The alignments are actually rather pathetic. Take a look. The SSD applet lets you turn the image in 3D and you can see that these alignments are incredibly poor.

Consider this. The Moon is close. It accounts for 2/3 the tidal effect. The Sun accounts for the other 1/3. It has been supposed for countless years that the Moon causes all sorts of effects. Guess what? When studies are done it does not appear to do anything. I think we can all agree that it doesn't change people into werewolves, but what about crime? No. Studies show it isn't so. What about volcanoes. Nope. Wat about earthquakes? In general no.

But I thought you said it did?

OK. In general no. Are there particular earthquakes that might be affected? The tentative answer is maybe. It seems that some types of quakes are affected by the Moon. What is very clear is that quakes in general are not affected by events outside of the Earth especially strong quakes.

Elenin cannot be a massive object. If that is the claim then it is a no brainer that the video is no better than reading animal entrails.

We were attempting to establish the date that the video was created as some do not beleive it was prior to the Japan EQ. while the date is clearly stated on the youtube site as March 8th, i was attempting to find the original ATS post that had a link to this prior to MArch 11th, thank you for your time.

This is the old and misrepresent story. When people did not travel far and began to measure the heavens they used a simple model which was more than adequate for their needs. When people traveled they quickly realized something was different and changed their world view.

To suggest that a flat Earth model is not useful is silly. To suggest that people were not quick to realize the limitations of the model is also silly.

I will only add here that my family and freinds who work in Hospitals and Police/Fire departments would say that there is generally and upsurge in activities on nights with a full moon, and while some of them ascribe this to the moon itself i personally ascribe it to the mentality of the individuals involved.

In regards to the less than 2 degree inclination in the comets approach along the ecliptic, what if it is not as small as they are saying at first glance and what if its elemental make up consists of something that has far more mass or magnetism than we have encountered before.
How are the measurements and make up be identified reliably? is it possible that assumptions are made here based on past and findings or is each object treaded with the same scrutiny?

How can someone trust a government that does nothing but argue with each other, that does nothing but make themselves richer, and yes lies to everyone everyday. They argue about passing a budget simply because they want to make this country implode so they can have the UN come in to control the people because we are getting smart to what they are doing and it's time they actually start earning the bloated paycheck they write for themselves.

Yes I believe there are secrets. Secrets about our military abilities, about military installations. These are necessary evils to keep our shores safe.

On your second paragraph, an event like the one being described will not be survivable by anyone.

Being paranoid does not mean that anything is happening. You mistake the ability of non-government people to look for themselves. You can go out there and look at the sky all you want. It's free. Go out and look for the known planets. Go out and see the phases of the Moon. Go out and watch meteor showers. Find a local astronomy club and get the chance to see galaxies and nebulae and all of the other wonders of space. The best part is that it is free.

Actually that's not why they burnt Bruno at the stake. For those that do not know of Bruno he holds the distinction of being the last person burnt at the stake by the Church. What makes him so famous is that he wrote many books and they have survived despite of his heresies.
