Thats kind of what I have been posting on my facebook since this happened that we americans have a blood lust and people want to see the pictures of him dead and probably would of danced on his dead body we are mostly a country of barbarians I think.

Thankfully, not all of us Americans are like this. There are a lot of us who have taken the news in a solemn way. i have seen no boasting to be seen in my own personal circle of friends, family, and acquaintances as of yet. It's sad that the voices of the humble can be so easily drowned out by the voices of those who not so humble. There have also been a lot of news opinion pieces that question these Americans' need to celebrate someone's death.

You obviously have no respect for justice. Explaining to us the kind of man he was is still no argument for why it was okay to kill him before he was tried and convicted. That's how we do things in America.

Two reasons why capture trumps assignation;
1 Death extends to Osama the privilege of Martyrdom to cap a successful life as a hero to many. They may have dumped him at sea to prevent a shrine on land for his faithful but killing him in the first place only serves to fuel the fervor of fanaticism.
2 Death does nothing to counter the more mythical aspect of Osama but gives a continuation of the mysterious master mind. Thus leaving no counter action against the passions that drove him and continue to drive his supporters. Effectively He is now an icon and cannot be killed though his body has expired.

Capture and imprisonment, Fair treatment under international law etc... undermines the movement he represents.
The moral high ground is a powerful place to be.
You cant kill all the terrorists. One dead terrorist spawns another to carry the fight.
They dont hate us because we like TV and Mcdonalds and porn. They hate us because we are expansionists. They believe we are knowingly eating up the rest of the world in an endless orgy of greed. You know what, they are right.

2 kids i knew was on one of those plans,8 and 10 as well as a local teacher.

They had just won an art contest ,they was just going to try to win in the regional finals ,who would of ever thought that winning, and talent of ones soul could come to an end like that…I get real emotional when stoned heart falls heavy upon my thoughts .I hate when kids are killed ,I hate it with a passion.

This is reality. I know what the real reasons are behind such much global tensions and so much terror in America. No matter what I must not forget that even though I know alot I am still part of the lower class of America who is suppose to feel terror as a result of a global elite scheme taking place. I could care less what Obama or Osamas believes are and wether they are working for a higher agenda or not. All I know is that we the people are the one affected by major decisions, and if we let terror control us then terrorist become stronger. There is no fear in my heart so I say Great Job America!. After all I must know all the faults my country has but I am still an inhabitant here, and I must defend my country.

I personally think Bin Laden is nothing more than a "staged boogeyman" to scare everyone. In fact, who knows me most likely doesn't even exist. We have all seen the "guy" and heard all kinds of threats from him ON VIDEO. The secrecy around the guy and the inability for ANYONE to spot him anywhere for 10 years despite a 25 million dollar bounty on his head. The bounty was most likely so high because they KNEW that no one would find a guy who didn't exist. You may be asking, well who was that guy in all of those photos? Hollywood could create that guy in 4-6 hours any day of the week.....what do you think our government could do. It just wreaks of a contrived storyline and an "evil doer" to be the bad guy, while in all actuality the guys on the white steed sent to save the day are really the bad guys.....that is called a "twist" in the story. When the CIA was first hunting for this guy, they spent millions to find him, creted the bounty on his head and still nothing yet, right after the bombings just a little no-name journalist walked right in and got an interview with this Bin Laden.


I don't think I need to prove what Hollywood can do, but I will to prove a point by showing you just what one of us average people can do.

Just sayin' it could easily be done and the government seems to really get off on testing just how stupid we really are so they can mock us. I think Bin Laden is nothing more than an actor on a stage of high-classed criminals. When he is to be used...on with the makeup, when he is to disappear or die.....no makeup. Yet the world is terrified at will and convieniently whenever the government wants something to happen. Or in this case convientiently killed when elections are at the doorstep.

How can Australians be considered traitors when they aren't Americans? Are you that naive and uneducated?

Australians are engaged in war in Afghanistan and Iraq and have been recipients of terrorism when many of us were targeted and murdered in the Bali Bombings, purely for our support of the US. Australias alliance with the US is hardly under question or scrutiny, we have blindly folllowed and done as we are told

The SMH article, isnt indicative of the news reports, Watching and reading pretty much all of it, it is post scripted and sourced from US media and AP reuters, and really I can see barely any difference what the Australian media is feeding the populace compared to what the US outlets are feeding everyone.
