[COUNTER ARGUMENT] The Wayseer Maniftesto Scam

Fair is fair - both sides of this should be discussed.

In any case, it's my belief that one doesn't have to subscribe to, or pay money for:
Spiritual Enlightenment.

Proceed with caution.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can't buy food with words. That still takes money. They think their words are worth money, and yes, I highly question their motivation, but I do think it's more than just being greedy. There are bills to be paid.

Couldn't they just say donate? Wouldn't that work. As inspirational as it is, I think a lot of people would DONATE instead of paying a FEE.

That's where they #'d up.

They'd probably have a lot more coming in just because of their lack of affiliation with the mainstream. They chose to charge, and polarized a huge portion of their audience.

I thought the message in the video was inspiring. I'm not so easily inspired any more.

I also notice that there is a message on the site saying that if you can't afford the book. send them a note and they (whoever they are) will figure a way to get you a copy.

Again..I like the video..The ideas within it..But Beware of the underlying message, or truth. Search a little before you jump...At least one more time...

For example.."InCOME AT HOME DOT COM"
That is a HUGE Hannity sponsor......It took me quite a while, a searching to find out that it was...get this.....HERBALIFE...selling Herbalife...Remember that crap? MLM vitamins...

Unexplained Oil Spill Hits Gulf Coast AP Photo Slightly disconcerting: Officials in Louisiana say tar balls and oil are washing up on Gulf Coast shores across an area of more than 30 miles. Even stranger: They’re not sure where it’s coming from. Samples have been sent for testing to determine whether the oil comes from the Deepwater Horizon spill in April 2010. It’s unclear how soon results will be in. Meanwhile, the state is scrambling to get containment booms and skimmers to the area to mitigate the damage, and has asked for Coast Guard assistance. The good news? Even though oil has appeared over a large area, it’s relatively diffuse.

First impressions, kindred spirit vibe, intriguing and mildly exhilarating, but dampened by some cringe-worthy selections chosen to illustrate the message. I suspect this is aimed at an audience that may assimilate the visual clues differently. So I listened without watching. A bit better, but somehow more intensely desperate.

Haven't read the book, and the commerce angle, while defensible on some level, puts things in a different light and shouldn't be disregarded. As for the Jesus parts, I like my bible ala carte too, so that's not a problem. But if it boils down to something basically dualist, that's where I get off. Let me know how it ends.

Totally dig the message. It does seem like a site geared towards making
money though. However, great video...made some hairs stand on end. S+F

I hope that when people experience something inspiring, they take it to heart and apply to their lives and how they wish to live. That it's the message and not the manipulation, that is the strength. More often then not, people are led by the speaker. Most people want an easy out. They want someone to give them hope. To give them love and joy. They don't want to work for it.Most people don't ever realize that they have always had the key, within. That's where I'm coming from, take it as it is.

Anyone else notice that most of the backhanded comments in this thread are from members who joined in 2011 or december?

/on topic

This rebelion against a dishonest establisment has been secretly brewing since the seventies. We thought experimenters and story crafters knew that the [color=gold]one thing that stood between

what is said and
what we actually want to talk about

[color=gold]was the TV and its all pervasive control over work place casual discussion. Through video games we have cured senility, given interactive control of entertainment, topled hollywood, and wrecked the fall seasons monopoly on hits.

Now a person can have a conversation
and be asured that one out of ten people will
have the capacity to be on topic. Congradulations.

Now for phase two.
Commoditization of hand crafted art.

Or like the video says. We can continue to think that destruction is cool. The choice is ours.

There are so many people I would like to thank for this thread. Let's see the OP for posting the video and more importantly you for transcribing it. Star for you and flag for OP.
I seem to remember a simpsons episode of "the way." If my memory serves me right homer and the kids get sucked into "the way" and Marge has to come rescue them.
The idea is great and as long as you do not have to believe in an external power this could be a great movement.

I also remember from my christian slavery (and abuse as a child) a baptist youth program just like this being proposed in the early 80's. The church decided against it saying it was radical & encouraged youth depravity allegedly. I mean jesus called his ministry "the way, the truth and the life." You don't get too much more blatant than that. If I could go back to the 80's and get the tract I would.
The $40 price tag is point and case and reeks of evangelism. They could give this away like the Gideons if they wanted to.

What I propose is somebody joining and getting high in the organization and then leaving to start a free version. But I guess that was done 2010 years ago and look what they did to him (and her).
*
Ps (sorry if I seem a little bitter I have issues with evangelism. I was raised like a Ned Flanders kid.)

What do you do for a living?

Why don't you give that away, like the Gideons?

if you look further than the initial hype and hysteria you will soon find the ugly head of the bible soon appears and we all know what a controlling instrument that is thought ATS members where more savvy apparently not lol seen as its about rule breakers why would one submit to religion strange if you ask me but will agree cracking vid catchy and all soon sucks you in very devious as well anyway if thats your thing enjoy

Sorry you seem confused.

I'm "buying" nothing.
I appreciated the words that were spoken/written, and I gave thanks for sharing them.
That is all.

I don't do 'religion' or anything else that requires me to be in a 'flock'.,

I simply appreciate meaningful words and thoughts..
and that is exactly what was shared here.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Quit trying to turn simple., good things into more hateful, evil $%^&.
If these idiots are attempting to profit off others.. that is their bad..
and only idiots will be fooled/taken in by it.

But just because someone is trying to profit from others.. ( i strongly dislike these people)
doesnt mean that they don't hold some meaningful thoughts and words within them.

Accept and embrace the words for what they are, ... or not.

This doesnt mean "accept and take to heart everything said".
No of course not,
Take only that which resonates with you, and leave the rest for someone else if they need it.

Stop assuming things , then you yourself might be more 'Savvy' lol

Take the message... and forgive the messenger. Don´t be ashamed for your previous post. YOU ARE A WAYSEER or ATSeer !! (i know where do you want to go) You don´t even need to read the book to do that.

Even though your post is totally off topic and will probably be deleted soon, I have to say:
How don't we know that the dispersant used didn't just send the oil into the future a little bit and that is why it is showing up now. Time flow disruption to the future is available now if you have the money.
On a note relative to the thread, hopefully the wayseers will not get WAY layed in 7 years.

sometimes its nice to think that the global consciousness will just magically shift to something along these lines. in reality, nothing will change and we will destroy ourselves.
