Osama Buried at Sea...within 24 hours. Really?

I think there's a number of truths that are available here.

Osama Bin Laden is blatantly not in a position to disprove the official line so any thoughts that he's still kicking it somewhere, alive and well can be pretty heavily disputed. If he were, what better way to shed the American government in a bad light and to build up terrorist morale than to realise a new video, proving it all to be a lie?

So the only options really are that he IS dead, or that he's unable to prove he's not, ie. he's been captured.

As far as I see it, there's three possibilities:

1. The official line is true and everything they've told us is spot on (very unlikely).
2. He died a long time ago, but for some reason they've decided that now is the time to create this bull. As some have suggested, it could be a precursor to a false flag event (scary thought but the more I think about it, the more likely it seems) or perhaps to help rebuild support for Obama after recent events.
3. They DID find him in Pakistan as reported but he wasn't killed, and instead captured for interrogation/*coughs* torture to find out everything he knows. (My hubbys thoughts on it!)

I would be kind of surprised that they'd just kill a man they have been hunting for ten years, just like that. He could be a wealth of information as to the location of his second-in-commands and any future planned attacks (whilst I don't believe he was behind 9/11, it would be naive to think he hasn't been responsible for any smaller-scaled attacked) and even if he was wielding a firearm, they could have disarmed him through non-fatal shots. Announcing he's dead and there's no body will not only encourage the media and people of the western world to not look deeper into it, but also for Osama's supporters to not go searching for him. That way they can keep him for as long as they like and torture him for as long as they like.

To be honest, I'm leaning a little more towards number 2, which may be proven in the weeks to come if something major does happen, but I think hubs came up with some pretty good points for number 3.

i heard reports all this happend a week ago? so what is it

If Obama was lying and Osama was actually still alive, Osama could just take a picture of himself with tomorrows newspaper proclaiming his death and then Obama would be screwed

I think they dumped him at sea, so that he wouldn't have a burial place, so people can't come around and worship him.

This being called an Islamic tradition is annoying. It's not a tradition, it's something that happens in very very very extreme circumstances; basically it's a rule that's never ever been applied in Islam, and they somehow managed to dig up that rule and apply it. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the only time it's ever been applied in the one and a half thousand years of islam.

A load of bull# from the government covering up the whole situation by taking advantage of alot of the people's ignorance regarding islam.

This story is true, and I came into these threads thinking you were all celebrating about what a great thing this is for America. Why can't you guys not be skeptics for once? I know it's true that he's dead and stuff.

Also, they tested his sister's brain tissue or something to the body found before it was buried at sea, and it was indeed his remains.

The have a picture of the compound up on Yahoo.com It states they took the picture today. So I'm wondering why everybody is complaining that they torched it. One thing is for certain beyond any doubt. The clown is dead. I was skepical when I heard about the burial at sea. They don't want to offend the Muslims. By their relgion he has to be buried within 24 hours or before the next prayer.

They have pictures.I'm sure they will release them but they will have to touch them up. Why? Well because his brain is showing because half his head where his left eye used to be is gone. But still nobody would believe it on here. Even If they didn't touch it up.

If they had video. Nobody on here would believe it. If they had video of him introducing himself and then being shot nobody on here would believe it.

I say nobody. But I really mean all the people that have been wrong for the past ten years and now because they planted him would have to admit they were wrong. The man was a 6'4 inch Arab with blue lips. He wouldn't be hard to Identify.

Come one Guy's and Girls you guys are way to intelligent to think absolutely everything is a conspiracy. What would the point be? To rally the dollar? well that didn't work to well. They could never claim DNA match and have him pop back up. lol. He's dead I don't care when or how. As far as him being killed 10 years ago.. how would ya explain the video's of him mentioning current events in them.. I guess they were planned? Come one no operation goes off without something changing. Let's all climb back down to reality. Because there is stuff going on. But I doubt this is much of a realistic topic.

I think the most likely truth is that they raided OBL's son's house and whacked the son (only).
Maybe they already knew or were almost certain OBL was already dead.

So they use this raid to trump (heh) up "they got Osama".

To believe that the body was discarded in such a way (to honor Sharia or whatever!) is beyond unbelievable.

How long does it take to confirm a DNA test?

Obviously, they did it in less than 24 hours, but I was under the impression it took much longer. From what I’ve read it normally takes around 5-7 days and if it is a top priority 72 hours. I'm assuming they had a bunch of people working on it with the best technology so I guess it's possible to do it in under a day, but it still begs to question and adds to the conspiracy.

Im very hung up on the DNA testing. I assume they had forensics on scene and all the equipment to do the testing/mapping and get the results in hours. I know results can be found quickly if need be - but I thought it was more like 72 hours to obtain quick results....yet they received results in about 12 hrs. Im curious the testing they did, equipment used and so on....

Or he could have been dead for a while and the government decided now to announce his death.

The thing is that this story is seething with questions. We all should know by now that the government line is almost always bullcrap.

What is the end game of all of this?

Nope. I was typing at the same time as you apparently. This is one of the major things that is bugging me.....
Im tempted to contact my old forensics professor to find out if it is possible to map DNA THAT FAST. Im sure there is some technology that would allow it...but it must be only used by FEDS for emergency situations...

And that kind of pisses me off since labs are backed up all over the country. Getting DNA results for everyday crimes is a pain in the ass...and takes forever.

No but they had all the testing equipment available and set up right before the raid.

Why is it unbelievable? Some Clown burns a book. His book might I add and the lunitics kill 8 people and behead two. If they had desecrated their Holy warriors body (other than the double tap to the face. lol) What do you think would have happened?

What would you have had them do with the body? No matter where they put it. It would have required constant guard. Just think about it. They did the smartest thing they could have. What happens if they had brought the body and buried it in the US? A war to get the body back. No country on earth wanted that body. Or worse what if someone just took the body.He'd become a God ya that's a smart idea. And they have what 4000 witnesses that they buried the clown at sea. these witnesses are not going to be in the service forever. It's too big to cover up.Besides whats the point? They will have to release the pics. Just to get his followers to believe. There is no way they would be stupid enough to claim his death and his body and a DNA match and their be a chance he's seen on earth again. That would be suicide.

Me personally I would have beheaded him and put his head on the presidents limo. As a hood ornament. But that's why I'll never get elected. Well that and I'd never take the job.
