Strange 400 ft wide Metallic Domes buried in the desert (pics)

Wow, first he finds circular buildings which means absolutely nothing and second I like how you ASSume they are underground bunkers of some kind giving the fact they have a ramp, you know, one of those things that goes up. I dont see a road that leads to nothingness straight into the building. There's no evidence of them being underground facilities, im sure they may have basements, maybe not who knows, a lot of buildings do.

Upon closer observation I realize those are domed structures. They could possibly be private helicopter landing pads with their own meeting rooms inside for wealthy clients or VIP's. It is an interesting design, and upon further reading I have found out these are close to an airport. Neat looking buildings thanks for posting.

and lack of roads to them makes me think helicoper pick ups not landing but but hovering,sands shift so no trace?? any thoughts

They are clearly water storage tanks for large scale irrigation. Take a look around the area on google earth. At the western end of the grid section you can see that orchards have already been planted with older design water tanks. They look like they belong in Star wars, as does much of Dubai ...but i'm pretty sure they are just for water storage and treatment. Sorry.

As for the "domes," I think I'm gonna go with some sort of water reservoir on this one. They don't look that strange to me.

if it was anything top secret they would have not survived to post this ,accidents happen lol
just spoke to some folk they are wells nothing but water boys and gals.

if you found them on google earth they cant be that important or secretive or they would have blocked them out

Likely these are oil or gas storage facilities. Secured bunkers would not have that high a profile. The tanks are pipe fed, The topography lends itsrlf to below groung facilities which are less prone to be impacted by a fire or natural weather.

i've been having a good laugh at this thread all day ..the stuff people come out with ..anyone who works in construction would know that these are nothing more than "temcor domes" ..thanks for amusing me ,i should of posted sooner but the posts kept getting better www.temcor.com...

That looks like a piece of Laminate with 4 aluminum nails in it. Ha, but in all seriousness, those are just stage one ufo's or otherwise known as "Chariots".

If anything, the domes you link to would be placed above the water tanks we are looking at in google earth, anyone who works in construction would know that , and by the way, they look nothing like that, did you see the images? those even have a road built into the tank, while the domes you link to are in no way able to support something like that, they are just domes to protect the inner tank/facility/whatever, check the links on that other post, they explain very well what these are and how they are built.

So from what I can tell these are water storage for Al Ajban Farms located in the area. It is hard to tell for sure but this is definitely in a desert agriculture area, it is close enough to the water to have water pumped from desalinization plants. These would be the holding tanks and pump houses to distribute the water to the crops which it is obvious when you look closely are beginning to grow. alajbanfarms.com...


Truck access would be required at the top for maintenance.

Maybe someone has more time to determine if this is the exact location of that farm but I'd bet money on it. The structures could also be some sort of desalinization or water treatment with sea water pumped directly to them. On the outside they might be granary or something similar but I will bet my bottom dollar they are agricultural structures.

i've been to dhabi many times ..its where you go to make alot of money in the construction business ..the location is not far from where i worked , seriously they are nothing unusual in a desert environment ..great place to work id recommend it
