He had his own "broadcast setup" and perhaps the cameraman wanted to make a documentary? Why wouldn't they film this then? I would've. It's a very interesting scene.

It's a very compelling scene. Studying the media for the next propaganda video. Too bad we cant hear what he is saying. It would be pretty interesting I think.

He was, yes. And in every case we could clearly identify him. Except in this one.

When you film someone in such a situation the last thing the cameraman thinks is "let's make sure people ID him". It's a casual scene after all.

great picture .. it's not just his ears .. look at the brow ridge and forehead and nose .. completely different and when he briefly turns to his left .. again he looks NOTHING like this osama bin laden character .. that is NOT 'osama bin laden' .. not the one we've been shown on tv through the years .. this is an utter joke ..

I kinda feel bad for the people buying this .. the us government must really think the masses are a bunch of dimwits .. and the fact that they released this as an 'official video' from the pentagon(wow) makes them lose any credibility they had .. any word coming out of the white house CANNOT be believed now

why isn't the TV flickering?
recording a TV with a video camera would usually cause some flickering or lines would it not? this playback is crystal clear (maybe it's just cause it's an old TV?)

i dunno, everything about that tape seems so off.

I love this. And they wonder why the pictures of his body weren't released. I'm also enjoying the comments wondering why the most wanted man in the world was unable to hire an interior designer to spruce up his hideout and install a flatscreen.

They are fake. They were recorded somewhere in the Pentagon on the same day. 5 different backdrops, claimed he dyed his beard, and they cut out the audio of course so you can't hear that it's not really his voice.

If the shutter speed and the tv's refresh rate match it won't flicker.

They could have at least put some decent music on the video clips instead of giving us the silent movie treatment. Any suggestions?

Okay assuming the videos are real, here is my theory:

1. The place in question in Pakistan was a known safe house/staging point for Afghan/Pakistan terror (perpetrated by the ISI & or the CIA, Mossad etc).

2. Because of the friction that was developing between the US and Pakistan (CIA/Mossad and ISI) things started heating up, not helped by a US agent provocateur caught in Pakistan trying to create or promote a false flag operation.

3. The ISI for whatever reason, decide to move on OBL (or whoever was there). They head down to the location and find OBL playing Mario Kart with his buddies however due to screwed up intelligence and bad reception on their phones the ISI misinterpret the wishes of the US/Mossad and/or realise the place is in fact a CIA sweat shop so end up mowing down 3 of OBL's game buddies.

4. OBL is obviously quite vexed now because he can't complete the Mario Kart round so hits his "da big red button" thing and hey presto the Navy Seals fly in but somehow manage to crash their helicopter due to invisible Muslim ray guns stationed on the walls.

5. While at the Pentagon, they sit round in a situation room trying to work out how the ***** to switch on their laptops when one of the muppets manages to get his laptop working with the big screen, as they have nothing to do everyone "LOLs" at JooToob videos.

6. No one can seem to get the story right, probably because no one actually knows WTF happened in the first place

I might have missed a point or two there but you get the gist.

BBC video report of the sceptisim of the tape in Abbatobad. Really interesting. They're not buying it and one guy says that the man purported to be Bin Laden is in fact his neighbour!

I am wondering if this option has been looked at. What about the idea that Osama does not exist and is actually someone dressed as him in some very good movie makeup. Whenever I see pictures or video of him, he always looks so strange.

One thing i'd like to mention, well a couple of things. I was trying to check out the profile of his nose and face. Theres a moment in the video where he slightly turns his head a little more towards the camera. Like most of you have probably noticed, when I pause it on that spot, it really doesn't look like him. It would be great if someone could find a side view of his facial profile to match the outline of his nose, and angle of his forehead. Also, His left ear doesn't seem to have that bigger lobe coming outward like in the other videos where he is facing the camera. The ear just doesn't look like the same ear.
Just my opinion anyway...
