Culture is shared so "our" seems appropriate.
If I was visiting a foreign country, I'd like to see really what that country is. If they just go about sanitizing everything by being PC, it just takes away the uniqueness.

This is about a culture? I thought it was about 1 school? Are you suggesting that this school is dictating what I call my colored eggs or are you being a little silly here?

Great but that has nothing to do with this. Easter is not an American culture things and if it were, this one school is not changing that in any way. Maybe I need to get rid of my non-Christian neighbors because they are ruining the culture for you. Your post made no sense. 1 school doing what they wat is not a culture. There are plenty of schools that do not celebrate easter.
Hillel Community Day School - guess what they call their Easter eggs. Just take a guess. Hint, it is a private Jewish school. You are telling me that them pesky Jews are ruining American culture too? Did you miss the big Easter movie that is number 1 at the box office in the US? They call Easter "Easter" in the movie and everything. If you wan American culture, you will find plenty of Easter eggs, and plenty of people that do not celebrate Easter.

Is PC limited to just this school? No, it expands beyond that. PC is a trend, and that does affect culture.
Easter is a part of American culture, how could it not be part of the culture?
Non-Christian neighbors are also part of the culture. The problem is when you take that difference between people, and try to homogenize it.

While 'spring spheres' sounds a bit silly to me, Easter is undeniably a religious holiday. Why do I have the feeling if the kids were forced to celebrate a Jewish or Muslim holiday, you'd also call that "political correctness"?
By the way, is it political correctness to object to someone calling your mother a nasty name to her face? If not, explain why not.

I'm talking about the broader picture of political correctness in the country. I'm not saying that "spring sphere" usage will spread.
Spring spheres, no body is a winner in that case.

Everything is terrible to everyone! Everyone is offended or whatever. I'm a Jewish convert I do not celebrate Easter but I will respect people who do!

Exactly. I'm not Jewish or Christian but people can celebrate their holidays however they want. Some of the traditions are quite lovely, even if you aren't a part of the religion.

"At the end of the week I had an idea to fill little plastic eggs with treats and jelly beans and other candy, but I was kind of unsure how the teacher would feel about that," Jessica said.
She was concerned how the teacher might react to the eggs after of a meeting earlier in the week where she learned about "their abstract behavior rules."
"She said that I could it as long as I called this treat 'spring spheres.' I couldn't call them Easter eggs."
'Oh look, spring spheres'
