"Moron" and "troll" are kinda harsh aren't they? I assure you sir, I'm neither. OP may have thought they saw something on the ticker and was mistaken. Isn't that possible? Also not explained as pointed out by other ATSer's is....why was the OP allowed to start a thread on her/his first post? Maybe a mod can explain that?

100% that it's either an avatar or it's a redirect....

My point was explaining how you could have a new picture posted on an old post. Sub out your own server, for any server you have admin access to, and blamo.... same result.

Images are usually hosted by Imagehosting sites like imageshack.us or photobucket....(A.F.A.I.K. Twitter does NOT host images) they then link back to the imagehost to display the image in any post. If I had access to my own imagehost (my own computer if I wanted it to be) all I would have to do is swap the files of the image... which isn't editing the actual post, but is replacing the image at the end where the link tells it to look.

I don't know of any more clear way to say it....

If you don't understand how filehosting works, you really aren't a credible source of information.

What I'm saying now in plain english is, you're wrong. If you wish to make a mockery of yourself, go ahead and post the link to the backdated image.

It will prove you don't understand what you're talking about.

How can the OP mistakenly see something. No one knew Osama was dead until May 1st. Its either true, or the OP can see into the future. Where would OP get the information to tweet about Osamas death 3 days prior?
