I don't understand the significance of song/rap lyrics.
These are people just like you and me, writing about things that they find interesting, writing about things they know, writing about the way they would like things to be, and commenting on the world around them in general. Anyone reading this post has interest in some aspect of conspiracy, the esoteric, or some other topic covered by this great site. Why should these people be any different? All that sets them apart is that they have found a way to use these interests in an artistic manner which is economically viable, where as we just watch and comment.
