Tell me how the people in the people inside the UN building were controlling the US drones.... you tinfoil hatted people drive me up the wall.... while I agree the U.S. Is going too far and reaching... ( I dont support the U.S. going into any battle that doesn't directly affect our country) Killing people over a book , be it bibles, Qurans, whatever.... especially beheading them.... REALLY.. Maybe if they kill one of your family your view will change, but as far as I am concerned yes.... Go reign down fire on them.... If you've ever been in the presence of an AA-12 you would know why I said it... they put fear in all that see what it can do.... Im not for murdering innocent people, so bombing is out, but blowing these dumb jihadists limb from limb would serve the purpose..... legs, then arms, then let em bleed out..... THEY KILLED INNOCENT PEOPLE.... treat em like the dogs they are /RANT

LOL shotguns? surely there are much better choices of weaponry...
anyway.

your statement is exactly why the world is where it is today..

Not to get too far off topic here but calling the AA 12 just a shotgun is like saying the .50 BMG a good rifle for plinking cans and bottles.. check it out here- www.youtube.com...

NO, slow child, I KNOW that the people who planned and carried out 9-11 were Saudi Arabian. One of the few nations in the middle east we are NOT attacking.

MAZAR-I-SHARIF, Afghanistan — At least eight foreign UN workers were killed, two of them beheaded, on Friday in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif after a demonstration against the burning of Korans by a U.S. preacher, a regional police spokesman said.

"Eight foreigners were killed and two were beheaded," said Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai, a police spokesman for the northern region.

Why do you wonder what their motivation was, it clearly says in the second sentence of the article you posted, retaliation for the Koran burning preacher.

I wonder how the Afghans became aware of his March Koran burning, I live in the states and didn't hear anything about it until I read the article about their killing spree.

It couldnt possibly be the media trying to incite the kind of actions that make Americans support bombing the crap out of middle eastern countries could it?

Could be, but I don't think the story is bogus in this case. I saw the UN press release this morning, that's all the media is citing.

My guess is the reason the UN building was stormed is because the UN is supporting the war in Libya which is killing civilians, and the cover story was put in place to blame it on a guy in Flordia burning the koran. Gotta hand it to the anti-muslims, they have no limitation to the ignorant hatred they apply to muslims.

Sky News are saying that he only attended a book burning meeting, he didn't physically burn the books himself, he was only present at the time in early March.

You asked how the Afghans knew about the Koran burning.

Im not saying the attacks were fake, they could be, but I dont know or have any reason to suspect that at this point. I am just saying that how the Afghans are getting news of western atrocities is very likely the same way we here in the US are getting news of Mid East atrocities.

The muslims are just beyond rage as soon as you talk or whatever say anything about their holy Koran. But can any Muslim give me 1 good reason why these innocent UN employees had to die just because there was a rumour about burning a Koran by 1 reverent in the US.

Maybe the same reason all those innocent Iraqi's had to die? Because the media and some leaders inflamed the passions of people already upset by tragedy and death?

It seems like a made up reason to me, I don't buy it at all. I think it is more likely they are sick of the UN forces killing people in their country, not pissed about some little bonfire, that not many people outside the hateful little biblethumper community heard about.

"the Muslims"? All 1.5 billion of them?

Isn't blaming the actions of a small group of people on an entire culture exactly what you are decrying when it is applied to UN employees? Why not extend the same courtesy to 'the muslims'?

I was wondering the same thing myself. Perhaps he will respond.

There is no good reason, those that carried out the attack will be judged for the murders they have committed.

Ironic, they kill people for the burning a book which so we are told teaches peace and love.

Wonder what their Allah will say to them when they reach the pearly gates.

This is the 21st century the Quoran is only a book, Christians, Jews, Hindu's etc get the p taken out of them all the time where is the beheadings?

I can't help but notice a good deal of people saying about how this is the fault of the Americans. Let me tell you a little secret. I'm an American and I don't ever remember saying that my government should be doing anything over there. People should stop including entire populations with the acts of a few people.

On another note, most of the middle East is revolting against oppression. If the UN is supporting wars over there then I suppose I would be pretty P.O.'d myself being in their shoes. I know damned well if some foreign soldiers came to the United States and started a war here, very few Americans would put up with it.

So what is the solution to this issue? Simple. Stop invading other countries for their resources. No civilian wants their home to be blown up. American or Afghan. It's time we stop being the retards of the planet and blowing ourselves up.

He didn't do it. After an hours long visit from local FBI officials he cancelled the event. (unless I am mistaken)

But they don't know that, do they?

At any rate, it's just an excuse to behave barbarically. As if those people they killed had anything at all to do with it.

Passionate hatred is the worst kind of opiate.....

edit on 1-4-2011 by Maxmars because: (no reason given)

It was reported earlier on the news that he said he wouldn't burn it but then did 10 days ago

Just another reason why organised religion is wrong. One guy burns the book of one religion, followers of that religion then murder innocent UN people in the name of vengeance.

Yes the people who carried out the 9/11 attacks were Saudi Arabian but these guys(who's mostly disaffected with American) went to Afghanistan and become part of Al-Qaeda. That's where the Al-Qaeda and the Taliban was trained and that's why we are there for to stop them training any people, regardless of any nationality, that wanted to attack US and NATO.

But since 10 years ahead with no victory in sight we should pull out of there.
