The waterproof MC you ain't wettin' me
You need to stop rappin' and start robbin' banks like Steady B
Cause see no matter how much green you make
You never taste the avocado just another broke Versace model
Tiger Woods ain't even up to par in the game of survival
That's why I'm pissin' in y'all Cristal bottles
Drink Listerine brush my teeth with amphetamine
So I can sound fresh and say dope things in between
You strike to five my average snorter, I want a woman
With the body of a hoochie and a personality like Gloria
Can't even say I didn't know 'cause while we wanna be
NWA they create the NWO
How many years, fo' mo' so # them fake John Gotties
Ain't got no Mazzeraties I be at the party sippin' on Todies
My niggas pumpin' areas, out Audies in Saudi
I'm thuggish ruggish to the bone, and I'm gonna dis everybody
Chorus (x2):
You want the truth, can't handle the truth, you want
Lexus Moonroof, Hennesssy 80 proof
Niggas scared to death, playin' the game of life
Soul on ice

I'm a product of the nation
My Nintendo's on the floor
On a permanent vacation
Momma's bangin' at my door
Na na na
She's screamin at me
But I don't wanna understand
And I go ooooh
It goes on and on and on
[Chorus]
Is it Saturday yet
Cuz I wanna get up
Is it Saturday yet
It just feels like a Saturday
Baby
Is it Saturday yet
I just wanna get up
Is it Saturday yet
Cuz it feels like a Saturday
Baby
Is it Saturday
I was raised by the television
Jerry Springer was my dad
And it wouldn't matter
If Martha Stewart was my mother
And Aaron Carter was my brother
Cuz I'd still be bad
I'm a product of the nation
I'm the last generation
Na na na
They won't stop screamin
And I don't think they understand
And I go ooooh
It goes on and on and on
[Chorus]
Information overload
Comin through my mind
That I can't control
In the back of my head
Are the eyes that I see
That has got to be
A side of me
And I go ohhhhhhhhh
She's screamin at me
But I don't wanna understand
[Chorus]

it has become 'hip' to have concientious lyrics - heck, its almost become a requirement for success. i mean, its everywhere! what would a rapper rap about if it wasnt some kind of oppression?
i can feel the honest emotion that some artists put into their work, and appreciate it - but singing about your problems never fixed them unless singing made you enough money to buy the problem away. *ALERT*
sadly - MTV caught on and made it hip to scream at the government - turning NWO conspiracy fears into an angsty teenage stage that were all destined to go through. sad.
I don't know if I agree with you there I mean yes there are alot of songs speaking against Big Brother but to be honest I don't think the average person even knows what most of the lyrics are talking about. Most people listen to music with just their ears but not their mind and that's a fact. I feel that most artists that are speaking against the Government are doing it not to get rich but because they truly feel the way they do and want the spread the word because they could of easily left that part out. Now that dude that posted Backstreet Boy lyrics that's the exception. But knowledge of Government corruption is probably less than 1% in America so it wouldn't make sense for artists to do it for money because most people would just think they are crazy so they hide them in their lyrics leaving it for people in the know to decifer that's what I think anyway.
