Im very hung up on the DNA testing. I assume they had forensics on scene and all the equipment to do the testing/mapping and get the results in hours. Is it possible - maybe its even a test strip that looks like a bandaid - lay it on the body and if it turns blue, its a match.

Interesting this DNA timing thing is a small detail to hang a whole conspiracy on - maybe they had a retina scan? Maybe they had known biometerics and a device to measure with. My brain can get around that - but this burial at sea stuff . . . not so much.

is there any pictures of the corpse. If not this all a load of

Of course that photo is a fake. A simple 3 second google search would tell anyone this. That photo WAS NOT released by the government as proof of his death. That photo has been circulating for a few years now... but the typical ATS'er believes what they want without doing some simple research...

I'm sure they anticipated that, and in due time we'll see pictures, and I bet they took souvenirs like hair and skin samples. I would even guess they mailed his testes to W for his mantle

if you go by the reasoning that they took the body to deny him and sort of heroes burial or any martyrdom, then you have to ask yourself, what do we do with the body now ?

you can't make any gruesome public displays, then you lose the moral high ground.

so how do you dispose of the body ? a burial at sea seems reasonable as it serves the purpose of denying him a heroes burial, and you don't have to be responsible for safe guarding it, and it ensures no embarrasing gruesome public displays

just get rid of it

I don't believe everything I am told... when did I ever say I did? I just don't automatically scream FAKE at everything I'm told like an ignorant fool. I do research and I look at both sides of the issue and make an educated conclusion with the facts I am given. Unlike some here that just see a picture and scream conspiracy without looking to see where that picture may have come from...


PS... the main reason I am here is because you people make me laugh. I enjoy reading some of the crazy things you people come up with...

no one believes everything they're told. he's saying that despite any evidence, people will say it's faked. no matter what's provided, there's going to always be that group of people that will not believe anything "they" say, even if "they" are telling the truth.

And for those asking, "But why didn't they do X, Y, and Z just to dispel our doubts?" the answer is, they don't care about your doubts.

Not sure if you have been keeping up with this thread and the dozens of others but many of us DID believe the story at first concerning Obama's capture and death. Then we were given the most ridiculous claims conceivable and our minds were changed. Many admitted this story was the turning point in our perception of the official story.

Please search your heart and tell me if this makes ANY sense.

Now we are at the point where extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I can't possibly believe they would ditch the body of the world's most wanted man if their story was true. It is the most boldly ludicrous claim I have heard in a long time.

I'm going to need some serious proof to believe them. And I don't mean video footage of a body wrapped in a white sheet tossed into water. It's going to need to be convincing.

This news has left me with creeping sense of unease at the state of the world. Regardless of any conspiracy theories about whether Bin Laden was really killed or died years ago, or the character or guilt of the man himself, the USA has made a statement that they undertook a lethal covert operation in a sovereign nation, apparently without advising that nation's government first.

They killed their target by shooting him in the face, despite the fact that he had never undergone any kind of trial and the evidence linking him to the 911 attacks was circumstantial at best (see the 'sexed-up dossier').

This is greeted by baying jingoistic crowds and a compliant media who report these facts as reasonable, proper and the actions of a civilised society. Revenge is now deemed a proportionate response despite what the law of the land might say. Trials are now seen as contrary to justice, a quaint relic of a bygone age, no longer relevant in the harsh realities of our modern age. War is Peace, Ignorance is Strength.

The message is stark and simple. If America deems you to have done them wrong they will come for you in the night and kill you.

Regardless of international law.
Regardless of evidence.
Regardless of justice.
Regardless of national boundaries.

There is no moral ambiguity anymore. Might is right. The President now decides what is right and who is wrong. National sovereignty is no longer relevant. All must bow down.

Ok humor me here...I would like to hear from some moderate Muslims. Would you have been offended if the US government apologized and asked in advance for forgiveness explaining that we would be unable to follow Sharia law/custom to bury OBL within 24 hours? Carefully explaining to the faithful the importance of a positive identification of this criminal to the world community and that proper burial will take place after an autopsy and all questions are satisfied.
