there is a difference between a certificate of live birth and a birth certificate. What you show is a short form stating yes there is a birth certificate. BUT the man who issued this short form certificate of live birth admits that he did not find a birth certificate.

Well done to trump, he kept his eye on the prize and didnt allow anything to distract him from saying it as clear as glass on national TV. It was said in such a public manner, by a VIP directly at the president, it was a real issue that deserved to be asked and deserves an answer.

If Obama DOESNT respond with his certificate, then he obviously has something to hide.

Such a simple request would solve so many problems, so why doesnt he?

All I have to say is that in order for you to get an American Passport you are required to provide proof of American Citizenship...and that doesn't stop at a drivers license or state-issued ID card or SS Card...but with a birth certificate or proof of naturalization. If memory serves me right, Obama was well-traveled in his youth and before becoming a public official as that is the main argument most conservatives make when they point out his un-Americaness...So i ask you-Without a birth certificate, how was he able to attain an American passport and never have any problems re-newing it? I can't believe no one has really pointed this out!

The only reason he is being asked to show the birth certificate isn't because of his colour, it is because he refuses to show it. Why? If someone questioned me, I would show mine. What did he achieve in order to become president? Did he have a long, successful career in politics? I don't think people could say that. Did he serve his country? No. At least not outside of politics. Was he a different colour than the regular puppets? Bingo. I don't care where he was born, but, I don't believe he was born in the US. If he was, prove me wrong.

Devils advocate: Back in those days it was WAY easier to travel with fake documents. Once you get them, it doesn't take much to renew a passport. It is even WAY to easy nowadays to do it.

Obama has not provided his birth certificate. Not now. Not ever.

All Obama has shown is what is called a 'short form' which is basically issued based on nothing other than a request and filling out a form. It is considered so unworthy of proof that it is not accepted as a form of I.D. when applying for a driver's license in Hawaii.

The 'long form' is a real birth certificate.

Obama has refused to provide the 'long form' which would have existed if he had actually been born in Hawaii. He has also hired lawyers to ensure that his school records, application for a passport or any other document that might reveal his actual place of birth are sealed and made unavailable to anyone. Why do you suppose that is? And this from a man who campaigned on a promise of transparency in government !!! You see nothing strange here?
All he had to do was produce his 'long form' and the birther movement would have died before it was born. So he did everything he could to conceal it. You consider this normal? logical? intelligent?
Those who criticize the birthers always fail to answer that one single central question. Obama will not show his 'long form'.
WHY?
Simple question. It has been years and no answer has come forth yet.

He can silence the whole birther movement by producing this one document and yet he refuses.
WHY?
And for those who attack the birthers I, myself, wonder why they (yourself included) always pretend he has produced a birth certificate when he has not. They seem unable or unwilling to deal with the truth.

In 1961 the word African was not used to describe a persons nationality (Only Negro) on Hawaiian birth certificates. Let's say that the treasonous forger's at Fact Check, Soros MoveOn, Daily Kos, Media Matters, Fight The Smears and Hawaii, screwed up.
Big deal...The Federal Justice Dept and Supreme Court are afraid of them, so they really don't have anything to worry about....It's even being said that there is a movement in Hawaii to produce a long form birth certificate for Barrys run for POUS in 2012...Democrats do the crime but don't have to worry about doing the time...If it would have been a Republican...This whole crew would have been rounded up, convicted and sent so far into Leveworth that they would have to pump sunshine to them.

Someone could start a movement "Don't vote until you see the birth certificate".
In Kalifornia we show id to vote, so why don't they show birth certificates if we are to vote for them?

This whole birth certificate issue has become irrelevant because it is wholly clear that there is NOTHING Obama and/or his supporters could do that would satisfy the birthers need for proof--literally nothing. They (the birthers) took a legitimate constitutional question and drove it to the realm of absurdity by their insistence for a degree a proof that could never be attained.

The birth cert is missing or he's not showing it to you because you didnt say please. who cares?

Hawaii isnt part of the continental US anyway. and was probably not part of the US when it was decided the president must be born in the US. So, taking these idiots logic to the extreme, wether he's lying or not, the guy cant win.
