Yes I saw this.

Apart from the pastor of that church being an idiot (not for the burning but becuase he's not a Christian) there is one glaring thing that stands out.

Muslims are violent. Their God is so obscure and fragile he gets hurt when a printed book of words is destroyed. keep in mind that for Christians the printed word of God is just a book. Having one, burning one, praying holding one - does absolutely nothing. The Bible 'itself' states that without the spirit the words are dead.

Mulsims on the other hand kill people over a book (or lots of other things). They are naturally violent and this event which 'outraged' them proves it. They burn US flags regularly to try to provoke but when a provocation comes their way they kill innocents.

This whole episode is about evil murderers and not about an obscure book burning. They wouldn't have known about the buring if it wasn't on UTube and obviously their "God' didn't tell them before they found out and is not big enough to deal with the pastor himself. Allah is a made up God. he has no power but that of fear. You control fear with violence and threat of death.

I'd love to see someone justify the killings over a book printed in the US, I'm sure some will.

Islam is a dead but angerous religion based on laws with no faith

I figure that the angry Muslims will not know what has hit them, if they really upset the Christians, and the Christians decide to stop turning the other cheek. Didn't the Christians win the last holy war. Don't the Christian types make most of the guns and bombs and have the most lethal toys other than everyday mob rule which appears to be what the angry Muslims do. Interesting times indeed.

Are you a christian? Or possibly a Catholic? (Same sh*t different smell) Well if you are or if your just about any religion, except maybe Buddhist... then your a hypocrite. Every religion has killed millions of innocent civilians and in my eyes religion worldwide should be banned.

That just goes to show that you probably don't know how to aim... A 7.62 FN FAL round to the head of any living creature is more then enough to send them into the dreams of the cosmos. Also what happens when someone is shooting back from more then 30yd?? You might as well throw the bullet at that range. As always a rifle is much more effective then a shotgun unless your going door to door, which in my eyes should be avoided at all costs since door to door has the highest fatality rate.

I can aim fine, and would never aim at the head of a grizzly bear with a 7.62 because it would do no good. That just goes to show you're not familiar with the skull of a grizzly bear. The bear would be picking your remains out of it's teeth with your FAL. You would have to break a bone in it's shoulder or upper arm, completely in order to stop it's charge. It would require a pretty epic shot, again, under extreme pressure since if you miss, you die a horrible death.

This topic is regarding a riot with crazed religious nuts armed with knives cutting heads off, not long range firefights. In a riot situation where people are trying to cut my head off, I'd take that AA with some buck shot.

I just processed a scene where a guy took 2 .25 cal rounds to the head at point blank range...one bounced off and tunneled under his scalp before going into the headliner of his SUV...the other went thru and landed on the back seat...he lived long enough to vomit and try to dial his cell....using enough gun is always a plus...having said that,if some SOB wants to cut off my head because of my passport,Ill take anything i can get...but I too love buckshot....and .308's...

It's noteworthy how this thread merely highlights all the Islamaphobes on ATS. A site that is supposed to be about 'conspiracies', and yet they all just accept this military maneuver hiding behind the pretext of 'muslim outrage' is actually about the burning of the Koran, and not the thinly veiled military maneuver it clearly is.

Exactly, and having enough gun for a charging, adrenaline fueled grizzly is not an easy feat. But that AA rapid fire shotgun would probably be the best bet, and like I said, what I would want if I were in front of one. Same with a situation where a crowd of people was trying to kill me at close quarters, as was the case in this incident. You don't want to pray and spray with a long range rifle, since you may very well kill innocent people outside the mob. Buck shot would offer good coverage, and not kill any babies in cribs a half mile away.

Exactly what we need..more bloodshed. Yahoo released an article about this stating that the reason for the attack was a response to the Koran burnings in Florida. In my opinion the burning of some books doesn't warrant the killing of any human beings. Not that i condone burning of any literature, although it reminds me of the book burning of the third reich in a way. Ignorance in religion is bliss to some i suppose...
