Kevin Randle has a series of fictional books he's written based on first contact

I wonder if there are any real account of people seeing owl-like faces outside their homes before abductions. That's really interesting because obviously a Grey's face can resemble the look of an owl's face.

I think there is a good chance that Greys come from the Zeta 2 Reticuli star system. What do the rest of you think?

Sure i've heard about other abductions involving the abductee seeing owl faces and other animals as well. Could of easily been a hoax though, ya just dont know nowadays.
But if any of it is true, who knows what it could be. Hallucinations? Greys faces? I personally have no idea...

I believe owls have long been part of the typical 'screen' memory reported by those who believe they have been abducted. I know Streiber reports having a strange memory of seeing an owl in the book Communion, which he says is true, and that they show up throughout the case histories.

Severely under-rated film

Well, I rented this movie with an open mind, and expecting to be at least a little startled after many of my back-then co-workers suggested the movie to me, saying it was "the scariest movie ever!", and that they "couldn't sleep for three nights!".

Well, first off: Universal created fake news headlines and obituaries to make it seem as if the movie was actually based on facts and evidence. Even the "OMG it's so real!"-interviews with the supposedly paralyzed Dr. Abigail Tyler were a load of bull, as she was played by an actress.

So even if we sit down and pretended that it's a story that is somewhat based on reality- What's more likely?
That Sumerian-speaking aliens took her daughter because she pissed them off? Or that, after the traumatic suicide of her husband for which she blamed an intruder, Dr. Tyler developed a mental condition such as paranoid schizophrenia (correct me if I'm using the wrong one) and ended up killing her own daughter?

As much as I love movies dealing with extraterrestrial contact, The 4th Kind was a pathetic P.O.S.

Ever since we watched this movie, my room mates and I have a running joke concerning the "Oh no! It's an owl!"-parts.

So if you haven't seen it, don't. It's a waste of time and money. And not just that. Unfortunately, this movie and its made-up marketing campaign gives people just another reason to dismiss the idea of extraterrestrial contact.

By the way, I'm very excited for Cowboys Vs. Aliens and Super 8.

yes, plenty.

I posted a thread about fourth kind before and was directed to a few similar threads on ATS.

If you like, I have posted about owl and abductions experiences of my own on various threads which you will find from my posts in profile or if you do a search there will be plenty from other ATS members with similar encounters.

Alien films just make money off the backs of the America people in environmental captivity.
A shame we don't wake up and demand the truth about environmental power.
From 1891 to 1981 was too long a wait already.
The truth will still be denied in 2081 thanks to deadbeats of alien propaganda.

I think the abduction phenomenom is very simple. The aliens make fair aggrements with the gov't and the aliens say that they will only abduct people for study and place them right back in their beds. What the aliens are really doing though is abducting people for mind control when the time comes to disript the world. They also clone every abductee. They figured why not instead clone these people raise them then use them for our own need such as to consume, instead of making ourselves known by abducting people and letting them never beign seen again, because this way there will be no speculations.

Reptilian spirits are any spirits that hate God and destroy mankind. The media some say is a tool of the Anoookinooki. Spreading lust and depravity and useless unintelligent movies to create money for them and depression in weak minds. Give me intelligent National Geographic and smart documentaries anyday.

hmm maybe I should give it another try. I turned it off around 30 minute in because i found it incredibly boring and slow. I'll give it a full shot this time

By all means give it another shot. Yes, it was kinda slow, but it was the MOST convincing ET/UFO movie of any kind I've ever seen.

This is fast becoming one of my favorite movies about abductions...if its real, then WOW, if not, kudos to the director
Comments? Thoughts?

Actually the movie is just as such. In the relation with the phenomena is a total insult and disinformation.

Took the words out of my mouth. Did enjoy it though, got my girl scared to go outside that night. But honestly, the message? As someone who has spent a few years researching anything E..T related, I have to strongly agree with the quote above. It is very funny to me, that these movies try so hard to instill fear. You can suspend disbelief, but the fear still gets you. Movies like this serve as little more than hypnosis, using dark sounding music and a farce claim of "This is real".

The owls are not bad. If you met an owl, you would know that they sympathize with us. If you get what I mean by owl.
