I'm wondering a couple of things here. First off, will you be making an appropriate bag for your wife as well? And two what will your bag weigh? After all you will need to carry this bag for a long period of time. You need to just go for a hike that will last several hours, just to see if you can carry the weight of your bag for extended periods, and if it's to much in an ideal situation, how hard will it be to go on with it in a real situation. Read up on thru-hiking, ultralight backpacking, or even regular backpacking. Get experience with your equipment. And, cause I can't remember if it has been mentioned, make sure you have a good set of broken in boots.

Good Job !

A few comments if I may....... (and I apologize if I make a mistake in translation, you have different names for some things than we do over here.)

Something to consider, rice and noodles take quite a bit of water to prepare. (Which is fine if you have plenty.)

Practice with the snares BEFORE you need then to survive......

You may have better quality products than we do but I have never had luck with the crank flashlights lasting long.

smear some Vaseline into your cotton wool to make it waterproof and burn longer

I would stick with just the stronger crossbow. Smaller ones are not that powerful and it's just another thing to carry.

I carry an aluminum 1 quart sauce pan in my BOB to boil water in. It's light and you pack other stuff inside so it takes really no room up in your pack

And I don't even begin to know what a "Billy can" is ????

i would secure many many darts for those bows. I would also save my dryer lint. Super light weight and highly flammable. Slingshots are another easy to pack item. Get the bands and make the handle. You can become very efficient with these with minimal practice!

Waterfilter.

Collapsable saw, Buck has a light, good one.

Folding army shovel.

Multitool

Slingshot for hunting small game, always ammo in the form of little rocks.

A compass.

Army poncho, is multi purpose.

OK thanks for that , but I'm not planning on killing anyone it's not in my nature.
Also I would not steal from anyone either, even though I mentioned poaching
in my early post I think I should explain. The egg factory that's near me has four sheds
each containing 20,000 birds there are four sites so that's 320'000 birds.
So I kind of figured in a SHTF scenario they're won't be anyone around to look after them
and they would end up starving to death or resort to cannibalism (which they do).
So in a way I'm actually saving they're lives well about a dozen of them anyway.

As for unprepared people I would want to help them rather than kill them.
Of course there will be some who would want to steel your gear but I would have to be in that
situation to know how I would react to this.
But I wholeheartedly believe the majority of people are good, and that small communities will be a life saver.
whether we like it or not we need other humans with different skills so we can thrive again.
So please don't give up on your fellow man you may need him one day.

Yes will be catering for my family I have a bike trailer that will carry the bulk of everything.
As for the weight of the bag I think I could carry between 10kg to 15kg comfortably all day.
Oh and thanks for the advice especially about boots there's nothing worst than blister,s

1: I live in a small industrial town in north west of England that's surrounded by countryside.
There are plenty of wild rabbits, squirrels and fisheries around so food shouldn't be a problem.

1a: The isle of Anglesey it's in north Wales, It's a beautiful place full of livestock also your never far from the coast so access to sea fishing is really easy.

2: I couldn't really say what would make me leave, I suppose if my family is being threatened or lack of resources.

Very nice. You should certainly be able to walk around for a good while carrying that weight. Just some advice for boots, I've found that the boots that are made for the military are fairly good. I spent 8 hours pounding around in my Bellevilles, after having worn them for only an hour, so basically fresh out of the box. No blisters, and while I may have tough feet (prolly not tho) that says a lot. And they've saved me from messed up ancles plenty of times.
