Welcome to ATS then! Glad to have you on board!
I am glad to hear that it did help you and it has gone away a little. I am wondering if it will slowly continue to go away more for you until you do not experience it anymore. Or whether you are now at a normal amount of deja vus and if you will continue to have them, just not at the rate as before.
It is definitely a fascinating topic and one I hope continues to be looked at in the right fields to figure it out fully.
And no problem mate, anytime!

Extremely interesting stuff, I wish I personally had the time to delve into full on study on deja vu, dream premonitions, etc. The stuff is just mind blowing to say the least.
I wonder if those other dreams are perhaps from past or future lives of yours? Or they could be nothing.
Or from different dimensions?
Have you had one of these dreams/visions and it happened and what happened seemed to be significant to you and your life? Hope that made sense

Thanks for reply!! I am still new to ats so I am learning the ins and outs as I go. I replied to this already but, I think I replied to the wrong person. If you got his already, my bad. To answer your question, I have changed up my eating habits and sleep patterns and there has been a difference. At first it gradually happened about 6 times a year. Then it worsened to about once a month on the average. But since I changed up my diet and overall rest, It has slowed down again. It has only happened 2 times in the last 6 months. I will update if it happens again.

You posted to the right person. My post at the top of this page (3), was in reply to the post you just posted again. Welcome to ATS again! And definitely let me and us know what happens as I am very interested.

the only time i've ever felt like I lived a past life was when I heard the word Karnak for the first time. my mom was telling me a story about her dad, my grandfather who was a sgt. major in world war 2. she had mentioned he went there and for whatever reason it hit me like bricks. speaking of which, brings back a dream I had hoped I wouldn't forget and now I haven't. I saw a battle through his eyes or what I believe was what he must have seen, it's really the only explanation for it. my family had told me he survived being shot 8 times, 4 heli crashes, survived 2 days in a pit with his dead platoon behind enemy lines in korea.
the dream I had was of this winding road on a hill, a hundred people come charging down it firing and everyone waiting is taking cover behind the trees. my grandpa was known for being that guy in the middle of a battle with a smile on his face and calm as hell while bullets are flying by.

sorry for bad english im just shooting this off from memory, getting the right info out

Mentioning other dimensions is interesting. Many scholars will agree that there are more than the usual three that we all experience today. There may be at least 10 or more. Here is a link to some pretty insightful stuff on the subject. www.pbs.org...

--I read or heard somewhere that every time we make a choice a new dimension is created based on that choice. So if you think about it that way, there would be dimension created by or for every living person in the world, and each person would create a new dimension every time he made a choice--The numbers of dimensions one person could create by just living would be staggering. It would have to be at least 1 dimension for every second he or she has lived.

Hmmm, interesting stuff. So you felt like you were in one of his battles? Did he happen to die before you were born or was he alive when you were young? It was in a dream you said, did you have it right after your mom told you the stories, or before, or awhile after??

I definitely agree with the thoughts that there are more dimensions than we had normally thought there were. Im hoping the change that will happen soon is that we reach a different dimension and new possibilities will be available to us.
If we were creating dimensions every time we made a choice there would be an astronomical amount of dimensions and they would be created faster than a second and the choices we make now affect other choices that would lead to the creation of other dimensions, and so on.... Not sure on that but I definitely think there is more than we think currently.

Based solely on my own personal experiences and opinions.

Deja Vu is the result of remembering a precognitive dream when the sequence of events you dreamed about happens in real life.

As a child I often had precognitive dreams; sometimes I would have the same dream more than once before the event actually happened. Sometimes it became very frustrating because it seemed that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't do anything differently or change the sequence of events. One I remember in particular:

On three separate occasions I dreamed that my reading class (3rd or 4th grade I think) was outside on the grass sitting under the trees. This was quite odd as the class had never met outside. In the dream one of the children got restless and began to throw rocks over the heads of the class. Another child stood up at an inopportune moment and was hit in the head - quite hard - with one of the rocks.

A couple of weeks later we had an absolutely gorgeous sunny day with temperatures in the low 70's and the teacher suddenly and spontaneously decided that the class would go outside. When that happened I began to feel uncomfortable and uneasy but couldn't yet exactly remember why. When the boy started throwing rocks, I tried to shout "Don't stand up!" but I was too late, just as in the dreams. My perception at the time was that the other child was rather badly hurt, as his head began to bleed and his father had to come get him and take him to the doctor. I was quite annoyed and frustrated at the time; I remember thinking to myself that having these dreams was quite useless if I couldn't change anything.

I think that when people have Deja Vu experiences and don't understand them, it's because they don't remember their dreams. I have always dreamed in color and had very vivid dreams. Even now I usually remember a dream in detail at least 3 or 4 times a week. My husband claims that he never dreams but I know this not to be true as I have witnessed him talking and moving in his sleep - obviously dreaming. He just doesn't remember his dreams.

Just my opinion based on my own experiences.

One analogy could be that time, space, the universe and our being are all as one (which many sciences have suggested) and is much like an old LP/Record playing continuosly in a loop. The record moves relative to time and can sometimes slow down or speed up. Or perhaps become "scratched". This would force the needle (the arrow of time as explained by einstien) to sometimes jump either backwards or forwards. As our brains have evolved to function in a world where time moves forward and nothing else, its almost impossible to notice these glitches occur. Of course, this takes me to the theory that deja vu, premonitions etc could possible be our minds almost getting a grasp of what just happened.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It is interesting from listening to a few people's experiences of deja vu resulting from precognitive dreams that they are not able to change anything that happens even though you know what is going to happen. Seems to go along the lines that our future and fate is set on a path and that we are just seeing glimpses of it in our dreams, before it happens. Would you agree with that?
And yes I know people who say they do not dream at all as well. They do they just can not remember them, everyone dreams, and I am sure more people would be experiencing this if they did remember their dreams.

An interesting theory. So you are saying that when we experience deja vu, our minds are realizing that we are not on a set point in time and that we are in actuality in all the points of time at once?

Deja Vu are memories that you have when you use to live here before....then you died and god said I will not let even one of you mortal humans into my heaven with your sinful trifled unholy souless ways.

So a questioned was asked.

‘WE NEVER ASKED TO BE BORN, WHAT’S UP WITH THAT GOD...REALLY!
Just go send me to hell huh!

So then god had you reborn.and now you’re in the realization of why 99.7% of humans are going to hell for eternity.

As God said and I quote’ you really think my 'Son Died for you to sin’> "He died for your sins' ‘big difference immortal.

So to answer your question, you humans are basically the walking dead, you have been giving a second chance on why god sent you straight to hell...one way ticket.

In a way, yes. We dont use anywhere near the full capacity of our minds and the reason for this is a huge mystery in itself. There is no doubt that we have been stripped of certain extra sensory abilities maybe by a higher being or perhaps by beings a lot closer to home

Ok here i go:

I hope every one acknowledges they have a soul even though i know every one dosnt

So they soul encompases everything you are. You are your soul, you are not your physical body. Being your soul is
everything and your physical body is very limited your soul needs to escape every now and then. Your soul causes your body to fall asleep every night, its not your body being tired its your soul being tired of this limited existence. examples of this are meth users who use a drug and can stay up for a week at a time. your body is a machine and needs only water and food to continue on. any way

when you fall asleep your soul leaves your body to replenish its infinite nature, ( traveling the planet or your block, traveling the universe, traveling to the past/future or in extreme conditions traveling to havona, nebadon, for spiritual reasurance.

So when the soul goes to the future it brings back the residue to your physical body. And certain parts stand out and can be imprinted on the mind. When you finally arrive at the time your soul was previously ( future tense) you have the feeling of DEJA VU.

By the way this is a lay mans terms. so please bear that in mind in your criticism.

I see. Yes I agree we are not even close to what our minds are probably able to do. I am hoping that their will be a change in this soon and that we will be able to use our minds to the fullest of their capabilities.

I like that a lot. Is it random the residue that is brought back to the physical body? Or is it certain residue that is brought back to the physical body for a reason?
I'd also like to read more in depth on this as it is very interesting.

Something strange when I have déjà vu and I see/feel as if I actually something is missing.
To explain a little: Ok Im sitting on the couch, and I am with two people, everything seems like I have been here and done this exact thing, but the strange part is I will be expecting or seeing/feeling like Im about to receive a phone call from someone specific, but that never happens! In other cases in that deja vu moment I might see some specific person later or someone one will show up in moments, or who ever else is around me is going to get a phone call from a certain specific person but it never happens.
So Im wondering if things are actually being changed?

Happens every time I have déjà vu has anybody have or had this experience?

Next time you have one.

Rule 1.Dont move

Rule2. Don’t move don’t talk

Rule3. Don’t move talk or breathe.

Rule 4.Dont move talk breath and stop thinking.

If you do this you will get the information uploaded till the end.max 6.3seconds

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''
1. A dejavue upload takes 2.3seconds to 3.9seconds of the future to be uploaded.
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''

The average mortal human deletes the whole upload in >> .4seconds to 1.5 seconds as the dejavue is being uploaded into this realm of the....... .>YOU<

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''

JUST WAIT AND BE PATIENT NEXT TIME.

If you ever in your life ride a whole dejavue out to its whole upload, and you don’t make a mistake during your >VISIT

My understanding of Deja Vu goes like this... when the brain processes information it goes through a series of steps until the information is completely processed and logged as a memory. Lets call this process 1,2,3,4,5,6. Deja Vu occurs when your brain processes information and a step is skipped, or happens out of order like this..1,2,4,3,5,6. Because step 4 happens before step 3 your brain thinks that it has already experienced this before, but in reality it hasn't.

Deja vu... Well its kind of hard to really give an answer to what it is exactly -
From past experiences I don't believe it can be from your past life, I have had deja vu's where current model cars and current shops have been in them, I've even finished someones sentence in one instance.

Im sort of in agreeance with people who say its a precognitive dream.

Perhaps its a parralel universe type of slip up?
