The Obama campaign eventually released some routine lab-test results and electrocardiograms for Obama.

*Obama refused to offer his official papers as a state legislator in Illinois and did not produce correspondence, such as letters from lobbyists and other information, from his days in the Illinois Senate.

*Obama did not release his client list as an attorney or his billing records.

*Obama declined to release his college records from Occidental College, where he studied for two years before transferring to Columbia University.

*Obama’s campaign refused to give Columbia University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in political science, permission to release his transcripts. Such transcripts would list the courses Obama took, and his grades.

*Obama’s college dissertation, reportedly titled “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament,” has disappeared from Columbia’s archives.

*Obama did not agree to the release of his application to the Illinois state bar, which would clear up intermittent allegations that his application to the bar may have been inaccurate.

*Obama has not released records from his time at Harvard Law School.

During his campaign for president, Obama promised he would make his White House “the most open and transparent administration in history.”


I sure am glad he/she is in office now at least we know his/her words were true when he/she said "“ I will make the White House the most open and transparent administration in history.”

Any person with the awsome responsibility as POTUS should let it be known or proven that he or she is a legal citizen if the U.S. Anything less is tends to lead to suspension. Why cannot he produce it? There must be some damming information on it that he does not want to be released to the public. He and this country is in deep do-do if he is not legal. Think about it. Makes sense to me!

It is unfortunate that Obama just happens to be half black because its too easy to yell racism however the truth of the matter is that there has never before been a question about the birth of any of our other Presidents. ZFinally someone like Trump spoke up. If we must show our birth certificates to get a Drivers License or ID then those who hold the office of President of the United States must definately do the same. Whatever happened to all that change we could believe in? How about we change the laws so that you absolutely must show proof of birth for the office of President of the United States? And while were at it we must make DNA tests of both parents mandatory before declaring paternity or maternity on legal documents of birth (birth certificates).

My first comment...hope I followed the rules.

Obama should have to show his birth certificate. That being said, he should not have to show it to every Tom, Dick, and Harry, but since it is a REQUIREMENT that our presedent be born in the US of A I would imagine that a valid birth certificate would be a vital piece of verified information BEFORE he went on the ballot...kind of late to go through all this now don't you think?

The short of it...we should have done a check on him (as with everyone else) before he was placed on the ballot, it's a bit pointless to ask for proof after he's made it to office. That's like telling the cat to spit the canary back out...not going to happen without a fight. (You tell him Mr. Trump!)

The Ulsterman reports have predicted there is an issue---presumably surrounding the birther issue---that could surface and basically ruin Obama.

I'm surprised Trump is leading the pack on this. But He is planning on running for president in 2012.

You know I was just watching the video again and reading some of the comments on here. I have seen a few people saying it's irrelevant. Does this mean the Constitution is irrelevant to you as well? I really am bothered by how it seems to be more of an issue that us "Birthers" want proof. Why is it that we are being dubbed as evil? Is it because those of you who say you don't care secretly fear that it's true? There really shouldn't be a question. I'm shocked that the courts let this go as nothing to be honest. If I had the funding and the money I would take this to court again as to me it is our legal right to know. They serve the people not the other way around and the sooner they remember this the better.

I have to say, I agree with Trump. There are enough people in this country who want proof. It has become a big deal. Why not shut the birthers up? He would gain SOOOO many points if he did. I mean, come on, the man LOVES to talk it up in front of a camera anyway. Why doesnt he just add to one of his speeches a two minute deal where he shows Trump his birth certificate? If its that big of a deal, and the citizens are concerned then he needs to. Not doing so just makes him look questionable. BUT then again, he said that he wasnt born in America and didnt need to be in order to be a Senator and we are all called names for remembering that little bit that disappeared. So, I guess him showing something like his birth certificate on tv could be twisted too.
