I have a bad feeling that the war on conspiracy theorists has begun (or at least has been ramped up)

No. What we have a great deal of the time is unanswered questions people refuse to answer, huge gaping holes, odd or inexplicable behavior, and other people who are willing to simply take someone's word for something allow decisions, sometimes life-and-death decisions, to be made based on someone's word and without complete evidence and proof.

I am pretty darn sure they'd have a real hard time getting me in any facility. It's just a scare tactic. I think I'd be intelligent enough to act like a good kitty. I really don't consider myself too out there in my beliefs. I am not on here posting and reading very much. Although this and a few other sites are the only places I get my news. This being the only conspiracy site I use. I do not watch teevee very much at all. In fact I don't even own an hdtv. Still got my old ones. I don't care about that kind of stuff but my family are all such SHEEP. they ran out and replaced all their teevees as soon as the new ones were necessary. They buy cars every few years and ughhhh I dunno, they just don't care about real stuff. Gosh me just talking about recycling and bitc%&* about people who don't ,makes them go " oh god, here she goes again". Anyway atleast I can come here and weed thru and find people who think like me. Believe me I have said before ,after reading some posts on here....."that person is NUTS" LOL.

What a strange coincidence. I heard this comment tonight after the GOP debate. R-Mike Rogers Intelligence Chairman was speaking to Wolf Blitzer who had just asked if he thought it wise to release the bin Laden photo. He explained that after the Abugrave (sp) photos were released there was a spike in violence toward servicemen overseas and it was a mistake to put them out there.

He said "I wouldn't risk the life of even one soldier to satisfy some conspiracy theorist."

Mr Rogers has a point.

Imprisonment for free speech? It would be there're undoing also, lets remind everyone that most crimes are conspiracy until the investigating cops or detectives have a confession or physical evidence, conspiracy can be friends stabbing another in the back etc.
There will always be conspiracies at all levels, i'm not planning on shutting up or going anywhere anytime soon.

This is the sort of week I take off from monitoring the children on TV. I am simply too ashamed for them, especially when the women, sweet little creatures they are, are forced, for money, to curl and form their lips is the most disgusting, embarrassing shapes when laying down their masters laws and doing their satanic bidding.

They simply do not realize how they will be expected to pay for this security.

Yeah, I heard that more pics of 'Bin Laden' will be published, 'to take care of any conspiracy theorists' out there. I'm not sure, but I think it was barry who spoke this phrase. As if they're flies.... Just remember who is running this dog and pony show. So that israel may survive.

Just thought I'd remind you media creatures about hell. You earned every everlasting second of it.

I was actually called a crazy conspiracy theorist the other day at work.

I didn't care honestly. I don't consider myself a CCT, I just considered myself informed and awake and not brainwashed. If that makes me a crazy conspiracy theorist to some then so be it.

I have heard a lot of people making fun of conspiracy theories here in Greece as well. But this is not a bad thing at all.
If "our" conspiracies has reached the mainstream media it means that maybe more people will start thinking about them.More people will start demanding the truth.Even if it reaches 1 out of 10 viewer is a big win on our side.
Every action they take has a reaction and most likely they cannot predict the backfire.
They call us crazies? So what. They always did one way or another.

So you're saying you've got a theory about a conspiracy against conspiracy theorists?

Exactly ... Do you see how this can be absolutely plausible?

I think that this would be the ultimate move by TPTB.

Respect,

AS

I totally get what you're saying here. Part of me thinks though that TPTB love conspiracy theorists. Say we come up with 1,000 crazy ideas, half of which are really true. Because of the half that are wrong, they get to devalue the entire package and therefore devalue anything we get behind.

Ahh now we are getting at why I get agitated at nonsensical conspiracies. Governments do indeed lie. However, they do not always lie.. The impression from all the conspiracies flying around is that every single syllable uttered by western governments, particularily US and UK, is a lie. Highlighting this fact allows true lies to be hidden behind a volume of nonsense conspiracies.

We will NEVER get to the truth whilst we invent conspiracies for everything.

This is why people like myself get frustrated at the total ignorance expressed by the followers of nonsense conspiracies. Rabid followers of those conpiracies are now a tool that government conspirators rely on.

Well, yes, technically. It's just that very recently, the Conspiracy Aware are being specifically and vehemently attacked above and beyond the normal stuff. And the label is "Crazy." "Insane." "Whackadoodle." None of which actually fits 99% of Us.

Yes ... I think so too! the problem is is that those of us who have our head on right are being lumped with those who are WAY out there (sorry if I offended anyone). therefore we considered as one even though this may not be the case.

Actually, it's not so much "lumped," as it is the few real crazies are being focused on and used as "poster children" for the Conspiracy Aware.

All of this most definitely adds to the fact that we a considered 'nuts'. Why listen to us? Why care about anything we care about?

Yeah, well, We have Them on the run if They feel the need to go forth and paint this picture so aggressively. If They really caught Osama and the BC wasn't to easy to deconstruct - They would be ignoring Us. But with those two fails, We are swelling in numbers and They are therefore worried. And thus this recent attack.

I wouldn't call most people here conspiracy theorists.....I'd call many people truth and fact seekers, and in America, we are still, barely allowed to voice our opinions. they'll take that away soon to, however.

Yes, the campaign against those of us who think for ourselves, who value common sense, who ask intelligent questions and who don't blindly swallow the government dross which is continually being thrown at the public, has been ramped up.

Remember what doublespeak is - they are falsely accusing US of doing exactly what THEY ARE DOING.

The psychotic warmongers always need scapegoats - like fake terrorists, fake terrorist attacks, etc. .... and now they are creating fake enemies called 'conspiracy theorists' and ramping up the propaganda war.

BUT they will not silence the alternative community. Trying to stop it will be like trying to push a balloon into a cup.

There is no central, co-ordinating group for them to attack, we are everywhere, in every corner of the globe, we are autonomous and independent, we are united despite a multitude of different views, and we are strong and very, very determined. For every one of us you see on a forum, there are hundreds of others, speaking out invisibly.

To the power mongering, evil-pedalling satanists - I say with confidence, silence isn't an option for us. 'YOU WILL FALL BEFORE WE DO'..

I am from England, but I guarantee what starts off over there will happen here too.

I have a right to express my opinion and I will do so.

“Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did.” – Sophie Scholl

I made a thread touching upon these things.

Go back to bed America your government has figured it out

I disagree with you on several counts.

First, I believe that at least 95% of what the government tells the people is lies, or spun in a way which distorts the truth, or is presented as one thing when, in fact, it's another, or is presented 'for the good of the people' when it is to protect the status quo of the satanists and their banks and corporations.

Even the judicial system is a HUGE fraud, knowingly perpetrated on the people by the Judiciary and the Gubberment.

Secondly, it doesn't matter if we don't always get it right. We very often do get it right, or close to being right,
but the main point is that they KNOW they are under constant scrutiny, and this is really rattling them.

Despite its faults, the alternative community is doing a great job and it is growing fast. Look how fast ATS has grown recently. And the MSM is now taking more notice of it than it used to...and hey, to use a typical strategy of TPTB themselves - no publicity is bad publicity.

DO NOT LET government propaganda about 'crazies' scare you into believing the alternative community is at risk of being obliterated through 'crazies'. THEY ARE LAUNCHING A PSYOPS AGAINST US, DON'T LET THEM SOW THE SEED OF DOUBT IN YOUR MIND, because ALL the evidence suggests that the influence of the alternative community is GROWING EXPONENTIALLY AND UNITING GLOBALLY.

Why are they attacking us? BECAUSE WE ARE STRONG.

Keep the focus on staying strong and getting stronger.

Perhaps it's really time to abandon the name THEY gave us, and adopt one of our own.

We're not Conspiracy Theorists, we are Responsible, Investigative Citizens. We do our due diligence. And we do this because the Government lies and the MSM doesn't do Investigative Journalism or Truth Seeking any more.

We don't need to fight back against their accusations by defending ourselves, but by stating the truth about the situation and keeping the focus on THEIR crimes.

Maybe.
But I find when someone _really_ becomes famous
everyone calls them by one name, and one name only.

I look forward to the day in the near future when we are just plain old "Theorists."

I don't think there is a war on conspiracy theories in general. However, there certainly is a war against smear campaigns disguised as conspiracy theories...and rightfully so.

I can refuse to be put in that box at every opportunity, and assert that I am a Responsible Investigative Citizen asking common sense question - and why.

Smear campaigns are one of the things the Gubberment does extremely well. They do it all the time. And now they've embarked on a smear campaign against Responsible Citizens who want the truth.
