I find it hilarious how people are automatically shrugged off and labeled crazy when they tell others about their UFO experience but I would LOVE for people to shug these highly educated people off the same way.. They can't do it.

Some of the deepest believers in aliens and UFOs are aviators and many educated members of the aerospace community. Many astronauts have seen strange craft orbiting the our planet, moon, space stations; moving in ways and at speeds impossible for anything made on this planet.

The number of habitable planets that may exist in this galaxy alone go up every year, and who knows how long intelligent life has existed and evolved on them.

I never knew until reading your post just how many believable witnesses have commented publicly on their own sightings of alien craft. These are witnesses whose credibility is without doubt, and have outstanding reputations to back them up. Now to do some research! S.&F. to you, mate!

I read all these quotes, but can't help but wonder why major contact hasn't happened? How can they travel so far and not want to socialize or cause destruction whichever is their purpose? If reports are common, why are they just flying around observing?
The only reason I can think of is how humans are to mice. We have mice in tanks or cages, we don't communicate, scientists inject them with "medicine" and others have them be a host to grow human ears. Are we the mice to aliens? Is that why their is no contact? Do aliens feel that we are unintelligent? Or are we like dolphins to them? They see us as intelligent creatures, like we see dolphins as intelligent creatures?

Just some things to think of.

Maybe there is no open contact between species because our wise leaders struck a deal with aliens not to openly communicate with public. Or perhaps aliens sees us as too primitive. Or maybe aliens are waiting for something to happen or from us before making open contact.

You never know, it can be a Star Trek Prime Directive thing. Maybe our civilization is on a cusp of jumping to the next stage of evolution. It is in this critical stage that determines if a species will A) destroy themselves; or B) survive and evolve. If a species fails and destroy themselves, why bother making contact? But, why not observe and see what happens?

I agree that these aliens most likely think we are too primitive for their communication and only make contact with the top elite of the world. It is also a theory that we actually came from aliens and they have been watching and helping us through this process the entire time. Look into Robert Dean and his experiences with aliens.. He was a high ranking militray figure who had top security clearance, and actually went public stating we have been having communications with aliens since the beginning of time. He even stated aliens created all organized religions.. Crazy stuff.

Travel far by whose standards? Centuries ago it took months to cross the ocean. Today, it takes hours. As far as we know, other intelligent life forms could be so ahead of us, but soooooooooo ahead of us, that we are not being visited by them. We are being visited by their cows.

This is all theoretical of course, but maybe there are laws that regulate contact with a underdeveloped world or developing world. Maybe, they have to be asked for disclosure. just brainstorming.

I highly doubt they would risk their families reputation for "stories." They have nothing to gain by going public in their old ages, and probably want the world to know the truth before their secrets die with them.

I want to believe in ETs, I really do. It would be cool to know we're not alone. But I'm skeptical by nature, and as much as I want to believe it I just have to question why the only "evidence" is a bunch of fuzzy photos and shaky video clips. With all the sightings how can it be that there is not one single good high resolution photo or video that hasn't been debunked? It's frustrating to see all of these officials come forward offering their opinions that ETs are real, yet even with their high security clearances they can offer no evidence either. It really just comes down to personal opinion for the most part, and that's not good enough to stand on its own. Here's hoping that some day ETs will make themselves known to us, and that they won't have cookbooks under their arms

HAHAHA i too am hoping the cook books are absent. As far as the HD images and video missing, the issue is a two headed snake.

1. Expectation on the ability of our worldly devices are too high.
2. We have to consider the possibility of classified confiscation.

Consider another possibility. These quotes are for the most part entirely bogus, conjured up by people selling ideas to a gullible audience who never, EVER double-check any claim that they feel super-smart believing. The actual astronauts named have little or nothing to do with the words attributed to them.

Exceptions:

Mitchell believes stories people have told him about Roswell. Never in outer space.

Cooper talks about a UFO encounter he had in Germany in 1951, never in outer space.
No UFO researcher has ever risked actually checking up on the story, for fear of losing a good propaganda tool.

McDivitt briefly spotted what he took to be an unidentified satellite.

Not all that impressive when it boils down to stories that can be checked out.

Where are the aliens?

SavedOne, if you are skeptical, there are so many thoughts and theories to convince you otherwise. But only you can make that change.

Check out this link, titled Atlas of the Universe. It provides a nice view of our universe starting from 12.5 lightyears from our sun to 14 billion lightyears away. With this, you can have a better understanding of just how BIG (and I do mean B-I-G) our universe is. And knowing just how big our universe is, it is too arrogant or narrowminded to believe humans are the only living species in the universe.

I saw this from the National Press Club on the History Channel. If you have time to watch its about 90 mins long I think. There were many many credible people at this meeting of the Natl Press Club.

At the risk of being redundant, Their are words written in the bible that suggest human alien contact.

There is people who say they have seen UFO's

There is shaky photo/video

Personally I do not care as it does not enhance my life in anyway..
