I would love to take this opportunity to expose the hilarious
Hypocrisy of people.

For all those who see the op as wrong, remember...

You deny the existence of God based on the exact same
Argument. There is more evidence for the existence of God and his
Superhuman and very alien angels and prophets...

Yet most will deny the existence of God especially in times
Of peril.

Just remember, you do it too.

So what was the point of this thread? You don't believe in ET, OK. Some of us do. Neither of us can prove it one way or the other. It just seems like this thread was created to stir up an argument.

Well now, I see the reaction to your post has blown some fuses and while I can't blame the members who broke with ATS Forum Etiquette, I am just amused. Amused because I have been face to face with an non-human terrestrial (I didn't say Extra Terrestrial because I have no idea where it was from). I have also encountered non-manmade craft and orbs but almost as compelling, is my father's stories; a now retired Col and ex B-52 Pilot who would be chuckling at your post but, I wouldn't waste his time, since cloistered, often well educated imbeciles with less life experience than a pair of my socks, are common.

No doubt, the various species of Terrestrial and Extra Terrestrial beings that are here, while they will probably save this or that special character, they are not going to save humanity but they are not going to let this planet be severally damaged. They have already collected all the DNA and species they think worth saving and now I expect they are waiting for the few years it will take for us to wipe each other out. Of which, you sir, are probably going to be of those on their way out.

So dig and provoke and spin whatever you like but living in your parent's basement isn't going to save you either bub.

I believe you aren't quite getting how saving a species works OP, You only need a few breeding pairs. Look at it this way ET's are far more advanced than your average human and woud reguard our species like a domestic pet....lets say dogs. You would need for example Male and female of each dog type not the whole race.
So the recent Earthquake for instance, although very tragic it is not an extinction event in which case you would see a immediate rise in UFO activity or maybe even people claiming to have had messages to build ships etc. etc.
As long as the species procreates then the souls aren't gone for good.......besides we go where dark matter takes us...from one earth to the next.

If you experiment with rats and study their behavior, they build a society and suddenly, let's say, the power plant of their society randomly ignites.
Will you save them, or help them? No. You're studying their behavior.

My point is, from what I've read they all appear to be "studying" or "observing" us. We should deal with stuff like this. Not God, or Aliens (although they are pretty much the same to me).

I love this post.

Not so much for its core beliefs but because of the reactions to it.

OP I get the drift. We better start saving ourselves because nobody else is going to do it.

But are ET's out there?

Oh I think so, they just don't think much of us and why should they, we are kind of nasty.

And the last time an ant hill flooded, it provided the necessary proof that benevolent humans do not walk the Earth.

Maybe the difference between a layman skeptic and a professional one, is knowing how to avoid fallacious reasoning.

When it come to God and myself I will always stand for what I believe in. I will never deny God neither will I ever deny him in time of peril as that is when he is needed most. I love God. Yes I'm catholic so you can bash me and say what you want about my religion and hate me cuz I love God. But just remember! Would God hate anyone? No he wouldn't.

They are here, but they are not going to help (prime directive you see), if you come across a cracked open anthill, would you try to repair it?. Would you know where to start?
I think it would be best to leave it up to the ants!
Yes it would be nice if we were all loving & kind, but we are not, we are human.
The best you can hope for is that there are more caring helpful people in the world than evil destructive ones.

Why would they help people who are destroying the planet?

A UFO crashed? How do you know it wasn't shot down?Remember the battle of L.A?

And why wouldn't we want to know if there is intelligent life out there?Their technology could help our species survive.Because the way we're going...Yeah let's drill holes in the planet to take all the oil out of it and hope nothing happens. And then we will dump oil into the oceans..and every other toxin we can think of and hope nothing happens.Let's set off nuclear bombs to destroy the atmosphere and ourselves, that's probably why so many people have cancer. Then let's war for greedy reasons and kill millions of our people in the process..I could see why they wouldn't want to help us.

I have not been practicing-devoutly religious. But I pay attention to Ufology, and I have listened, more often than I care to, of these audasciously pompous arrogant rightious Ufology guys, sometimes on a TV program, othertimes on a paranormal radio show, chortle snort and gloat about, how when everyone is finally Disclosed to, that extraterrestrial intelligent humanoids are here and are responsible for our major religions, and there is no 'God' to be accountable to, nor his ten commandments, Well, those guys do not know any further than any one else, if what they are preaching, is fact or not. The hypocrites. It would do them well to wonder if they are approved usefull tools of NWO psyops, instead. Even better still: You Ufology guys, do you *really* *truly* believe that when "ET"s are standing there saying, "Sorry, dump your faiths, it was only us", People are gonna go, "Goll, I guess I will renounce my faith then." Truly? You really are certain of that? Can I sell you some prize swampland I have for sale..........

And also the whole gamut of things people arbitrarily consider "right" or "wrong," including murder. "Murder is bad" can't be scientifically proven either so there's another one to chalk up to religion.

Okay the same could be said for any mythical being that people believe exist. Does this mean the chupacabre isnt real because it isnt swooping in and saving farm animals? or bigfoot? Or GOD? which is really what I am getting at. If God was real would HE let all of this happen? Would he let babies be starving in Africa and dying of AIDS? I think not. SO alien/god whatever they are the same thing. They dont exist. Not for the moment, not anywhere around here.

How does God let babies starve? Isn't that a human choice? A human is attached to that baby and the human is attached to the neighboring humans, they to their nation and the nation to the rest of humanity.
This is a collective failure which started with a personal failure and the life of a child involved so makes it all the more tragic.
But this is not Gods error. It is human failure.
If you have a child you are morally obligated to care for the child until it becomes of age to care for itself. This is decided by the society in which you live. The society is determined by the most powerful among the people.
The people dictate what the worlds greatest powers do.
So far "the people" do not see fit to make starvation, dehydration and disease PRIORITIES - UNLESS there is a VALUABLE natural resource in the area we can tap into.
This life is a test of our mercy. The dead are the ones in peace.

Not at all.
There is not a practically equal tug of war over murder.
Everyone except perhaps a few of the mentally challenged and all of the naturally violent agree that murder is "bad" and hardly ever necessary.

Religion, ET, life after death...we are evenly split.

Just because you don't have as much trouble rationalizing "murder is bad" without the mental crutch of the scientific method, doesn't mean it's actually a scientifically valid concept. "Bad" can't even be defined in objective, scientific terms. So there you go. Not everything you believe is actually a scientific fact, no matter who you think you are.

If the OP had a point, it certainly wasn't a logical one. That's all I'm saying. But that's already been demonstrated by others, and in the first post I made on this thread.

When the alternative damages any part of society it will be found unacceptable by mental crutch or scientific validity. Murder is irrational and anti-social behavior no matter who you think you are. This is the Liberal stance for decades and it includes war.

I think the OP had a few points overshadowed by some debatable declarations. Good for you demonstrating the irrationality of the OP but really looks like a glass house you are sitting in.
