Do you know how many people make predictions? All sorts of predictions are made. Look at Velikovsky. He made hundreds and now his devotees want to claim success because some were "right" even though the reasoning behind them was faulty.

So someone thinks they saw the video before the event? I doubt it. Probably wishful thinking. We want proof it was done beforehand.

You know what they say about predictions, "The most successful predictions are the ones done after the fact."

You probably don't recall the name Tamara Rand. She put out a video in which she predicted that someone would shoot the president. She was spot on. She got it right because she made the video right after someone shot Reagan.

Let's make sure everyone hears it loud and clear.

It's really funny to see people taking really poor alignments and claiming a connection.

This reminds me of the cucumber claim. The claim is that if you knew the positions of all of the cucumbers in the world you'd know enough to predict the future. Since the locations of all cucumbers cannot be determined with certainty there is going to be some uncertainty in the predictions.

This is of course a spoof of astrology, which is what this Elenin earthquake nonsense is all about. These alignments are so course and meaningless that anything could be shoe horned into the claim. It could be floods or gasoline prices or the reason some starlet gets tossed into jail.

The point is not that anything particular is happening, but rather there are always things happening on this active Earth of ours and nothing is signaling any sort of big event.

These are not the warm acts for a the big disaster. That sort of thinking is just anthropomorphizing nature.

A typical take a comment out of context statement. How droll.

The issue is whether or not an online video has merit. You are attempting to claim that because there are dead people involved there must be merit to a probably fraudulent video.

It must be embarrassing to stoop to this level to try and support a failed claim.

That has been well established.

1. There is no evidence that the video was made before the disaster.
2. The evidence is clear that no bodies outside of the Moon affect earthquakes. Even the Moon is not well correlated to a few types of weak earthquakes.

there are types of predictions..dreams...visions...i dont believe any of those...but when prediction are done with common sense..like..getting a good result in predicting a soccer game viewing formations/previous matches etc..or predicting stock movements following data..than there is skill involved...so yes itsintriguing..telling otherwise is not very wise dont you think?

My friend the petty dispute ended hours ago we even had a mod coming in just to say "Ah I see the petty dispute ended already". Why out of nowhere you decided it was a good idea to flame some more I don't understand. Regardless though this thread has a very simple topic - Elenin is not a comet, it is actually a brown dwarf called Nibiru, That's the thread we are in my friend.

well i do hope you are right but i am not one for chance or coincidence... nor am i one to give up easily, i still think there is more to these coincidences and i endevour to find as much out about as i can. I hope that you would coone this as i am only trying to help people in the end. If my efforts are fruitless than so be it, at least in the future IF any more "coincidences" occur i will be able to say that i tried to help...

Like i said in my first post on this thread it is not my intent to dispute anyones claims, i only seek as much information i can in regards to my questions and concerns, your efforts throughout have only seemed to attempt to detract others from the same. Maybe you are talking about this video from Nania (link). Nania is the first person I know that made the connection to the Feb. 27, 2010 8.8 Chile Quake 'and' makes the prediction about a similar event happening this year with the starting date of March 11, 2011. Take the video counter to 1:15/14:54 to see what I mean. She says, "It looks like it could be March 11 ...". My original Event Timeline turned out to be wrong by four days (changed), but Nania seems to be a better forecaster than many who have been writing on this topic and running our own investigations. While I do not endorse everything Nania puts in her videos, she seems to be doing very well in making the ELEnin = Dwarf Star connections.

Thank you for admitting that you were way off base.

I provided a tiny list to illustrate that we live on an active planet with all sorts of events that are dangerous. I appreciate heineken's effort at showing how these events are common and happen all year long like it or not.

The one thing we know about disasters is that in general there are no "warm up acts" to alert us to a disaster. Sure we can decide that living in a flood plain is a bad idea, or that a city built inside of a caldera is going to get toasted some day, or that cities built on major tectonic fault zones are going to have to live with the prospect of rebuilding.

yes, but conversations evolve and turn into...what we have now. I will agree that the title of the thread will doom this topic to obsurity and my concerns will go unnoticed, i am just hesitant to begin a new thread regarding my realistic questions....
