Well, say he is watching to find out if his latest audio message is being broadcast or gain intelligence on what the media are saying about him then yes it’s valuable intelligence. He didn’t use the internet or phones so the TV was probably the only source of information.

Okay, that's a fair point.

Only problem is though the television was showing the old library footage of him firing the Kalashnikov. You know the same footage that is used by all U.K broadcasters whenever he is mentioned. Just saying.

Yeah but then the photo’s are also taken at different angles, in different lighting conditions and so on in addition to this he is clearly younger in that picture. So its not really a fair comparison. Unless you get a full view of his face you cannot say “this is not OBL”.

I think that possibly your google link is mis-leading, the reason why the Euro socket is mentioned so much is because it is what they use!

At least on 9-11, they had me going for a couple of months. This crap doesn't even convince me, for a couple of seconds. Ya, the videos in question were made several years earlier (I am sure someone pointed that out already)...it was in his "oh sh0t" bag he carried around for when he died.

It doesn't specifically state he was charged with the 911 attacks and it isn't listed on the FBI website. All other charges against him are listed.

This is a false statement. There is plenty of medical literature that confirms that ears (and noses) continue to grow (and sag) as one ages.

I remember endless hours of faux programming pre, during, and post iraq that was nonstop justification pieces.

I don't believe OBL would agree to be filmed without good reason. So, what is the purpose of it?

It cannot be to show OBL is still alive, as he is filmed from behind and it doesn't show a true likeness. It would be self-defeating.

Is there another video of Bin Laden in existence where he is filmed from behind and to the side, like this one?

Pakistan uses C, D, G, M type plugs. C is the "euro" one. You can check images of all the different types from here.
