I had to go look up that measuement to grasp the enormity of that. Thats insane. That would be a good one to try to distract from. BTW over what period of time would that be induced? per what?

So no more funding into Weather Sats either... SETI, NASA, do we see a pattern forming? Isn't there an article somewhere as well about the ISS being down to just basic operation? Very interesting.

Good point about the levy's. If you look at the storm rolling across the mid west right now it just HAS to be effecting the Mississippi even more so and raising the tide even higher. This of course would also tie in nicely with Fema's big move for requiring all those meals and water for a what did they call it? Oh yes, A Drill.

One of the other curious things to me is just the fact that they seem like they have known about this most of the day if you listen to what the msm has been saying. So why wait till this time of night really makes me wonder even more like the rest of you.

And speaking of Space and weather, this isnt just a run of the mill payload, or maybe it is, its not like they always tell us what is going up there but Im sue this could have some repercussions as well in its own $2 billion way.

The $2 billion Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a more than 15,000-pound (6,900-kilogram) device searching for cosmic- rays -- high-energy charged particles from outer space

Link for some info on that

It appears that all things space and atmosphere related are being shut down, severly underfunded and limited. I don't feel comfortable knowing those safeguards are not in place.

Yeah, they are cutting back on the things that made the U.S. stand out from other nations...we got ahead of the game by implementing those projects...why cut them? It's like they don't matter anymore...all they care about is oil and other resources...perhaps we should be looking at that?

If Osama's death is being used as a distraction (and it sure feels like it) something big is going to happen soon.

Obama says “Actionable military intelligence” was used.
Bin Laden was killed in a mansion outside Islamabad Pakistan and other family members were also killed..

Warning - Graphic Image - Not for sensitive readers

Fox news said he was shot in the head so this picture is probly the real photo released in Pakistan.
And other family members? Did the Bin Ladens own a mansion in Pakistan?

I actually just finished the article, thats 400 miliseverts!, 1000 can kill a man if being exposed to for an extended time (over an hour).

This might be whats being covered up?

Will the japanese soon start getting much more sick from the radiation?

edit to add:

The limit value for professional radiation exposure since 1 August 2001 is 20 mSv per year. The occupational life dose should not exceed 400 mSv (§56 German Radiation Protection Ordinance).

Yeah and don't they have like longer school days there? It makes no sense to me they would do that. If China was doing that it would make more sense cause they are bastards to their peoples.

Or something MUCH bigger than even that...Oil is how we were able to produce the things you just mentioned. This is bigger than that I think...senses say so. My experience...instincts usually never steer you askew.

I do agree that this seems awfully convenient in a timing sense. The world seems to be crazy across all 7 continents right now from weather to war, and it wouldn't be surprising to me if is covering up something else that's much larger. Seems far to well orchestrated for a Sunday night at this hour. C'mon, I mean really ... Brian Williams -- you just "happened" to be standing by late on a Sunday night? Far too well produced for real "breaking news". Tisk tisk MSM.

Mid east term-oil? Celestial event? I don't think so... how about Asia and the rumors/theories that tomorrow (may 2nd) will be "black Monday" in our market's due to China and Russia dismissing the US dollar? If this China/Russia theory has ANY truth to it, whatsoever, is this just a wag-the-dog to really our markets to gain momentum at the opening bell which might offset a potential crash? Just a theory, but plausible.

Black Monday, May 2nd, China's Plan

just some food for thought.

Bingo! Gold star for you my friend, my thoughts exactly! If not Monday then real soon, Bunch of shorts by JP Morgan are about to default in the silver market and all hell could break loose if they do. This may be an attempt to rally the dollar and get silver prices to head down to cover those shorts.

Something else for you. This either means terror attack or FF (if those arn't the same thing)

London (AFP) April 25, 2011 The mastermind of the 9/11 attacks warned that Al-Qaeda has hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe which will unleash a "nuclear hellstorm" if Osama bin Laden is captured, leaked files revealed Monday.

You know what...

You just sparked an idea, and this would be other than ordinary as these types of stories are usually broken to thwart the attention off of something. But...

What if...they did this as a boost attempt. The after effects of which would be that with this announcement, would come a sort of "exhale". Most of everything that is wrong with the world these days can for all intents and purposes be blamed solely on Osama Bin Laden who allegedly was responsible for the worst Terrorist attack in history.

By announcing his death, what if this is an attempt to try and turn it all around? Sort of a "ding dong the witch is dead" all is okay now approach. Start spending your money again and it's okay you're safe, he's dead, go live. This would be of course giving TPTB the benefit of the doubt that they are resorting to positive tactics to try and recover from their evident mistakes over the last 20 or so years.

I am skeptical, but since we're throwing scenarios out, this is as plausible as any.
