Both sides of this are just as bad.. On one side you have a pastor burning the religious text of another religion to call out muslim countries for not allowing.. Wait for it.. Freedom of worship.. ironic huh? Then on the other side you have people killing people that had nothing to do with the Koran burning.

So Afghans riot and kill UN staff, burn US flag and MSM and ATSers blame it on a Florida pastor? Looks like the western establishment warmongers are attempting to put blame on one Florida pastor of a congregation of 50 for the uprising of afghans which was most likely sparked by the recent release of those kill/trophy photos and the ongoing murders of hundreds of thousands of innocent Afghans over a 10-year illegal occupation. its so much more than all of what has been said in this thread, this...person, knew what he was doing, he has had long enough to think about it and consider the implications and he made his choice, whats done is done

Has he "let the genie out of the bottle"? It would seem to me that the Arab lands needed to all find a uniting cause during this period of unrest, i do not think this was it, and if it was.....

This is one of those points in history that we always seem to get stuck in, as if it is our destiny to destroy ourselves, my rational thought tells me that this will all blow over, but my gut tells me something else.
But i can say that fighting amongst ourselves over this is no better than what has happened, do you beleive that people should be able to express themselves or do you want them to all do things your way? We all need to work harder on this point in our lives when things go wrong, it is easy to get swept away by our emotions and our fears but in the end we need to accept our differences and respect them as a part of the uniqueness of humanity.
Once again i find My thoughts wishing better for the families who have lost loved ones...this is happening too often

Senseless killing.. Barbaric. From watching everything going on these days, civil wars everywhere, nuke plants melting down, and NO ONE is helping. That concerns the entire planet. WHY hasn't every single country on this planet gone to help?

Muslims only get outraged when their stuff is messed with, otherwise acts against other religions, by them, are fine. They do the same over cartoons and mere words.

While I agree and feel he should be held accountable for inciting religious zealots. How does a pastor not know to respect other peoples religion. What kinda religious man does a thing like this?

The REAL stupidity lies in the murders. Riots killing and beheading two people because somebody burnt a book? Talk about a lack of intelligence? I know there are examples of other religions like Christianity having the same type of people but come on that was at the very least hundreds of years ago. I just don't get why people care what other people believe. It's really sad.

They just proved his point.

Like calling somebody an asshole and then that asshole beats you up. Probably should t go around calling people assholes but only an asshole would beat somebody for calling him names.

So, let me get this straight. These people get all worked up because some whackjob redneck decides to burn a book. However, they do not get worked up over their country being occupied for ten years and their innocent friends and family members being senselessly slaughtered.

And by the way, can someone tell me why there wasn't such an uproar when Israel allegedly intentionally bombed a U.N. outpost and killed four U.N. employees back in 2006?

Not all muslims are the same. It is mostly in poor and uneducated countries where extremism is strong.
