What is not realized in near death experiences is that they are experiencing a dream state that the perceived time approaches infinity as the point of true death occurs. Consciousness is not energy. Your brain can be considered a flash drive and your mind and experiences are the information. What happens to the files when you destroy the drive? the files go as well not transmuted to any other form. Sorry guys when you die you are dead. You will experience a billion year long dream just for its lights out.
What an absolutely stupid statement. Consciousness if the flowing of electrical energy through your brain. Memories are stored in a "flash drive" type of manner, but consciousness it's self is an energy that might possibly exist after death. Some research has shown the body loses something like 1 gram the moment you die, some people hypothesize the is your "soul energy" leaving your body, your raw consciousness moving into the next realm of existence, a non-physical existence. But hey, no one really knows. I don't, and neither do you. Your conclusions aren't set in stone.
Consciousness is not energy

Do you have any proof? I have all the personal proof I need that says otherwise.
