Killing civilians is always wrong, even if as a collateral damage. Killing them purposefully is just sick. And killing them because a religious book was burned, that is downright insanity.

But we already know that these "people" are primitive animals, brainwashed since birth. They are not even hiding it, death for insulting or leaving islam is often widely supported in their society, just look at relevant opinion polls. Extremism is the norm there, NOT minority opinion, contrary to the naive views of many western people.

Umm, really?
If we go by your thinking, im pretty sure the Afghans owe years of revenge style attacks against Americans and westerners alike.

well done sir, you condemn the killing of innocent civillians and then justify the killing of innocent civillians.
if they do what you say then afghans will think they are now justified to kill innocent civillians in revenge, and then you will recommned killing more innocent civillians, afghans intern will think they are now justified in killing innocent civillians.............................. to infinity?

hmmm i wonder why these afghans thought they were justified in killing innocent civllians in the first place?

Really? For what? Liberating them from the inhuman Taliban oppresion?
Increasing their economic productivity and average standard of living compared to the time before the invasion?
Fighting against insurgents that kill far more innocent civilians than coalition forces, and do it purposely, not only as unwanted collateral damage when trying to eliminate armed opposition?

Seriously, people who claim afghan islamist insurgents are somehow fighting for "freedom" are such a sheep. They fight only for the reinstallment of medieval Taliban regime.

And if the Chinese invaded the USA to save the Americans from the evil and curropt US government?
Would you go hand in hand with your new rulers?

Peace is like a cute little fairy tale you tell to some stupid kid before bedtime.

We are human.

War is peace

Kill or be killed.

Looks like the report is blaming it on the Preacher who burned korans here in the US. I thought he never went through with that.

seems more like the Afghan people are realizing the power of the people in numbers... although why Kill people from the UN?

to scare the countries of the people who were killed. spreading the fear as usual?

I am getting so sick and tired of these people. I suggest we withdraw all troops from Afghanistan and let them deal with their problems themselves. You'd think the last thing they should worry about is a preacher in the US. Look at their country, it's one complete mess and instead of making it a better place, they need to attack the UN so badly.

Pathetic.

I am not from the US. But yes, if my government breached basic human rights, and there would be no real possibility of defeating it by domestic revolution, I would be all for foreign (even Chinese) intervention to stop it.
And if after that insurgents were killing far more of my fellow citizens than the Chinese, I would even more certainly be against them and supporting the Chinese.

We need to leave these barbaric third world countries to just get on with it, if they destroy each other so be it. I'm sick of them all now, they've drained all compassion from my heart over time. We give them aid wherever we can yet if we walked down one of their roads we'd be killed, to hell with them all.

Koran burning protests my azz. These protests probably have more to do with the "Kill Team" photos which were recently released than anything else. The Redneck in Florida is obviously being used as a scapegoat to divert attention away from the real cause.

President Hamid Karzai on Wednesday denounced American soldiers who posed for gruesome pictures with Afghan victims of alleged "trophy" killings, calling the deaths cruel and tragic.

articles.latimes.com...

Do you really think it is a coincidence that President Karzai addressed this issue on Wednesday and two days later these violent riots break out?

At NATO headquarters, there are fears that the coming days could see angry protests in Afghanistan or even potential attacks against NATO units. "The images have an enormous potential here in Afghanistan," one NATO general told SPIEGEL ONLINE. "Experience shows that it might take a couple of days, but then people's anger will be vented."

Keep swallowing the garbage you're being fed people.

where did I ever say that I want innocent people killed? I was purely talking about going after the guys that stormed the UN building..... and tearing them apart limb from limb.... sadistic maybe... but they definitely deserve it. The way that Taliban people behead their enemies are with their hands tied behind their backs, someone holding their head, and another person sawing with a huge knife.... THESE PEOPLE ARE ALIVE WHEN THEY DO IT..... This P.C. bull crap you all play is a joke, go look for the video that was leaked of the soldier getting his head cut off, it will change your whole perspective.

They thought they were justified in killing innocents, because a retarded guy here in the U.S. burned their sacred books..... I don't qualify him as a pastor, because if he was following his supposed christian beliefs he would not be doing things to make people angry on purpose.

Unless more of us Americans wake up and realize it's not going to stop in the Middle East and will come to the United States. Wait it already is here and has been for some time now but it's being done non-violently through laws and monetary control.

I have said this before we need to bring back to the USA all soldiers from around the world because they are going to be overwhelmed very soon as they are already surrounded.

It is sad most of you don't realize what is happening right before our eyes and more will but I would bet it will be too late.

It is not that religions are bad, it's the people that use them to control the masses and use them for their own personal gain. It isn't much different than what the Vatican has done throughout history only in recent times they do it under the guise of peace.

God Bless!!

Always nice to see the religion of peace followers use a stupid lame excuse for killing people.

Fighting an invader I have no problem with killing innocents because of what might have happened to a book is stupid.

My own personal opinion is that these nutters use there so called religion of peace as an excuse to kill.
