Democrat/Liberal Team actually welcomes International input and participation... including being a team meber if your focus is researching and presenting the Democratic/Liberal platform as it pertains to the 2004 US election. Which we already have International members eager to do.
And more may U2U interest if desired.

But if you're at all unsure of your interest and affiliations, but still eager to participate I suggest(ed) signing up something to that effect and your background here, as you've done. I simply noticed some International posters were declaring themselves "others" so we'll just have to see if a team evolves from there.

Not up to me though, just encouraging people to express themselves however they see fit, and we'll make it all work.

Could SO please give some confirmation on what to do for international posters? Just so that we're all on the same page.
thanks

I want to help this initiative in any way I can. Whenever we get a Libertarian team leader, I would definately want to be on that team. If we don't have Libertarian team leader yet... well we will soon.

Well let's see,

An issue I would like to see addressed is America's International Relations and standing.
Not long ago we were a highly respected nation at the international level. I have not been abroad lately, but from the international press I gather that our standing as a nation that holds the values of truth and liberty to be sacred is not that well respected. Even our newly acquired allies are mocking our position.

Although Nostradamus is perhaps the most famous prophet from France, the words of French philosopher Voltaire-"It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong"-more accurately prophesied the horrific state of modern-day America under the tyranny of the lying, inept, corrupt and venal Bush dictatorship.

In the lexicon of behavioral psychology there are two popular terms: psychopath and sociopath. Although these terms are often used interchangeably, there is a distinction between them. Psychopaths are usually individuals with physical or mental illnesses or impairments that prevent them from distinguishing right from wrong. Sociopaths, on the other hand, are normally individuals who know right from wrong, but lack any semblance of conscience. They are the penultimate example of the "ends justify the means" ideology, and the ends always inure to the benefit of the sociopath, regardless of how many people are harmed in the process. In a sociopath's world, other humans are not looked upon as reasoning and emotional beings, but as products that exist for the sociopath's gratification or self-aggrandizement

Perhaps some of our international members could clarify my perception, either true or false, I would like to know. Also I would like to know where to place blame if there is any.

In my eyes anyone whom does not try to lock the ballot box with an "unofficial" lock should be looked at strangely (current local news/joke)so I guess I am in and any American that does not feel like "other" right now should be looked @ as well so I guess that makes me a canidate for membership with that side. I am harsh but I do try to have an open mind but honesty comes with brutality from this end just to warn everyone. Personally, I am inclined to even thinking this is some sort of ploy by a(n) politically influential individual(s) to see where they might need to cover their ass but I guess that is the chance we all think we might be taking in the back of our minds when we place that first post or when we first "discovered" this website if we hang around for the right reasons maybe we might learn the truth faster. With that said I would also agree that the position of team leader for other should be done election style only with the right vote counter this time, lest we make the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over and ...... well you get what I am saying right?

What did Iraq have to do with the battle against Al-Quada (The Terrorists who attacked us on 9/11) again? I am confused - too many un-answered questions!

Woops - I meant the "War on Iraq" have to do with "Al-Queada" - to be honest there are a lot of Islamic Extremist Terrorist Nuts in the World.

I am more concerned about the Economy personally. I am an
Independent Voter BTW. I believe that the U.S.A. stands for Freedom!

I would like to see both Candidates Debate on how they would keep "Homeland Security" Funded!!!

I must ask ? what is the difference between the unafflicted and the neutralist then ? cos I always thought that they were the same thing, both have a neutral stand in the debate.

Any further info would be nice thanks all

And not to Congress where it ought to have gone. So the final vote in 2000 was 5 to 4. And we are "selling" democracy abroad?

I admit the Dems are not so much holier than the Repubs, but I feel the Dem response to the Nine Eleven Event would have been much more collegial. And just as effective. And a heck of a lot cheaper. In blood and bounty.
