Getting fairly close to a half a gigaton now. I will work out a figure to confirm but the 9.0 was 2 Exajoules, aound 476 megatons, and each 7 is in the 2 to 11 megaton range. It may have hit the 500 megatons but I doubt it.

My problem with your thread is that you're passing off what Japanese scientists have been saying since March 11th as your own work, to make yourself look like some kind of clairvoyant.

You really do seem to have a comprehension problem.

First TA called the big one before the 11th, second this thread is about a specific quake and its implications. There was a quake on the southern triple junction and then...

I don't think you will find Japanese scientists talking about these two quakes specifically. Their interest is, and has been for some time, the Tokai quake to come and recently the concern over a further large quake in the Honshu off shore area. Neither of these are specifically the ones that TA has been talking about.

Try reading the thread before attempting to make yourself sound good to the detriment of another member who does have a great deal of knowledge on this topic. If you have a problem with the thread then by all means stop reading it. This is your prerogative.

The first time I visited the USGS website to examine the number of earthquakes to happen in the Japan region, the past "8-30 days" data wrongly displayed the data for March 9th(THE FIRST DAY OF LENT) to March 31st instead of the data it SHOULD HAVE DISPLAYED from March 13th to April 4/5. This "wrongly displayed" data allowed me to count how many earthquakes have happened in the Japan region so far. Coincidence or Sign?

I reiterate the signs to watch for:

1) 777 days have been alloted for the global economy/U.S. Stock Market so I would expect the US stock market to reach it's absolute highest point at the final minute the market is opened of this 777 day period...before the Good Friday destruction for the USA.

(The stock market's final minute of this period is at roughly 4:03pm April 21st(tomorrow)).

2) 7 earthquakes during Lent of magnitude 7.0 or higher for the Japan Region. Also 77 earthquakes during LENT of magnitude 6.0 or higher for the Japan region. Based on the signs/coincidences the United States earthquake is for April 22nd. The Japan quake would occur on either Good Friday, or the last day of Lent (April 23rd). That's nine more earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 or higher before the end of Lent for the Japan region.

The number 777 and 7:
777 represents God or Trinity.
USA Stock Market record: down 777 points on the Feast Day of the Archangels and all angels.
777 day period unto Good Friday/Earth Day/Massive earth-shattering earthquake day.
7 earthquakes of 7.0 or higher during Lent.
77 earthquakes of 6.0 or higher during Lent.
The Book of Revelations mentions 7 Spirits of God, 7 Angels pouring out 7 bowls of God's wrath, 7 seals of the apocalypse, 7 trumpets of the apocalypse, and the 7 last plagues sent by the 7 angels.

That warning for USA I believe serves also as proxy warning to Japan. With Japan's main warning involving another 6 earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 or higher before the end of Lent before the terrible climatic 77th quake. Also if the Good Friday quake hits the United States that itself is the biggest warning of all for Japan for this weekend.

Well I would guess it did it. Lifted the whole north coast over a few metres and dropped it down half a metre. That is some power, just as in Chile when the whole town of Conception was moved around 10ft.

As an indication of the power of the 9.0 it is roughly the equivalent of 10 Tasr Bombas, or 14000 times the combined energy of both the atomic weapons dropped on Japan.

I think we can't just dismiss the piddly little quakes. They are still ruptures of some kind and can be indicators of many things.

Here's a recent map from 4/15 to the 22nd:


The SSZ is in the red square I drew, but I did not want to draw the line cause it would cover up the activity there. But there IS activity there, and more than you can see, again, just from your favorite sources. And if you've done the homework on exactly where the 1923 epicenter was, you can see that there is activity there as well. All big enough to note, but all small enough to escape USGS/EMSC reporting.

I suppose we COULD call those aftershocks, 88 years later, from the 1923 Kanto quake. Well maybe you could. I won't though. It was a 7.9. Not very likely.

And there's a microswarm at the left SSZ plate juncture.

Japan has basically become a massive microquake swarm with aftershocks of all sizes up to 7+. Pretty insane.

I am looking at that SSZ though still buzzing with smaller quakes and threatening. I was hoping the quakes would spare Tokyo and just stop at the line in the first pic of the OP, fade away, and everything would be cool. But that has just not happened. They are indeed closing in on Tokyo. I don't see how anyone could even try arguing that.

I suppose I should do a cumulative map of what has occurred on the SSZ so far, so it easier seen.

Not being swept under the rug at all. News agencies are a business and must compete for customers and they need to keep people enticed with current news happenings to be successful. There isn't anything new coming out of the Japan disaster to keep people interested at the moment so they must find different sources to compete.
